I can be at home on the tv some shows lags or it freezes up. Not all the time logging out helps or unplugging the tv. Then you wana jack up the price . well you need add on more English Japan cartoons & Add the rest of the seasons to these shows. Hulu is more updated and still a few dollars cheaper

After having my Fire for a couple of months I decided to give Netflix a try. With the free 30 day trial, what did I have to lose?

The account set-up was a breeze. I was signed in and watching the first season of a favorite Showtime series within minutes. I know the display quality is amazing on this tablet but I wasn't quite sure how I'd like viewing anything longer than music videos or cruising around watching YouTube videos on a 7" screen and had no idea what the quality or comfort would be like. Now I know how much I absolutle love it. Here is a breakdown of my experience:

Video Quality: Amazing, true HD. Clear, crisp color with depth and brilliant resolution.

Sound: I like to use headphones with the sound set to maximum volume on the Fire. It's plenty loud so I fine tune the volume with the volume adjustment slider on my headphones. I've read complaints that the volume on the Fire was inadequate; this is just not the case (for me at least). Music and sound is plenty loud on the device; decent headphones enhance the experience by allowing me to eliminate noise and distractions (and not disturb others) and fully escape into whatever I'm watching.

Streaming: Fast, no lags, no buffering. Movies and TV shows play straight through without a glitch. I don't have the greatest DSL here, so I was surprised at how flawless and fast everything streams.

When watching anything, should you pause or close the application during play, you have the option of picking up where you left off. Install the app on any device, log in and it syncs across all of your devices and you can continue there as well.

I have it installed on my Evo 4g, my iPod Touch and my laptop. It performs great on all devices. It's well worth the $7.99 per month to me.

After reading some of the negative reviews I honestly figured I would cancel before the 30 day trial period expired, but it's a keeper. I'm really enjoying catching up on shows I never watched, re-watching shows I like and seeing movies I never bothered to see or refused to pay $6.00 for to watch on Pay Per View. The app is easy to browse by genre and search for specific titles.

My kids can log on with their Kindle Fires, and the Xbox allows for big screen viewing so it more than pays for itself. I can also use an HDMI cable and connect my phone or laptop to my big TV giving me lots of viewing options.

I've had my Fire since December and just decided to play around with Netflix two weeks ago. As a big fan of Amazon I was pretty disappointed with Amazon Prime's "free" selections and didn't think Netflix would be worth it either. Example - one season of a TV series is $18.00 on Amazon. I don't want to own it, I just want to watch it!

Had I known it would be such a great high quality experience (and enables me the perfect peaceful immersion into total blissful escape from everything around me) this would have been the first app I installed. I spend more than the monthly fee stopping for coffee and a bagel but Netflix is calorie free, more relaxing and lasts much longer.

Since I'm very rarely without wifi Netflix is perfect. If I absolutely have to watch that episode of Weeds right now because I'll throw myself to the floor in a full blown toddler-tantrum - I always have my phone. Streaming over 3g is fast and doesn't stall to buffer.

Bottom Line: I love Netflix. Great app, great quality, great bang for your buck. I never imagined that I'd enjoy watching movies and programs more on a tablet than on a big screen television, but most of the time I do.

If you've hesitated, don't - give it a try. It's a great app and Netflix is very affordable, especially if you have multiple devices in your household.

Netflix is awesome. In case you have been under a rock for the last several years, Netflix is a great service for watching TV and movies. They have a ton of original content, and their library is only getting bigger. Plus, they have a monopoly on the Disney movies, so you can watch most of those on here as well. Netflix also has the biggest collection of indie and privately made films that I have found. I can't guarantee you will find the exaxt movie you are looking for every single time, but there is always something to watch on here.

The only other better thing than Netflix is being able to watch Netflix elsewhere. One nice thing about Netflix is that you can start watching a show on your computer, TV, or somewhere else, and when you are on the go, you can finish watching it while you are on the bus, on lunch, or somewhere else because you can pick up right where you left off on a different device. It does make it nice when you have a long wait at the doctor's office or somewhere else where entertainment is on the low end of availability. You can only read those magazines so long. This app works really well. It's seamless in its transitions, plays videos well, and does not ever seem to freeze or crash on me. The Netflix app has performed awesome for me for the months that I have had it downloaded on my Kindle Fire. This app is a great download, and it's free, so there is not much better than that!

All you have to pay is the little fee to get unlimited access to a huge variety of entertainment. This is more for movies. It definitely has a huge selection of TV stuff, but really, if you subscribe to Hulu and Netflix, you could nix your cable pretty easily and be able to not miss out on much of anything.

The last awesome thing about Netflix, unlike some other places like Hulu, is that you do not get any commercials. This service is commercial free, which is amazing. There is no interrupting your show, no ads in the front or back of items, no ads on the screens, etc. It's nice when every other single app everywhere else shows ads because this can become your getaway from that! All in all, it's a great app and a great service and is well worth it!!

Of all the monthly bills I pay, the bill for my Netflix account is probably the only one I don't mind paying since it is such a great value. I love that their business model allows them to produce such a wide variety of shows and movies. I can't imagine any other network producing a full range of super hero shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones), a movie quality old-west mini-series (Godless), a Pee-Wee Herman movie, a sitcom about a woman turning to a zombie (Santa Clarita Diet) and a show about women pro-wrestling set in the 1980's (GLOW). It is so great that they can take risks on shows like this on top of providing a pretty great range of shows from other networks. I think I realized last year that there are more Netflix shows I enjoy than shows on any other channel. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is probably my favourite show on tv.

The Netflix app on the Fire Stick works really well too. Much better than the version of the app on my Bell pvr and maybe even better than the app on the Roku stick. It is easy to search for specific things or just browse to look for something interesting and new. Content always loads fast without any playback issues. I like Netflix so much at this point that it would be really difficult to give it up.

Recently I bought a Fire Tablet and the Netflix app for that works perfect as well. It loads fast and downloading movies for watching while travelling is really easy.
