The Mind of Game writes - "Before I get into this editorial/rant, let me set the record straight. I absolutely, positively do not hate Sony itself or the PlayStation brand. I do not blame Sony for the actions of the people who have chosen to stand behind them. I have nothing against the PlayStation brand and I honestly believe that Sony is doing great things with their stable of consoles and handhelds.

Their fanboys on the other hand? They are among the most illogical, irrational, arrogant and all around idiotic group of people I have ever come across. In the past five years of going to various forums and just being in tune with the internet in general as it relates to gaming, I've come across just about every type of fanboy you can think of. Microsoft fanboys, Nintendo fanboys, Apple fanboys, even Sega fanboys and none of them, without exception, can compare to Sony fanboys in terms of sheer annoyance."

It all depends on where you hang out.

I'm sure ratios are different depending on what site you go to. I hang out on Gamespot too and find 360 fanboys much more vocal there than here. Fanboys are all bad. Saying one is worst than the other isn't a good resolution, it only adds to the fire.

I find that with Sony fanboys they are simply more vocal because they have more to make up for: their console is in last place and they are trying to take pride in Sony outselling and their games out-performing the competition. Sony fans have taken a beating: last gen the PS2 dominated and this year its much different. It's only natural to expect Sony fanboys to be more headstrong. Imagine the retaliation by 360 fanboys when/if PS3 outsells 360. Just look at how 360 fanboys today react to games like God of War 3.

Personally I really don't care what the hell happens to the industry and its companies. I find that trying to take some sort of pride in a piece of plastic or some company only leads to being dishonest with your thoughts: People who own a system are so insecure about the other fanboy group saying something to tarnish their console's image that they aren't even willing to be open and honest with their console themselves. You will never hear a PS3 owner say something bad about the PS3 because he fears being called a 360 fanboy in disguise and vice versa. To hell with all that-- I will criticize anything and everything as long as I have a good reason. Unfortunately people are so mindful of the image of their console that they take any criticism as bad. An Xbox fan will defend Halo to the death and a Playstation fan will defend graphics as if it means everything. I am sure that even fanboys dislike something from their console and wish for something from the opposite console but will never admit it because of the amount of hostility.

Are you aware of how many flamebait PS3 articles get approved or how garbage generally gets approved anyway? The approval system is totally flawed. The article has a flamebait title but I think that the author does a decent job making an argument. I just don't agree with him that one side is "worse" than the other, but I do think, depending on where you go one side tends to be more vocal or dominate more.

lol you wanna know how this isn't true, they have done over 3 articles trying to explain y. While there hasn't been any of the 360, y ? because every 1 knows the real truth lol. You just have to come to n4g and see those multiple accounts and those swears kids say to try and get their delusional points across. They are so dedicated that they make even more accounts with spoilers and waste their time sending PM's to everyone telling them the spoilers. Now thats real dedication.

Honestly, Sony fans aren't the only ones doing this. 360 fans do this as well. Wii fans would do this too if they weren't adolescent. To single out just Playstation fanboys is blatant bias, and honestly when I read the title it was pretty funny and obvious.

But I honestly, truthfully believe that MS fanboys are the most deluded, blind fanboys that I have ever witnessed (and this is being written by a person whose history with fanboys started within the NES generation). The MS execs themselves are a showpiece of the kind of delusionism the MS fanboy crowd displays on a regular basis.

All you have to do is referrence back to the article submitted yesterday of Aaron Greenburg making such ludicrous statements as FFXIII proving the Xbox 360's power and Xbox being the most powerful gaming console on the market. Anyone with a shred of reasoning and logic could see that those statements are consistantly proven not to be rooted in reality.

EPIC FAIL right there, kid I was on the internet when mommy was wiping your butt and obviously explains why you feel Sony fanboys are the worst of the bunch.

uhm you don't find 360 fanboys in droves here because they got run out of the town called N4G. People who complain about PS3 fans OBVIOUSLY weren't here at the start of this console generation. We told all the 360 trolls back then that their PS3 bashing party wouldn't last forever to which in turn they just laughed and ridiculed us. Payback is a biotch huh?

Sony fanboys express their enthusiasm by hating on the 360. They spend as much time hating on the 360 as talking about the PS3.

360 fanboys express their enthusiasm by being enthusiastic of the 360.

Sums it up.

@anoexorcist: I disagreed but didnt anwser simply because damn!! I mean do I even need to say why I disagreed? Sometimes BS is simply BS and doesnt need an answer.
