I remember this movie I watched on Sky [analogue] in the 1990's some time ago. Might be a TV movie. No big stars I don't think [could be wrong though]
I remember a few things but not much plot, here's what I remember:
The protagonist is a young girl in her late teens/early 20's I think. She's pretty bored because she lives with her mother.
She hangs out by this lake.
They live in this hotel with one or two staff, it's quite isolated.
It's summer, it's hot, lot's of orange and yellow I think.
I think the girl was blonde, wore quite loose fitting short dresses I seem to remember.
The mother arranges for some extra help so she hires this guy who is older.
Things get a bit steamy between the daughter,mother and guy I think. A few tensions arise and I think the girl is tired of living with her mother
Then I seem to remember the girl moving out and going to the city or something in this apartment block
That's where my memory of the plot fades out.
Please help, I'd like to hunt it down, but completely forgot the name of it.
I'm looking for 2 movies:
first– The scene I remember shows a Civil War officer, possibly in the fog, shooting or stabbing wounded soldiers after a battle, while humming, whistling, or singing – I think the song was rock of ages. It may have been an opening scene, setting background for the movie.
Second – Looking for an American War movie – I saw it on TV in the early 70's – Could be black& white – we may not of had a color TV at the time.
Could either be WWII with Japanese as the bad guys or Korean War. I only remember a few scenes.
One – the squad was dug in on top of a hill or ridge and being overrun. They dug holes and covered them – hiding inside.
Two – they were going around a hill on a road and there was a camoflaged tank that they had to take out.
Three – at the end the survivors were walking down the road towards their own lines or back to base.

Hi again. There's this one movie I watched in the 80's in this one scene a non-American is in a NY taxi, and the taxi driver mentions that he's an "American," but he looks and speaks English with a strong Iranian/Pakistanian/Indian(??) accent, and obvious the driver just "became" an US citizen. I watched this movie in Japan (in English with Japanese subtitles) with a Japanese friend. I was the only one in the movie theater that laughed at this scene (I was asked later on why I laughed at that particular scene after the movie was over). I was so sure it was Crocodile Dundee, but watching the movie years later, that particular scene is not in it. I KNOW I didn't make it up....can anyone help me? Thanks.

Another movie that i've been looking voor a very long time is a fairytale which i think is from the 70s/80s which i saw when i was very young. The story is about a princess who only marries if her suitor knows the answer to her riddle. If he doesn't know he'll be turned to stone. There was a scene which they showed the previous suitors of the princess as statues in the garden. I remember vaguely that there was one suitor, (a prince maybe) who knew the answer and the face of the princess turns pale or something before returning to nomal when he indeed gives the right answer. Like a fairytale it all ends well.
It might not even be an original English movie maybe dubbed even because the sound wasn't much in sync with the picture.
I've posted this on another site some time ago and someone pointed out that it has similarities with the opera Princess Turandot and/or 1001 Arabian nights. Though searching on IMDB has not brought me closer to an answer. Maybe the movie is loosely based on the abovementioned sources because as i can remember it, it was not a scene for scene adaptation from the book/opera to the screen.
And i like to stress that it has no singing. So it's no musical, no opera on stage that has been filmed for TV. And as far as i'm concerned is not part of a tvseries (for example Shelly Duvall's Fairytale theatre).
I hope someone can help me with this.
Hi everybody, I had a look at Google and cant find the movie that I trying to remember its name.
I watch this movie when child, I am 38 now, so is a old movie (maybe 30 to 40 years old) but in colour.
I barely remenber the full history but what I can remember is a chase of 2 or 3 children (siblings? not sure) by a murder with a tattoo on his wrist, peharps was filmed in britain but not sure. They travel arround the country and every time the murder is closed and trying to get the children. I do not remember the exact motivation of the chase but I think it is because the children have testemoned a crime.

There, he start doing several gaffes and the last one was start the automation system of the house opening a pool and people falled into the water. After that a big pool party take place instead the posh one.

I'm trying to remember the name of this movie. From what I remember, an American girl moves to this house that I believe is her step father's or something. She starts seeing things and I think her little brother is effected. Comes to find out that the grandfather was some kind of Dr that did experiments on kids. There was this movie that I can't seem to find no matter how much I describe and relate it. Well, it is a bit of a tragic movie. It takes place in the early to mid 90s, in a city in the USA, probably the east end cities like New York or Chicago. The movie took place in what looked like late summer, and fall, seeming to get colder to the end. The protagonist is a young blonde woman, late 20s-early 30s, who meets up with a lady friend, and then seems to be more alone for the rest of the movie. This blonde lady goes to a movie theatre alone and there a strange man (about her age) begins to touch her sexually, which she allows, to the point where he gives her oral sex. After the movie this man tries to speak to her, to which she dismisses these further advances. She seems to just go with the moment, and is a bit impassive though friendly and naive. There is a scene where she is in a cafe and tries to get a meal on tab, but the clerk (a man), a bit meanly, tells her she has no credit. The blonde lady encounters an old black fellow on a park bench, and he tells her how pretty she is, and says he wishes he was young again, which inwardly flatters her a bit it seems. She begins to lose weight and get thin, apparently, and she starts to wear this white headscarf over her head. The movie ends with this lady trying to see if she can spot the old black fellow on the park bench, but he is no longer there. The movie closes with her on this bench, gaunt and cold, and one may presume the lass dies.

So I watched part of this movie on a Qantas flight between London, England and Sydney, Australia in either December 2002/January 2003 or December 2004/January 2005.
Early on in the film, it may have even been the first scene of the film, a girl and her boyfriend are getting it on in the family pool, when they are caught by her mother.
I can't remember any of the actors or actresses in it, but I'm pretty sure it's set in the USA, possibly in California.

The information: well basically it's a horror film I think, and in obe of the scenes a women who rips out a guys heart, the scene looks like they were in a cave of some sort I think which was filled with a lot of treasures. Before he went in the cave, he came into a room filled with women, but having what I "think" are fat sumo wrestlers as a pet, or the women were teasing them.
Sorry that's all I remember, someone please help me find what that film is called please! I watched it on tv, I think it was only a tv film, since it looked quite old.

I watched it couple of years ago and don't remember it so well. Can't remember actors, director, but it could be released in 90s end or 2000. It's not very new movie i guess.
From movie i remember scenes where friends went to the party together. And in middle of the party one of the friends overdosed i guess, and died. then in funeral his girlfriend was at her room smoking cigarettes and one of these guys climbed in to her room by window. Also afterwards they were going away from town, like runaway, because this kid took off from his home. They stopped at hotel and there they slept together. But after that the girl got back home. At the end of movie as i can remember the guy locked in the bathroom at this girls house, and i'm not sure, but i remember that he stabbed himself with scisscors.
That is all that i remember from this movie, and i want to watch it again. Could you help me?

