Small theater in playing the Korean Film, "Alongs the gods: The Two worlds"
Luckily there were subtitle in the film, its an enjoyable film. I think the show that I attended was getting closed to sold out. Since there weren't much seat left in the theater.
Although the ticket office didn't bother to come in to tell the movie goers to moved over so people can sit together. Quite unlike the Star Wars movies. Oh wait, it is a different theater all together - Regal Theater. - 46245Apr 4, 2024
Luckily we enjoyed the movie because it distracted from the unfriendly staff and horrendously uncomfortable seats.

It's been years since my last visit here. Went in with friends to catch a chick flick and was slightly disappointed in the setup of the theater. I guess I've been spoiled where I come from because this theater needs some major updating!
I've gotten used to the reclining seats with the sliding table tops for your snacks and drinks. You'll only find cup holders here. I'm not sure if all the theaters in here are like that, but it is time to step it up. The whole mall is going throughout renovations, so hopefully, AMC will get to it, also.
Prices are average for movies nowadays, along with the usual snacks you'd find at any other theater. The plus is that they do have a bar that serves up alcohol. I didn't get anything, but there was a sign saying they were closed on our way out. It was around 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, but they looked to be serving people. Maybe they just forgot to take the sign down.
It's not my first choice to watch a movie, but if you're shopping and happen to be here, it's not horrible, either. Maybe when I come back, they'll have a new look.Helpful 12Thanks 2Love this 6Oh no 0 - Dec 3, 2023
Let me start off by saying that part of me loved that this AMC still felt like the early 2000s. It's like a time capsule of when theaters were designed with theming in mind, not a cookie cutter look. That being said, the auditoriums are in desperate need of an upgrade. Size , seats, sound and picture are about 10-15 years out of date by this point. On a positive it was clean and the employees were nice. It's bring run on a shoestring staff level just like most theaters these days so be prepared to struggle to find someone on some nights.

I'm an A-list member, and I only go here for movies that have limited showings.
The following are the negatives:
1. The chairs are smaller and do not recline; while the cupholders can barely hold your drinks in place.
2. Most of the screens are small, especially the ones in the dungeon (bottom floor).
3. Parking can be difficult during the weekends.
So, to counter the majority of the above negatives, I visit this location on weeknights to avoid the crowds, I sit closer to the screen for a wider view, and I don't order a large drink :)
The service here is decent. The lines are generally long at the concessions; therefore, I order ahead on their app for express pick-up, and an employee usually assists me immediately.
Tonight, I've splurged and got Dom's Charger from Fast X, which opens up to hold popcorn! This cost $49.99 and includes a large popcorn, but this collectible is already going for $80 - $100 on Ebay. On AMC's website, this cost the same, but you have to pay $15.95 for shipping.
Last week, I got the gourmet popcorn duo for $11.89...
Caramel popcorn: was slightly crispy, warm, and sweet. I'd get this again, 8/10 rating.
The Oreo popcorn: was sweeter, especially with the oreo cookie pieces that were mixed in. I got tired of the sweetness after about a half cup in, but ended up finishing the rest within 3 days. I kept the leftovers stored in a zip lock bag. 7.5/10 rating.
I recommend that you pair one of these dessert popcorn with the plain buttered popcorn in order to enjoy the contrast of sweet & savory flavors.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 2, 2023
This is my go-to theatre in the FV/MV area in san diego, because it is clean, and seats are comfortable. Concession stand has a variety of options.
The seats has a leather feel to it, looks fairly new; I just wish it reclines.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Leslie P.San Diego, CA312423Mar 21, 2024

I've been here several times and it's a good theater! Wish it had recling seats like other AMCs, and it's inconvenient that some of the theater rooms requiring 2 escalators to get to. Today one of the escalators was broken, so it was not convenient to have to trek especially because someone in our group has an injury.
Standard movie theater food, nothing great. Sound and screen quality is good with comfy seats.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 1, 2023Updated review8 check-ins
Their auditoriums were much smaller, the screen also smaller, the seats are closer but much cleaner, they're all leather compared to AMC Mission Valley, 2 escalators down you got plenty of rooms, the crew made sure everything well organized and zero trashes
Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0Mar 25, 2022Previous reviewIt was a smaller AMC with smaller auditoriums, but variety wise, they had more options besides big blockbusters, they showed a lot of foreign films from China, India, Japan, Korea and more you name it.
It wasn't my first time coming here thru the years attending all the screenings, Q&A, etc which made me really missed that time way back when. At least they still host Latino Film Festival here every year which I missed the last 3 years, but so many memories. I needed to come here again more often, I like the parking access from the roof where you could just walk across the bridge and the theater was located right there, although it wouldn't be ideal when it come to a premier night where people started to line up and the food court and the parking lot started to get filled up, well I did miss when everything was normal
