The trainer and trainer assistant are very professional and detail-oriented, we feel so safe and relaxed with them by our side.

Our trainer and trainer assistant guided us through step by step, it is a zero to hero class. It was such an awesome experience to become a mermaid. Childhood dream comes true.

The environment is very unqiue and WOW, how often can you go behind the stage of House of Dancing Water?

We are looking forward for the next advanced class, we can't wait and very excited.

The Dom Pedro V Theatre is one of the handful of World Heritage attractions located at St. Augustine's Square in the Historic Centre of Macau. This was the first Western theatre house built in China back in 1860 and is of delightful Portuguese colonial architecture with a Neoclassical facade, large pediment and a column lined portico. The building is pastel green in colour and fronted by a huge Chinese banyan tree as well.

In addition to enjoying the exterior appearance of Teatro de Pedro V, the interior was reopened to the public around 10 years ago allowing you to see the nicely decorated welcoming hall as well as the small modern auditorium that was renovated around that time. The theatre does hold performances from time to time as well. Opening hours are presently 10am to 6pm daily (closed on Tuesdays)

One of the times of the year I like to visit is during Chinese New Year, when the dragon parade passes by and poses in front of Dom Pedro V Theatre, providing unique photograph opportunities that perfectly capture the fusion of Portuguese and Chinese architecture, heritage and culture that is so uniqued fused here in Macau.

We found that the theatre was vast with a great deal of plush seating. The accoustics were good and it seemed that this was an optimal site at which to take in a concert.

Stumbled across this little place and was blown away not only by the Gin and Tonics but also the Mongolian vodka served in copper shooting bowls. Make sure you try the Mongolian Somoza too!