The movie i'm looking for is one i haven't seen, just the trailer.
It should be a modern movie from 2009 because i saw the trailer in that year at the cinema. It might be also a 3D movie, not sure at all.
It's about a guy (like 17 y/o) who is always daydreaming as if he was climbing on high places like rocks, buildings. Daydreaming happens to him also in school, and while he sees himself on skyscrapers, he is practically climbing on the banches.
What one actually sees on the screen is very similar to Spiderman, but the story is the one i described.

The get in All kind of trouble, where they have to sing to make people stand still, so that they cant change the situation or escape.

I really need help with this movie, i remember everything about it so clearly except for the name of the title and the actors! Helpful right?
So it is a movie made between the 1950-60's in colour and it is about a female teacher in America who was about to be fired from her school for giving her students an inappropriate book to read. Instead she quits and decides to move to France (i think, could be Italy). On the ship to France she meets an Italian man whom her parents asked to take care of her, instead she finds another man, a doctor, who she thought was the man her parents told her about. Both men instantly fall for the lady and this begins a love triangle. They all get off the ship together and stay at the Italian's man mansion. The italian man pursues the lady, but she is more interested in the doctor.
Amongst that she finds a job in a small book store, where she works with the store's owner and the owners very big fluffy dog. Her and the doctor then begin to date and fall deeply in love whilst they travel around France/Italy together.
Though one day together they meet the doctors ex girlfriend who is everything the young lady wants to be, she is an older, glamourous woman who is very confident and ensures the young lady that she and the doctor will get back together.
I'm not sure, but i think the doctor does get back together with his ex or just stops spending time with the young lady. So she gets upset and decides to move back to America with her parents. The movie ends with the young lady getting off the ship back in America, only to have the doctor greet her with a big bunch of flowers.
i know this is a lot of information, and I'm not sure if its 100% correct, but thats pretty much the jist of it. I loved this movie so much and would be really grateful if anyone has any idea what it could be called?

I am also trying to find the name of a movie released in the 80s, if not mistaken.
I saw it as a child and the only thing that I remember is that there was a guy blowing poisoned arrows through a small pipe to people causing their fears to come alive and in some cases, eventually kill them.
In particular, I remember a scene where the the arrow was blown to a kid that was eating too many sweets and the cakes came alive in his hallucinations haunting him down. In another case, I remember a man walking in a store with antiques and stuff from around the world and the objects in the store (ie. dragon statues) came alive in his hallucinative moment.
Any help would be much appreciative!!! I am looking for that name for such a long time

My first post here. I have 3 monster films that I really would like to know their names. I hope you don't mind I'm listing them all in this 1 post:
(1) Film release (guess): late 80's, early 90's. I think there was a scientist living in a house near a graveyard. There was a scene where the replaceable container of the water dispenser suddenly was filled with blood. And there was an in-door scene where the scientist's throat was ripped out by a humanoid creature. I think there was a child witnessing this throat ripping scene.
(2) Film release (guess): early 2000's. Rats in a building became mutants after eating from chemical leaks from the upper floors. There were teenagers partying in the building. Final scenes involved bear-size rats.
(3) Film release (guess): mid 90's. There was a ship full of young people and some were infected with a disease coming from some monster fish. The disease caused vomits, disgusting parts coming out of human orifices, and eventually turned the infected into monsters. There was a scene when an infected girl slept with an uninfected boy, infecting him or killing him right after/during coitus.

Have tried this one before – can anyone help?
We saw a movie in the 90's set on a Mediterranian island, probably Italian. It was quite old maybe 1950's and maybe B&W. The theme was a young girl about 10 wanting to get a particular present (yellow flowers?) for her mothers birthday, and she travelled all over the island going from shop to market looking for this present.
I think she was reported missing and then her father realised it was his wifes birthday.
It was a delightful movie but there was one creepy part that didnt fit in.
The girl was walking down the road when she met a man about 20. She said something about not talking to strangers and he said "well my names ___ whats yours?" and then "so now we're not strangers so you can come with me" ...
A car comes alone and she is safe. As I said this part was memorable as it just didnt fit in with the rest.
If anyone can identify this movie I would appreciate it.

Because you mention an older guy with younger girl and the tension with the mother, i keep thinking about the remake of Lolita (1997) with Jeremy Irons. But that's probably not it.

A young rich boy was travelling in his black limo and a young girl was riding her bicycle ahead on the same street (both looks like school kids and knew each other). When the limo reaches the bicycle the chauffeur was instructed to hit her lightly.
After this incident the boy rolls down his window and offers her a ride. The chauffeur gets down and to put the bicycle in the boot but just throws it away.
She joins him in the back seat and they talks a while. Then they starts having sex while there were two other girls along with the driver in the front who looks at each other and smiles ... that's when the credit starts rolling....

Hi, I am searching for one horror film from 80's probably.
At the beginning woman escapes from psychiatric hospital and shows up at her son's house. They didn't know she was in hospital, and after a while his wife finds his mothers hospital clothes... and then horror begins.

The movie I am trying to remember is very similar to the move chronical that came out recently, except this was released first. I would say sometime after 2000 (sorry for being vague on date)
All I remember is that 3 teenagers, 2 females and 1 male, find a strange glowing thing in a forest and when they stand on it they get special powers. One of the females gets the ability to levitate, the male gets the ability to heal and the last female gets the ability to control people with her voice.
1 clip I remember that may help is in the end the female that can control people goes bad and makes the female that can levitate to float off the roof of the school then fall. But when she tries to effect the guy who can heal he has made himself deaf so he can't hear her voice making ti so she can't control him.

the movie that I remembered watching when I was a kid, a 80's or 90's kind of movie. i don't really remember it that much except for the opening segment. There were people digging up a coffin and inside it was a man holding a book to his chest and it's title is MERLIN. I also remembered some of part of the movie wherein there's a lot of animation. There's also a part where a girl puts melted candle wax on a man's drink.
Hope you can help me.. I've been searching for this movie for a long time now... :)
This is a film which I saw at the drive-in in about the 70s or early 80s. I actually remember very little about it. Can't recall if this film was the main feature or a short film that appeared before the main feature.
Anyway, it looks like it was filmed on the North American continent deep in the woods – pine trees etc – far from civilisation. There were these two guys living in the woods. I have a feeling that these two guys were living apart but within the same woods (not exactly sure about that) and that occasionally they would meet up and converse. At least one of them may have lived in a log cabin. I remember one guy telling the other guy not to hang up meat as that would attract bears.
The basic premise of this film was that there was some kind of animal in the woods hunting these people. It was rarely seen though. I can't even remember what kind of animal it was. I'm pretty sure that it wasn't a bear. If I remember right, I think the animal was a fictional creation – something like the sasquash / big foot etc.
I actually saw another film (about the sasquash / abominable snowman) at the drive-in close to the same time period. This other film was larger in scale and if I recall, big foot was in a deep sleep of some kind in the snow and people were trying to revive him. I vaguely recall a helicopter or two being used to transport big foot.

