GH just welcomed back a doctor we’ve all missed!
General Hospital has always had dozens of beloved characters on the canvas, but the April 4, 2024 episode welcomed back someone who has been well missed by fans.
Paging Dr. Terry Randolph
Now that Tracy (Jane Eliott) finally had her free checkup — something Stella (Vernee Watson) nagged her to do — she arrived at the hospital for her appointment with Terry (Cassandra James, who had a lot of pride about this). Dr. Randolph, as part of Tracy’s checkup, Terry covered all the bases, asking about not just her physical health, but also her mental health.
Terry later met with Laura (Genie Francis) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who hoped to get the Co-Chief of Staff to sign off on a new contract that puts Port Charles employees on GH’s health plan.
Where, Oh Where, Has Terry Been?
Seeing Terry on screen was a sight for sore eyes for a lot of fans after she hasn’t been on the show since November. The actress recently revealed on Threads that she returned to set after a nearly six-month break, sharing, “Choosing gratitude because I know most actors have waited longer.”
Terry’s most recent storyline involved her growing romance with the Quartermaine bodyguard Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi). James joined GH in 2018 and made history as the first transgender woman to portray a transgender female character on the show and was widely accepted by the show’s audience.
