B&B, DAYS, GH and Y&R mashup with Michelle Stafford, Nancy Lee Grahn, Scott Clifton and Stephen Nichols gallery shots

Soap opera crossovers are always exciting, especially when they jump across networks! One Life to Live and All My Children may no longer be on, but their characters are still visiting General Hospital. The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless hop back and forth all the time including just this past week! And though Days of Our Lives hasn’t really had any crossovers for some time, they did mention that Another World’s (and As the World Turns’) Cass Winthrop was in town a little while back!

Now, we’re bracing for a crossover of another type, but which is even bigger than we could imagine. Because General Hospital‘s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) is bringing actors together from all four daytime dramas currently on the air for a great cause! The actress is raising money for ALS ONE, an organization that creates a partnership for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as ALS and Lou Gehrig’s disease) research and care.

Check out her video below which has a slew of daytime folks announcing, “I’ll be there,” at Daytime Unites for an entire day worth of soapy excitement.

General Hospital fans surely noticed Gregory Harrison in the mix, which is not surprising at all, seeing as Finn and Chase’s father, Gregory, has been battling ALS. But the actors in the video are far from the only ones making an appearance, with the likes of Days of Our Lives’ Stephen Nichols (Steve) and Bold & Beautiful‘s Scott Clifton (Liam) joining in on the fun from Q&As, meet and greats, and a night of performances and music with East Bay Soul. Check out the Daytime Unites website for a full list of activities, actors and links to buy tickets and book your hotel stay!

Grahn explains that the idea for this started during the pandemic zoom events she held with fans, which gave her the chance to get to know Michelle Strojny (who you met in the video above), who was diagnosed with ALS back in 2018. “I’ve learned a lot from her since our first meeting,” Grahn shares on the Daytime Unites page. “One of those things is that ALS is not incurable. It’s underfunded.” So Grahn decided to gather some of her famous friends and do what she could to help raise money and correct that underfunding!

The event is just under a month away on Saturday, May 4, so get your tickets while you can! And if you can’t make it, we’re sure ALS ONE will also appreciate any donation you can afford.