Hi. I'm trying to find name of movie I saw when I was a kid. It was about a (just 1) large diamond. Things I remember: the main character was a criminal relating to jewels. He was an expert diamond cutter. He somehow gets involved in stealing the large diamond but doesn't want the bad guys to have it. Towards the end of the movie they end up at an airport where he switches the real diamond out for a fake one that's just a huge chunk glue. The movie ends with the main character (who's wearing a disguise) cutting the real diamond while sitting in a room with lots of onlookers. I'm very sure the movie is from the late 80's early 90's and the settings were current for that time.
So i kinda remember this tv movie, late 1990's maybe early 2000's. Loosely remake of the movie Picnic with Kim Novak. Handsome drifter comes into a small mid-west american farming town falls for the town beauty queen, he leaves and she realizing she loves him follows him. I can only remember one scene of the movie or tv show I'm thinking of. It was towards the end of it, and I'm fairly sure it was some kind of a detective show. It shows a young woman, dressed in white, up in a tower, I think it's light house. she is tied to a chair, and she is about to be strangled with a belt or rope by a man standing behind her. I seem to remember that the reason he's strangling her has something to do with a legend about strangling virgins at midnight every so many years. people are racing up the spiral staircase to save her, which they do. if anyone knows what tv show or movie this is, please reply! thanks!
Hi I've been searching for 2 movies, one is a repost from a while ago
the first one was about a girl who was murderer. I remember that she was having a sleepover with a boy and a girl, the last two were siblings i think, they were going to sleep in a thing i think they called it the "fort" i may be wrong, the thing is that the boy was supossed to close the backyard door but it didn't close completely, the next morning, I think it was the other girl, found the body. a lot of things happen and a psychiatric talks to the boy and tries to figures out if he killed her and the boy then believes he killed the girl but at the end nobody knows if he did because he was traumatized when he arrived to the psychiatric office and his memories changed acording to what the psychiatric said.
The second one is about two kids, a boy and a girl (I think her name was rocky? might be wrong tho) who try to rob a bank. I remember there was a guy in a wheelchair. I saw it some years ago so I can't remember all the details. at the end the two kids exit the bank and outside the cops where waiting for them and the boy tries to take something from his pocket and a cop shoots him thinking he had a gun but it was only a flower
Movie from the mid to late 80's about a man who can dowse; specifically sense an object's history. He works for a museum to help identify real vs fakes and get more history but his slick friend (Eugene Levy, kind of slick) keeps getting him to dowse people's wallets, rings, etc. This ability plays havoc on his love life when he finds his girlfriend cheating on him, paving the way for the love interest later on.
The other main character is a young psychic woman who has a spirit guide that keeps interfering with her life.
Somehow, the two end up going to some foreign country (Brazil?) to help find a lost ancient relic from the dawn of mankind, possibly a precursor civilization.

No no, this one was a straight to video type title, maybe even straight to sky/satelite/cable and not as famous. I just can't for the life of me remember the title.
I can just remember them being in the hotel and the hotel's near this lake, the young teen daughter, the older guy who's hired, I think the mother and daughter were fighting over the guy, then later there's some different scenes with this apartment block,but can't remember the end, the girl has a different look. It's all quite seedy and cheesy but I seem to remember the music was quite good... damn, please someone get this one.

This has had me thinking for a while now!! I remember watching this as a kid (mid-late 90's.... Early 00's TOPS). What I remember about it is the main character, female, is atteneding what i THINK is a funeral. Her and a group of kids find a magic lamp which unleashes a monster of some sort and they are all frantically running from it. Relatively sure a magic coin of some sort is involved. Pretty sure at some stage of the movie, one of the characters (female, i think) gets stuck in a blue (or red??) vortex inside the lamp. Also pretty sure that the monster chasing them gets trapped in a vacuum. I also think that during the course of the movie, one of the kids die. Its a childrens movie, not animated.

Anyone remember an animated anti-drug movie that is about a boy who starts using drugs and then is (possibly) killed by a dragon. I think his parents were fighting a lot and a “cool” guy offers the boy some drugs for free. The boy smokes them and sees a dragon. The boy is lonely and the dragon becomes him friend. I think it talks to him. Time passes and the boy gets addicted to the drugs and the dealer starts demanding money. At the end of the movie, the dragon becomes scary and I think the boy dies. I remember it from school in the mid 1990s, but I am not sure when it was made. The animation was good (at least as I remember it), but not anything fancy. I would say the movie was made and set in the 80s or 90s, but I really can’t remember. I do remember that it was actually kind of scary at the time.
I think the dragon was black with red eyes at the end. It was similar to a Chinese dragon. I remember it flying around the boy’s room. I also remember things being smoky a lot. It definitely played on the “chasing the dragon” theme.
I’m not sure, but the movie may have been based on a “real” story. The boy’s parents may have been involved in the making of it.

I've tried to google search and imdb the actor i think i saw but had no luck.
I think it's an asian gangster type of movie.
The movie starts off with a young asian man in a club/bar setting with a chick (escort/girlfriend), he looks rich, has a cane. He looks at the dance floor and there was 2 other chicks dancing and trying to seduce him, and the (escort/girlfriend) immediately makes out with him.
A car then drives up to the club and some men comes out, they went into the club to call the guy home or something.
There was also a 'big black man' which i think is the manager of the club or the bouncer that approached the young man to attempt to kick him out, he then used his cane and some 'kungfu' to take down the black guy. Then he takes his girlfriend and leaves with the men that came in to take him home.
Hope this is enough.

I'm trying to find out the name of a movie that I wasn't supposed to be watching when I was young – I have developed a phobia of water weed from it and hope that by seeing the end of it I might get over the phobia.
I didn't see much of it – I was meant to be in bed so it would have been aired after 8:30pm and it was on tv probably in the second half of the 80's.
A group of teenagers (having just finished school?) had taken a trip. They hadn't told anyone where they were going. They came across a lake with a pontoon in the middle of it and decided to go for a swim. (This lake seems to be in the middle of nowhere but a bushy/forest kind of nowhere). They begin swimming out to the pontoon, as a side shot you see a seaweed-looking-sponge thing also in the water grab(eat) a duck. As the teenagers get to the pontoon they turn around to watch the others. I think the slowest swimmer doesn't make it. I think i remember they are trying to urge the swimmer to go faster because they realize something is wrong? Then the maneating water weed is just hanging around the pontoon and one of the teenagers is poking it, warned to leave it alone, but doesn't and it sends shoots to grab onto their arm and pulls them under the water. Moments later the teens face comes out of the water calling out "help me it hurts" before being dragged back under.
Have done the searches and can't find anything. Help?

