Always a fabulous experience. Management at La Bonne Table has made up their minds to stay the course of the tried and true French Bistro, in which the same offerings typically grace the menu day in and day out, executed with expertise, style and modesty. This decision and the passion they bring to the process, has enabled them to exceed the result of most French bistros - stellar dishes every time. Understated and highly competent service. This is a true civic gem in the city of SD.

We celebrated our anniversary. They started us with a complimentary glass of champagne. The escargot and house-made pate were delicious starters. My husband's duck confit was tender and tasty and full of flavor. My trout almandine was scrumptious accompaied by aspargus. The Cote du Rhone, Chablis, and Kir were excellent companions to the food. The crepe suzette was a grand finale!

Always an outstanding meal, with attentive (but not overbearing) wait staff, exquisite cuisine (ohh, the duck confit!), and small bistro feel. Can't wait to return. ATBster
