What a wonderful afternoon! We organised directly with the mud pools and Pastor Tom came to pick us up from our hotel. We visited the local village, which was a privilege and then headed over to the mud pools and hot springs. Our guide was so attentive as we were a bit nervous and it was raining a bit. She was such a good photographer using my phone and we came away feeling so looked after. Thank you. The ladies of the village had the most beautiful jewellery to buy on offer at excellent prices (bring lots of cash to buy presents to take home) and then the massages by the village ladies were lovely. AND Dad got to have a cup to tea with the village ladies too! Pastor Tom never rushed us and was ready when we were. An experience we will never forget. Thank you to the whole team and village. Definitely recommend booking direct through their website or by calling so as to get a personalised experience.

Fantastic day out
We really enjoyed this experience.
There was a large group of us (ages 12-50)
All thoroughly enjoyed the mud pools & hot springs.
We organised this visit ourselves privately.
It wasn’t busy there & we enjoyed a relaxing morning.

This was such a unique experience and one that allowed us to see some of the different cultural and scenic aspects of Fiji, beyond the resort experience. As well as the mud pool and hot spring, we visited first landing Fijian village, the Temple, Garden of the Sleeping Giant and stopped for a yummy fish and chip lunch along the way. It was a very warm day but the bus was air conditioned and our guide, Mukesh Krishna had freshly picked coconuts for us all. He was also very knowledgeable about the Fijian land and culture and was friendly and accomodating! Recommend this tour is you are interested in learning and experiencing new things!

This was a good bit of fun but you need to be careful going into clean off pools as no signs and cut feet going in to one of them as rocks on the bottom. Very basic set up but again good bit of hour fun. You’re really just putting mud out of a bucket onto yourself allowing it to dry and then washing it off in different water pools

We had such a great time at the mud pool and hot springs thanks in part to our wonderful guide Milli who taught us about the mud and springs. Milli also offered to and took photos of our whole experience which we’re lucky to look back now at share with others. The gift shopping is also fantastic and really well priced with funds going directly to the local village. After you lather the mud and wait for it to dry you move through a series of different pools fed by the local spring, with all at different temperatures - the last one is hot! Vinaka Milli - it was a great experience we’ll share with others.

Highly recommend. Went as a couple. Booked online which included private hotel transfer from Denaru resort. Professional setup. Guide took lots of photos while we got our mud on as well as in the springs. Pregnant wife couldn't stay long in the hot springs but still enjoyed. Bonus - small stalls setup provided a variety of souvenirs at very reasonable prices. Stayed for 1.5hrs. Would go again, probably in a bigger group.

I am not sure of the opening time but when we got there somewhere around midday there was no there..
We had the spring to ourselves also the massage hut.
Not long after a few others came along
can I only go to hotsprings pool only?
and is there any swimwear to buy as I haven't got any...

I don't see why you couldn't just pay and go straight into the hot spring? The reception sells bottles of water only no shops around for swimwear. I'd wear an old t-shirt and shorts 😊

You can drive there, although the road isn't great. Don't know if they are open on Easter.