FINALLY one that I could answer and somebody beat me to it!
Ok; I'm an oldie looking to find an oldie film. When I was at university I took a film course ...... it was art films for the most part. A lot of European small art films including many avant garde directors including a great deal of Truffaut. I had thought this was a Truffaut film but after going through his filmography I didn't find it. The film I'm looking for was about a French girl who's life was hard and getting harder. She has a relationship and becomes pregnant and then is abandoned. The most identifying feature of the film was the ending. After lots of trauma and emotional turmoil the final scene of the movie is of the girls face and the films' final moment the girls face morphs/transforms into an impressionist painting. The film had been "the back story" of the expression of the girl in the painting.

It was a movie released in the 80's prolly around the same time as Labrynth. Sci-fi creative like labrynth but definetly more adult.
I remember nothing more than one scene.
there is a man (being punished) on a horse backwards with a cover over his head ( berlap bag maybe ) being sent into the desert. the horse keeps going because it has a flask of water dangling in front of it.
I also remeber something about leather wrist straps being soaked with water and tightened then shrinking in the hot sun.

Maybe this is too obvious but it sounds very much like the (pretty awful) Max Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome:

I'm looking for a movie that was probably made in the 80s or early 90s.
First, I know there is a family/couple/friends traveling and they take the wrong turn and they are in a town that shows obvious signs of crime/gang activity. When driving down this road a bunch of guys – thugs/gangsters run up and lick the vehicle's windows and they get freaked out.
Second, I know there's a scene where they get excited to see a police car as they are hiding in a building. One of the guys says don't you know that's not how a cop flashes his lights and he's right it ends up being a bad guys/guys.
Third, I believe somehow they electrocute a puddle of water.
Fourth, I think they set up a trap with matches set on a door inside the building.
I think the end result is the bad guy/guys get lit on fire and fall in the electrocuted puddle (all of this climatic scene happens in an abandoned building) industrial/commercial building. PLEASE HELP :)

Very new to this site, it seemed like everyone who uses it gets great results.
I have a few movies in my head that I saw as a kid (so these would be 1990's films) and i'm totally keen to re watch again, i'll try to describe them as best i can.
1) a group of people are walking through a jungle (possible some sort of alien infestation in the jungle) and a guy bumps into a tree. A small pod thing falls off the tree and hits the guy and he shrugs it off and then about a minute later he is on the ground convulcing with scabs all over him like he just got majorly infected.
2) a movie where a group of sucessful men are playing a virtual game against real life oponents (i think the opponents are criminals). The opponents don't know they are in a virtual world and when they die, they really die, but the other main bad guys keep coming back if they die. Also I think the guys doing the killing would get points per person they killed and there was one guy who shot his team mate to get the points (knowing he wouldn't actually be dead). I would classify this as a western/sci fi/action film.
3) a movie with a bad guy who killed his subbordinates and other people by stabbing them with this weird bottle and draining their body fluid/water so they would just be like a husk. Then he uses it on himself, he must of had something wrong with his body. There was a scene where the bad guy had his second in command kill his third in command, then he turned on his second in command anyway and killed him. Therefore gaining both their fluids.... weird.
This was the best i could do from memory... i've asked other people and googled to no end so i decided to enlist this sites help.

Many years back, i would say approx 10 – 12 years ago i saw a movie that was based around a cursed house. (Im pretty sure its a 90's movie none the less).
The house was owned by a family and centered i believe around a kid.
This kid could see things move in the house. Not specifically ghosts but statues and ( trees cut out as animal shapes would move)
Eventually the whole family saw this too and where driven out of the house, but not sure excatly as it gets foggy after that and in between the story.
The environment was snowy, much like american christmas time.

way less specific but here goes.
All i can remember is, its a foreign film ( SBS type) which only one scene that shocked me the most. This lady is sewing her half self up with sombody elses half. Later in the same scene both their faces are moving independently while they have finished sewing themselves up and are trying to walk around the house.

Am thinking it was a made for tv movie.
Storyline goes.. two friends are driving out and they enter a county where a sheriff pulls them over and bogus charges are made. They are sentenced to a county work facility. The African american is sent with other African Americans and the caucasian girl is sent to be with the other caucasian girl. both working on this like work/farm facility. Having to go work in the fields. Both being told to forget about the other by the other inmates.
It takes some time but the two find a way to plot to try to escape together.

European comedy I watched (almost 20 years ago) as a kid, rented from the video store. Probably filmed in the 70's or 80's. Dutch or Danish or German or something. It was dubbed into English. All I can remember was it was a comedy about a family, a bunch of silly/bad things happened to them to make life difficult. I can remember the son spying on his teenage sister naked through a hole in the bedroom wall until she sprayed his eye with deodourant, the family taking a picnic and getting lost, the husband being in the airforce and an airforce helicopter landing and looking for them, the wife playing a bit of tennis. Thats about it...

It was a terrified group of people that took an exit to ask for directions or something – they were lost. As they were coming off an exit this group of thugs went and licked the window. They freaked out and drive away. That's all I remember really vividly besides the town was really run down with crime, and they got stuck there and they had to get out somehow. No famous actors that I really remember.

All I can remember from the trailer/promo is that a girl goes to some sort of party or rave and this rave is held hostage by some crazed psycho and the police need help finding this place, and the only person who can help them is the guy who escaped.
I think that there was a possible maze or loads of booby traps set by the crazy psycho dude and the guy isn't so keen to help. The girl may also be of some importance. A police or bigwig politican's daughter perhaps?

Ok this is going to be hard because it's a horror movie and the zero tolerance but here it goes. The movie is probably from the early to mid 90's and it had something to do with some teenagers with leather jackets who were demons or something evil. I remember a couple of scenes, in one a boy and a friend are watching the boy's sister change, I think the boyfriend sees them. Theres something about lady cutting some vegetables I think she cuts herself. On one scene the evil guy offers the kid some candy in a car and he starts eating and then notices they are actually worms. Someone died with cards used as weapons. It's weird because I have a lot of information and can't seem to find it. Thank you in advance if you read this!

Hi. I'm trying to find an old black and white movie (50s or 60s) that I have only seen the last half of. A guy who (I think) just got out of the army has gone to a small, isolated midwestern town to deliver something to an army buddy's widow. The whole town is afraid of some kind of gang, but their control is secret – they have to pretend life is normal. The guy crosses them somehow. When I started watching he was driving away, and a car forces him off of the road outside of town. Stranded, waiting for his car to be fixed, he knows that they're coming for him and spends the day hanging out in public places like a diner and a bank so they can't get him alone.
The town mechanic is a girl, her father was killed by the gang boss. Also, the main character gets into a fistfight in the diner with one of the henchmen. It's a really suspenseful movie. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Alright, I have one. I used to know the name but I forgot it. I think it was a late 90s/ early 2000s low-budget, independent (possibly Canadian, I don't remember) movie that revolved around an otherwise normal black haired boy who has a run in with an effeminate, drug abusing male prostitute (or maybe an escort, either or). The movie revolves around their growing friendship and the people they go visit. There's a morbidly obese lady who puts the male prostitute through a photo shoot and before he leaves he takes a picture of her with a pillow over her head. Another scene has the two guys on drugs, doing things on a couch while a middle aged man watches. Ultimately the two stop talking when the prostitute's drug addiction takes over and he ends up losing his grip on reality.
I'm also pretty sure one of the main actor's died not too long after the movie was released. I can't remember any of their names. Any kind of help would be appreciated :D

That's why nobody ever wants the third wheel hanging around. This exact same thing happened to me personally just last week.

