- jenna fBelleville, Canada86 contributionsOverall, an easy visit with some minor complaints. We didn’t care for the layout to get to some exhibits, you can easily miss a few things (stingrays). We took our 2.5 year old, we happened to be there while a class trip was also happening. Hard to avoid something like that but the kids mowed down our toddler.
This would be great if your visiting and the weather isnt great, need a break from the beach, etc. We went as it opened.Written March 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - madhuparna2016Boston, MA9 contributionsReally fabulous and we enjoyed a lot. We took the 7: 30 ish pm sunset one and it was sun setting on one side over the city and full moon rise on the other side over the ocean, very beautiful.Written March 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elisa TWoodbury, CT2 contributionsTook a girls trip to Myrtle Beach and we went to the beach everyday. We booked an Airbnb right across the street from Ocean Blvd, the walk was quick and convenient. The beach was beautiful and clean. Perfect view of the sunrise and sunset.Written May 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paul ASweetwater, TN16 contributionsFull hook up sites are terrible. We’ve camped in a lot of places, but by far this was the worst in terms of a full hook up, set up. The sewer pipe is really high off the ground. That means, we couldn’t let gravity do the work to offload our black and gray tanks. They had to be nursed through the hose. Not fun. I didn’t notice any sites throughout the campground where the sewer hose was flush with the Earth to allow for gravity. It sure seems like a design flaw to me.
Otherwise, the campground was great, wooded, quiet, and very close to the beach.Written March 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Hollywood Wax Museum was wonderful! They even had props at each celebrity so you could take pictures. My family had a great time!Written May 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 🥳 🎉 🥳 Keep Life Simple 🥳🎉🥳Pittsburgh, PA94,361 contributionsThe boardwalk is mostly cement. Many also are confusing the pier with the boardwalk. - Robyn NRaleigh, NC4 contributionsMy husband and I went here on our way down to our hotel in Myrtle Beach with his parents and our son (almost 4). Everybody had a great time! Love that they have a wooden, 2-step step stool for little ones. The building is air conditioned and there are bathrooms, which we appreciated. We stayed most a full hour and had a blast! Our only complaint is that it was a little loud inside, so if you want to talk to people in your group, you're going to have to yell a bit, but it wasn't a problem as everyone was really involved in the games.Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RICART75Peru, IN2,217 contributionsWe usually like to explore this area at least once each year, when we visit Myrtle Beach.
It's an ilnteresting counterpoint to the more overtly touristy and kitschy parts of the area (not better, in that kitschy has its own charm....just a bit more subdued).
It's a comfortable place to browse; with a variety of shops, restaurants and temptations from which to choose (we tend to succumb to Uncommon Chocolatier, Coldstone Creamery, etc.).
There are also nearby paths and open spaces, offering even more of a relaxing atmosphere. Being we were there mid-week, off-season; everywhere was quite laid-back.
All and all, a nicely envisioned community; well worth a visit.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
