Very energentic, fun but boy do you sweat!!

I have done this DVD about twice now and boy do you sweat!! The first time I did it, I just did the warm up and punch sections. But I was knackered at the end of it I couldn't do the rest of it. My thighs ached for 2 days afterwards having done the punch section, but once the pain went away I continued to use the DVD knowing that I will get used to it and find it easier with time. Having done it for the second time I managed to do ALL of it and not feel as tired as I did before and no aches in my legs either (my arms did ache a little I have to admit). There were parts in the sweat section where I couldn't keep up so I just marched on the spot, which is fine. Then when I did the punch section, my energy levels were getting low but I still managed to complete it without much of a struggle. The tone section was not easy for me so I just did what I can. Dee, the trainer, suggests you catch up in your own time so you don't feel like you have to go at their pace. She is very motivating and positive, giving instructions on the next move, very reassuring. Overall I really do like this DVD as I feel I am working hard enough, breaking a sweat (a lot in fact!!). I admit it was a little hard at first to keep up with the steps but you will learn the routine in no time, its very easy once you know it. I have a few of Rosemary Conley's DVD's, which I think are good, but I don't find them making me work hard enough now then before. I don't expect to achieve a celebrity figure with any fitness DVD, we're all different sizes, but I am sure if anyone sticks to it regularly, you can loose the extra weight, get fitter and tone up. I don't recommend this to anyone who is very over weight (several stones to loose), new to exercise or has joint/keen problems. It is good for those who carry a little weight like myself and generally want to keep fit, tone up but in a fun energetic way. One thing I don't like is that they don't hold the cool down stretches long enough in my opinion so I just hold them longer in my own time.

wow what can i say! as a student i cant really afford to pay to go to the gym so this dvd was perfect for me! it really really makes you sweat!! if you dont do alot of exercise this may be quite tough to complete at first (as i found, i couldnt get through all 4 sections!!) but after about a week you get used to it and now i can complete all sections! each section works on different areas of the body, the warm up does what it says, the sweat section tackles mostly your legs, the punch section for your arms and the crunch section for just general toning, although i think they could have spent more time on the last section as they rush through it.
the routines aren't that hard as they repeat them slowly for you, and even after you get used to them, they still make you sweat. if you want to lose weight/tone up i would recommend you do this dvd daily, as i did it everyday without fail for 3 weeks and lost half a stone!! although i didn't notice any difference i think this dvd is much better if you want to tone up as although i've lost the weight, its just come back in the form of muscle now so i might have to stop doing the dvd now!
but all in all i would definately recommend this dvd if you want to lose a bit of excess weight or tone up! but you really have to be willing to work at it as its not easy work!

If you anything like me , you are googeling 'reviews on cassidy workout...succesful??' as money is a bit tight at the moMENT you dont wanT to waste more money on dvds that make ambitious claims.I brought this dvd after realising that crash dieting just wasnt going to work, and that really i just had to stop being so damn lazy!
I wanted to get fit and tone up some areas.
I have tried a couple of other dvd's but I could never stick to them not just because im easily bored but because the steps were quite tricky to follow.
Not with this dvd though! I have done 3 sections nearly everyday, which means i can eat more goodies without feeling so guilty! You def feel the effects and the great thing is that you can choose how much effort you put into it!
The dvd is split into 4 sections, warm up, punch, sweat and crunch the best thing is that u can do 2 or 3 sections daily , you choose which parts of the dvd that you like and how hard you wanna work out!
I know that those of you who have seen magazines of natalie cassidy recently admitting to having used laxatives during this workout dvd may think that perhaps this dvd does not work, but I honestly think exercise is ( unfortunatley!) the only way to really burn calories and see changes ,and this dvd makes the prospect of exercise bearable!!
ITS A GOOD BUY :)

WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I started this workout 3 weeks ago alongside the charlie brooks workout (by the same trainer Dee Thresher) and I must say already I am felling my body more toned stonger and firm in all area- thighs,hips and waist(yet to tone my stomach though!!!!but after 2 children I doubt this will happen over night). As yet I dont think anyone else has noticed a difference but I certainly have, I have tried the gym and running too but I feel the interval training in this dvd works better for my body, it's a combination of cardio and tonning exercises which are really intense but work well to get you in to shape fast. The gret thing with this workout is that the sections are longer which make you push yourself that extra 5 mins, the only downside to the dvd as majority of people have pointed out is the fact that it has virtually a non existant cool down, the ab section is very rushed and not intense enough.
The workout is full with great music that really keeps you going, natalie is really sweet and makes you laugh at her witty comments. It is obvious she has had to work hard to get her body as she looks absolutely great.
The trainer Dee is fab too, I feel she explains everything well dispite comments from other people I think she does a great job. It may not be a workout for total beginners but as Dee says she can keep it low if you like.
I have started out at 11st on 1st May, and I have set myself the challenge of loosing at least a stone before July. I will do another weigh in on the 1st June and see how much I have lost!!!! will keep you guys updated on my progress.................

A fun but fast workout

Loved this workout, it was a lot of fun but hard work if you put the effort in (I'm 52 and work out regularly). Dee Thresher is brilliant; she has lots of energy and enthusiasm and really motivates. Some people might find some of the moves a bit complicated because it goes at a fast pace but I soon got the hang of it. It would have been nice to have had a slightly longer crunch section and a separate cool down but that's my only criticism.