All I remember are these plant like creatures with sort of large plates/antennas. They are active when the sun hits them and go dormant when no sun. If I remember rightly the guys in the spaceship turn an aerial? around to block the sun to one of these creatures nearby.

But soon this guy starts loving another black girl in the school and this lady professor gets to know that and try to put false rape allegations.

Hello. I've been trying for ages to find this. It was a French film where this woman starts dating a guy and all is well. He would take trips away and she was fine with that until she starts to notice that each time he went away there would be a murder announced on the news and she would wonder if her boyfriend had anything to do with it. I fell asleep before the end so never got to see the outcome and never got the name of the film. Any help would be much appreciated.

looking for a mid '80s Movie – I believe it was Aussie or Kiwi – A man almost dies and is convinced he is in hell – he discovers that all of his family have problems – the teenage son was a drug dealer, his wife was cheating on him and I think she blows herself up with molotov cocktails. I remember one of his friends is a waiter who gives him advice and a joint – the latter gets him arrested. He also falls in love with a sort of back-to-nature woman – not sure if he dreams that part. Parts of the movie seem surreal.

Hello everyone. Here is a noodle scratcher for you.
Luckily I remember quite a lot of the scenes so someone should be able to piece this together for me. The movie itself seems to be a comedy about ghosts and supernatural stuff, I believe made in the 1980s. The scenes I list might not be in order of appearance:
1) A ghost, whom I believe was a black man when living, is standing at the gravestone of a deceased person. He talks to the grave asking whoever is inside to come out, but there was no reply at first. So he gives it instructions on how to rise up. Soon after another ghost appears who was a Texan man, I assume from his southern accent. He was astonished that what just happened was possible and the black ghost introduced himself to him, a former slave/servant to the Texan's relative who was quite an evil person.
2) Two best friends are in a car, one white and the other black, were on their way somewhere. They arrived at a very big mansion, but can't remember if that was on purpose or accidental due to a car tyre being punctured. Inside they are greeted by two blonde ladies who are dressed like Texan jezebels, and a thick Texan accent also stating that the mansion belongs to their "grandpappy". I think it was revealed that the grandpappy died but was still dwelling in the mansion. The black friend is superstitious about such things while the white guy was skeptical.
Note: Throughout the whole movie the two ghosts mentioned in 1) would keep an eye on the two best friends and intervene to help if they could, as the spirit of the grandpappy was evil and also the one that was the master to the black ghost.
3) The two best friends explore the mansion and come across a secret torture chamber. The white friend came across a book which was actually a manual to how the different torture contraptions worked. As he started to read out aloud what was written, the black friend was inadvertently caught in the various mechanisms, unaware the white friend carried on reading the book/manual. One of the mechanisms was something like a treadmill, and swinging from above the treadmill was these slicing axe like blades. So the black friend had to run on the treadmill while simultaneously avoiding the blades. When he got off that one he wanted to sit down after his forced workout, but the chair he sat on was another torture contraption which wraps around the face rendering him unable to scream for help, and two sledge like hammers would strike down to the groin area in alternating repetition. The black guy had to thrust his hip left to right to avoid his jewels being flattened by the hammers. The white friend finally stops reading, puts the book down and turns around to see his friend strapped to the chair and makes a comment to the point of 'what are you doing on that thing?'.
4) The black friend now convinced that the house is cursed has had enough and wants to get out. As he bolts for the door the evil spirit levitates him up into the air and upside down and puts him up against the wall where he holds on for dear life. The white friend finally arrives, sees his friend upside down high up on the wall and says "how did you get up there?".
5) The two best friends are having a big dinner with the jezebels, the girls tell them the story of the mansion, blah blah yadda yadda. Then they decide to sing a song, as it's something that pleases their grandpappy. The song they sing is called 'Swanee River' which you can Youtube and see a rendition by Judy Garland. One of the girl's shows one of the two friends why they can't leave the mansion. She walks him to the balcony and as she steps out onto the terrace she instantly aged 50-60 years. The mansion maintains their youth. So they walked back in and she turned young again.
6) The spirit gets jealous that the two friends are getting a lot of attention from the two girls so issues a challenge to the white friend in a dancing competition. The white friend starts of with a little display of tap dancing. He waits for a response, but can't see the spirit of grandpappy, but can just hear some tap dancing sounds coming from the tiled floor. He comments how this could be fair competition if he can't see him. All of a sudden some bandages fly in which wraps around an invisible entity and once completely mummified a top hat, cane and sunglasses appear. Now that the spirit is visible he does his dance. They go back and forth. One of the girls comments that grandpappy really hates to lose. And as he starts losing in a rage the bandages are torn off and he is no longer visible. All of a sudden a sword gets taken off one of the wall ornaments and attacks the white friend. He quickly grabs a cane and defends himself and soon defeats the spirit.
7) Another scene, the black ghost teaches the white ghost how to shoot balls of fire from his hands. He failed his first few attempts but eventually gets the hang of it.
8) The two best friends and the two girls leave the mansion to go somewhere (can't remember how the girls are able to leave all of a sudden), and they end up in a club or an arena, and somehow the white guy gets put in the ring against a big black guy. He starts getting beaten up by the pro boxer and he practically knocked out. The two ghosts watching over them use their powers to get him to stand back up on his feet, and are able to throw some forces of energy which hit the pro boxer on the face while the white friend just stands in front of him not throwing a single punch and confused by what is happening. The fight commentator states "this is unbelievable he is throwing punches so fast that the human eye can't see". The pro boxer gets knocked out and everyone celebrates. Hurrah.
9) At the end of the movie the two friends are driving somewhere and the two ghosts decide to play a prank on them by throwing some sort of balls of energy at them for a bit of fun. But all of a sudden the tyre explodes and it makes the car drive off the side of a cliff. The two ghosts look at each other and one comments "why did you do that for?" and the other responds with "it wasn't me, i thought you did it", "well it wasn't me". Then the laughter of the evil spirit can be heard. This is basically the end of the film.

lol I would have had to be a right twonk not to know Ghostbusters. I last saw Ghost Fever at least 18+ years ago. So I'm pleasantly surprised my memory of the scenes is not half bad.

