Hi! I'm Nancy Hendrickson, an Amazon bestselling author based in San Diego, California. I combine my passion for Tarot, genealogy, and history into books, courses, and presentations.
Among my books are Ancestral Tarot, the Unofficial Guide to Ancestry.com, and Historic Photos of Old California.
When not writing, I'm traveling the back roads of the frontier west, taking notes and photographs for future projects. Visit my site at http://sageandshadow.com to learn more about my books, courses, and presentations.

Genealogy is not my favorite hobby, but got a bit interested and in reading this book, I rediscovered computer skills and cleaned up my desktop and got a bit better at doing searches with "operators." Read the book, it is well worth it.
Watched You tube videos she recommended and more on my own, and discovered more about own personal family history from a family member's family tree.
In essence, one gets more efficient and more aware of what is available online like databases and blogs, and how to go about discovering your roots with this book.
Can't imagine starting family history searches without an idea of what you are doing and having specific goals. One of mine was proof-documentation and cross-referencing. This book is helpful indeed.
If you haven't discovered Nancy Hendrickson's book then by all means invest in a copy. It will not disappoint you. This book belongs on every genealogist's book shelf.