From movie i remember scenes where friends went to the party together. And in middle of the party one of the friends overdosed i guess, and died. then in funeral his girlfriend was at her room smoking cigarettes and one of these guys climbed in to her room by window. Also afterwards they were going away from town, like runaway, because this kid took off from his home. They stopped at hotel and there they slept together. But after that the girl got back home. At the end of movie as i can remember the guy locked in the bathroom at this girls house, and i'm not sure, but i remember that he stabbed himself with scisscors.
That is all that i remember from this movie, and i want to watch it again. Could you help me?

I have been searching for a TV movie from the 80s. I saw it when I was a kid, so the details are sketchy, but I remember that it was basically about a nerdy boy who liked a popular girl. He found a way to take over her television broadcast and appear to her as I THINK a friendly alien or robot of some sort. She believes it and talks about it at school. Finally, she gets her teachers and classmates to join her for the next broadcast. During the broadcast the boy takes off the mask and reveals that it has been a hoax. She is embarrassed and I know they have some sort of fight after that. That's all I really remember. I want to say that they fight in a library at the school.
Adding to this mystery is that I was living in Northern NY at the time, so it could very well could have been a Canadian broadcast.

I've been looking for a movie for a long time now but all my searches have wound up result-less! Could anybody please help me? I have two scenes which I can remember (however I can't remember if they're even from the same film) but any help or suggestions would be hugely appreciated! This is what I can remember:
This is going back a few years but I have always remembered two scenes and cannot for the life of me remember which film(s) they are from!:
I can't remember if it was a film for children or teenagers, but I remember a part of the film where a few children have hidden down the side of a huge cliff face, or a small crack between two large buildings.. and I remember a troll walking up the passage towards them, swinging or holding a club and singing a nursery rhyme (fee fi fo fum I believe). If I remember correctly the intention was for the troll to capture or harm them but I can't remember what happened next. I also remember a part where there are two (I think) children (a girl and a boy, or two girls, I cant remember exactly but I'm almost certain there was a girl) and they are lying opposite each other in open caskets of some kind. I think the caskets are underwater? I think the children are still alive though, I'm not sure again. I also remember a bit where another boy(?) lifts one of the girls(?) out of the casket I think, or tries to save her in some way. I'm not sure if the caskets are even the same movie as the troll scene, but I have always remembered these particular scenes and I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me? I apologise for the lack of reliable description, but thank you to anyone in advance, your help is hugely appreciated!

I can only remember one scene of the movie or tv show I'm thinking of. It was towards the end of it, and I'm fairly sure it was some kind of a detective show. It shows a young woman, dressed in white, up in a tower, I think it's light house. she is tied to a chair, and she is about to be strangled with a belt or rope by a man standing behind her. I seem to remember that the reason he's strangling her has something to do with a legend about strangling virgins at midnight every so many years. people are racing up the spiral staircase to save her, which they do. I want to say it was set in some older time, like the 20's or 40's, and I think it may have been in England. if anyone knows what tv show or movie this is, please reply! thanks

Hello,please i need your help.You have already helped me once,so i will ask you again,although i think this one is pretty hard.I have watched this movie about 15 years ago and even then it seamed old.Movie was Russian,Belarus,or from Russian speaking countries.I'm pretty sure it was happening in Belarus.The movie is set in WWII,when i started to watch,it showed girl and a boy in the woods,i think they collected wood or food,when suddenly German attack start,they survive,but when they come to the village everybody is dead,there are some pretty shocking images of dead people piled near some building.Girl suddenly realize where remaining surviving people are,but boy cannot accept the true and is totally in shock.She finally drags him away and they are heading toward some island between two rivers.The villagers are there indeed but things are pretty crazy there,the children are very shocked and villagers are making some wood statues of Hitler.Here i stopped watching because i was too much scared,but after all this years i still see haunting images of this movie in my head and will like too watch it again.I realize it's not muchbut any information about this movie will be welcome.Thank you,Vasja.

I'm after another movie, horror film about 70's, not sure if it was part of something else or on it's own. i can only remember 3 things, Some shelves full of body parts all correctly labeled, a woman on the stairs with a hammer, and the moto was a place for everything and evreything in it's place. i thought it was part of Trilogy of terror, but i'm not sure.

Hello, I'm trying to find a film from between 2007-2010. the plot is basically some kind of drug deal/gang robbery which goes wrong and a lot of people get shot and money gets stolen or something like that. The accounts of what happened are then re-told by each of the surviving characters in turn. Each time we watch a different version of the events unfold. There end up being about 7 different versions of the story being told with each character being killed off when found to be lying. The final account is from a black guy who defiantly stands up to the gang boss and he insults his son who he says died like a screaming coward. The black guy is killed at the end and we see him having his tongue cut out with pliers or something like that..very nasty. I believe the cover of the dvd was predominantly red and had a short 1 or 2 word title.

I am trying to find a movie, it is an older movie. I don't remember if it was black and white or we just had a black and white tv. I saw it a long time ago, over 20 years.
Some people were on an island and they couldn't leave because single cell creatures in the water would eat them. There was a bad guy who gave one of the people the creatures to drink and they started eating him from his stomach. The bad guy recorded his screaming then put him on a raft with the tape recorder playing his screams and sent him out to sea then told the other people that the creatures were eating him alive out there although he was already dead. then he told the people electricity would kill the creatures and tested it in a tank. It looked like it killed the creatures, but it made all the creatures form up into a single creature. he tricked them into electrifying the ocean and made a giant creature.

Hi all im tryin to find a movie that ive been tryin to remember for a good few months now.
The movie is set in motel/hotel in the desert of an american town. A guy and a girl have a bag or briefcase full of money and the police/fbi are chasing them. rather then get arrested they choose to jump into the pool of the motel which has a spinning vortex/whirlpool in it that transports them somewhere.
That is all i remember of the movie i missed the start and only caught the back end of the movie.
Granted theres not alot to work off there but would love to see the movie if you's are able to work it out. The movie isnt that old is say from late 90's to early 2005

ok all i remember is this movie about a teenager who is turned older while his parents are away and turns young again when they come back or the other way around from older to youger , cant remember watched it when i was little :) , any way he was helped by a friend of his or someone and it was like in a basement or garage where this cage was and the guy who ages goes into the cage and sits on a barrel or something then the whole cage get electrified or some how and he ages, i think he went to school then again or i just cant remember but i think he met someone then at the end of the movie the girl asked his friend if he could help her to age again.

Posted this last year but haven't had any answers. Please fill me in if you know it, its busting my brain!!
Trying to remember the name of a psychodelic movie, possibly made in the 1970s or later, that i can only remember a few scenes from. I think it was set in the Mojave desert somewhere. Movie features a big black van with a crazy smile painted on the front and sides of the bus with red lips and sharp white teeth.
In one scene the van is tearing along a road through the desert with canyons and mountains surrounding and a stunning landscape. The mountains looked purple and green and all different colours. The people on the van were in some kind of hostage situation and the driver (the kidnapper?) after talking to ?his boss? on a mobile phone, threatens to cut of a hostage's arm. He yells "Take the left arm!!" or something like that.
In another scene the van is being chased by ?a car? along a road through the desert with mountains surrounding. It is an intense scene and the van attempts to turn a corner then crashes and flips upside down.
Any ideas are MUCH appreciated. Cheers.

I am looking for a Horror movie that I believe was made in the seventies. I think it was in black and white. The premise was that a woman actress was told she was trying for a specific part. It seems in reality she was a dead ringer for someone else. The woman was being used to set up some old man. The old man had a heart condition. When the old man's heart rate increased this player piano would automatically play. Other images were a gas station that gave away goldfish with each sale. This is the only direction of her location that she has to give her boyfriend who later tries to find her. Happy Hunting!

I would never thought of that but since i only know Anti Christ and Dancer in the Dark and no other of Trier's work it's no surprise. But from one angle in that picture that guy sure does look like Liam Neeson. But thank you very very much Mrdean for clearing it up. :-)
Hi, can anyone help me with a French film I saw circa 2005 but may have been filmed earlier? It's about a writer husband and wife who inherit the massive house across from their apartment. Great news, apart from the house comes with a sinister housekeeper who had an affair with the reclusive old man living there and soon sets her sights on the husband. Turns out the young wife petitioned the old man for money to help her husband get published, the price for this was stripping in front of him (and then her husband finds out and all hell breaks loose). Turns out it's all an elaborate cynical plot by the deceased man and his ex-lover, an old lady who pops up half-way in the film, they wish to 'test' the couple's love and marital vows. The end of the film has the couple manically running across the rooftops?? Please someone help me with this, its driving me mad! p.s. as is usual in French films, the husband and wife are played by beautiful and striking actors.

I am looking for a movie that was made around the 1990s. What I remember about the movie is the following:
A man is arrested and locked up in jail without being told why. He lives in jail for many years eating one kind of food (fried dumplings) everyday until one day he is released and still not told why he had been locked up. He therefore takes upon himself to look for the person who had jailed him. To do this, his lead is the taste of the dumplings he ate while in prison for many years. He begins to visit restaurants and order dumplings until one day he orders dumplings from a small restaurant that taste exactly the same as the ones he used to eat in jail. This leads him to the person who jailed him. There is some very brutal fighting and finally he realizes that it was an act of revenge for what he had done to a girl many years ago in his childhood.
Except my memory is failing me, this movie was made in Thailand.
I'd highly appreciate if anyone here could come up with the name of this movie.

Hello, I hope you all can help me find the title of a movie. It was most likely made in the mid-80's, although it was probably set in the late 60's or early 70's. The movie centers around an older boy/teenager who is cognitively disabled, possibly autistic, but doesn't have any physical disabilities. He is very close with his Grandfather, and takes a bus to visit him every day. However, his Grandfather dies and altough the boy's family tries to explain that to him, and he attends the funeral, he doesn't really understand death so he continues taking the bus trip to see his Grandfather and looking for him. It may have been a made-for-television movie, because it kind of has that "feel" to it, but I don't know that for sure.

hiya people, i am after some help identifying a film i saw in the early 90's at a friends house. All i can remember about the film is the main character was ex military, possibly a sniper and im sure it had the token eye candy woman assisting him. I seem to rermember that there was a sniper firing at them at one point and the main character was counting seconds until the bullet hit posibly in a car park area and i think he said something along the lines of 5 seconds – he's 5km away.

Some bad guys break into a house and hold the Family prisoners and torture and kill a few of them, somehow the tables turn and the family gets the bad guys caught and tortures them for a bit but again the tables turn and the bad guys get lose and start on the family again. In the end I honestly think it is the bad guys that win? It was maybe in the 1980's or 90's cant remember exactly. I know the movie frustrated the heck out of me while watching it and I hated it because the bad guys win out. But I have thought about it over the years and just would like to put a name to it. Anyone recall this movie???

I am looking for a movie I saw on tv in the 90s but sadly dont remember much all I do remember is there was a group of kids posibly in there teens running from something and they come to a tall fence one of the boys with blond hair kinda curly that came to his shoulders tried climbing the fence and he did not realize it was an electric high voltage fence so when he got half way up he got shocked causing him to fall and the other kids ran to him to see if he was ok. sorry for the lack of info

Hi i'm searching for a tv movie i saw when i was a kid it was about 2 policemen that were best friends and went through academy together one was a crack shot and they are working on a case of a serial killer but it isn't long before 1 of the cops starts to suspect his friend and partner is actually the killer they are looking for any ideas what it might have been can't think of it for the life of me
I've been trying to identify this movie for years. I've searched google with no luck. I remember the plot involved a grandfather who always treated his grandson horribly, and toward the end of the film the grandfather dies when his car careens into a lagoon and he drowns rescuing a child, who I presume to be his great-grandchild. The grandson refuses to believe that he is dead until he sees his dead body laid out. He then remembers an instance from his childhood where his grandfather locked him in a barn and then walked away with another child, who may have been one of his siblings.
I sure hope you guys can figure this one out, because it's been bugging me for a long time.

Its an 80's horror/thriller, where a cop agrees to be put to sleep, at the same time as a murderer, do he can get into the murderers mind. While they are asleep they are concious of each other, and recognise that they are in each others heads. I was young, so.. I remember them 'doing it' in the car, on a boat, and... I think there was a part it was in the rain? I'm not for sure.

I am trying to remember a ninja movie:
Rough release time: 80s (but I presume that's when all ninja movies were made)
Plot:
It's modern times. A couple of ninjas in black either kidnap or kill some VIP in a well guarded house at night. Then a white guy is being sent to Japan(may have been China) to meet a group of special operatives to help them with this ninja problem. Once he arrives, he first meets an informant who shows him some interesting James Bond gadgets like a bullet proof shirt and an atomic bomb the size of a peanut. Then he goes to the forest where the special operatives are located and he gets attacked. There is a scene where he fights a guy in a mask on floating logs. The people who attack him turn out to be members of the group he is meant to join. They were testing him or something like that.
I also remember the main protagonist later getting hit with a shuriken and getting poisoned by it, so his team bring him on a boat and use a snake to bite his wound, which somehow makes him better.
In the end there is a big fight with constantly respawning groups of red ninjas (random bashing of piano keys is heard in the backrgound everytime a new group appears) and then the proteagonist fights the two (or one?) black ninjas from the beginning.
I don't remember it as being a very good movie, but I remember it as not being a bad one either.

One is "Mother's day" (it was recently remade in 2010 but it existed before)

Hi, Everybody! I am almost sure it's a British movie or at least set there, maybe London or something). I have already seen this movie a couple of times but I don't remember the name and I'd like to watch it again. I think the story was set from late 90's or the beginning of 2000's. It's a mother who receives the notice of her daughter's death by a police officer at her house. The girl is dead near some bushes and with a school uniform with stripped skirt(if I remember well , but it looked like those private school uniforms). The mother begins to investigate the murder herself (along and apart from the police at the same time). She ends up finding about her daughter's secret and double life. There's some arabic men (they are all relatives among themselves) who the girl used to relate with and a friend of her that her mother becomes very fond of. Please somebody help! Spoiler allert: This girl who becomes friends with the dead girl's mom is actually the girl's killer! The mother discovers it in the end and she explains that it was not on purpose, it was an accident. And explains to the mother what and how it actually happened. From what I can remember (or think I remember) the mother is a middle-aged woman and I think she's a well-known (almost sure British) actress. Kindda the actress of the movie SECRETS AND LIES, or even herself, possibly... Now that I gave information that I remember, could someone help me, please? Pleeease??? :)
I believe the film was made in the late 90s early 00s, it's australian, and the main plot is about a young guy who hears music in everyday life.
From memory, he has a younger sister who dies fairly early in the film, i think of a drug overdose (maybe) while he was off studying or recording. He ends up making a show with a mixture of sounds he recorded of the world and uses several 'actors' of a sort on the stage intermingled with those sounds with dialogue they often repeat.
It was quite the bittersweet film. I have tried some google fu, but unfortunately i don't remember any of the names of the actors in it, nor do i remember the exact year. I can try to do a blanket search of australian films of a 10 year period of 95-05 and hope the name pops, but in the meantime, see what you can do with that you wizards of the internet.

We saw a movie in the 90's set on a Mediterranian island, probably Italian. It was quite old maybe 1950's and maybe B&W. The theme was a young girl about 10 wanting to get a particular present (yellow flowers?) for her mothers birthday, and she travelled all over the island going from shop to market looking for this present.
I think she was reported missing and then her father realised it was his wifes birthday.
It was a delightful movie but there was one creepy part that didnt fit in.
The girl was walking down the road when she met a man about 20. She said something about not talking to strangers and he said "well my names ___ whats yours?" and then "so now we're not strangers so you can come with me" ...
A car comes alone and she is safe. As I said this part was memorable as it just didnt fit in with the rest.
I can remember a scene with a ferry coming in from the mainland.

I remember this movie I watched on Sky [analogue] in the 1990's some time ago. Might be a TV movie. No big stars I don't think [could be wrong though]:
The protagonist is a young girl in her late teens/early 20's I think. She's pretty bored because she lives with her mother.
She hangs out by this lake.
They live in this hotel with one or two staff, it's quite isolated.
It's summer, it's hot, lot's of orange and yellow I think.
I think the girl was blonde, wore quite loose fitting short dresses I seem to remember.
The mother arranges for some extra help so she hires this guy who is older.
Things get a bit steamy between the daughter,mother and guy I think. A few tensions arise and I think the girl is tired of living with her mother
Then I seem to remember the girl moving out and going to the city or something in this apartment block
That's where my memory of the plot fades out.
Please help, I'd like to hunt it down, but completely forgot the name of it.

Hi folks, I came across your thread in my own search for a lost film and I'm hoping you guys can help. It is a movie from the mid 80's and I believe it is in the vein of the young american male gaining Martial arts mastery Genre. The only scene I can remember, and the one that has been gnawing at my brain for years, comes near the climax of the film where our hero has be captured by the thugs and put in a back office of some warehouse or loading bay. He escapes by jumping up and kick\bouncing off the cupboards to spin kick the guy holding him, and goes on to escape and kick butt... Not a lot to go on, so naturally my googling has revealed naught. Can anyone remember?

A new mystery but this time it is not too difficult. I mean for someone who knows about a bw film from the 30s...! Peter Falk tells a young girl a story and the story developes on screen. I just remember I loved it! No idea when I saw it!
Another one with Peter Falk. He finds a job in a radio station that noone listens to. He starts taking the micky out of Albanians. Then it gets worse. He starts to insult them. The controversy ends with the Albanian minority in the city ransacking the station but peter Falk is long gone.
Another Film I would really like to get hold of is starring Nicolas Cage. He is searching for a man who has abducted his daughter. The sherrif helps him and risks his career and when the deputy asks him why he says have u ever seen the truth? It makes everything else look like cold coffee! That is all I remember!

OMG!!!! you have no idea how awesome this is! you have solved one of the biggest mysteries of my life. I have been searching for this movie for a long long time ago. Funny thing is.. when I watched it.. i was a tiny little kid and my mum took me to the movies to see it (this was overseas too) so I wasn't sure if this movie was American or not. I am so so happy, just watched a couple of scenes and it brings the memories back. I can't wait to watch the whole movie!!

Hey all. I'd be very grateful if someone could name this movie, however it might be a difficult one. I'm pretty good at tracking down movies myself, however this one has eluded me for years.
A few facts:
- Saw it at the drive-in (it was the second movie, so probably not a great film)
- Somewhere between 1977 and 1981 (gut feel is probably 80 or 81)
- English language film, but I can't remember the accents (could have been either a UK or USA production, but definitely not AU)
Plot points:
- Main characters are a mother and her very sick boy (about 10 years old)
- Boy's illness is serious, life threatening (can't remember exact illness)
- Along comes a mysterious man who claims to be able to cure the boy with his healing powers (can't remember his name – let's call him Mr X)
- Mr X is very theatrical and dramatic, he dresses in black and claims to have powers (similar to a magician, but more serious, almost like a cult leader)
- The boy start to get better, his mother begins to believe in and trust Mr X, he becomes part of their lives (I think Mr X eventually moves into their house)
- The boy starts to be drawn in by Mr X, becoming amazed and awed by him, the boy wants to be like him
- Once the boy is well, Mr X disappears (I'm a bit hazy here, but something also occurs to make the mother call the police – maybe something is stolen... not sure)
(The following parts I remember very clearly)
- The mother calls in the police, they investigate and discover Mr X is a con man, he is also the thief/culprit
- The mother refuses to believe what the police tell her because Mr X cured her son's illness (she and her son believe Mr X has real powers)
- The police convince the mother by referring her to slides (i.e. photo slides in a projector) from her son's previous birthday party
- The party occurred just before Mr X appeared, when her son was still very ill. The photos are of a clown (in full makeup and red nose) at the party – the clown is Mr X
- The police assert that the clown (Mr X) could easily have put drugs into the boy's birthday cake to cure his illness
(The rest is a bit hazy)
- The mother is devastated and frightened, she fears Mr X will return and so runs away with her son to some remote location
- The boy still does not believe the police, he continues to believe Mr X has powers, and still wants to be like him
- The final scene is of the boy, who turns to the camera to reveal he is dressed exactly like Mr X – he has fallen under Mr X's spell
- I can't remember if Mr X appears again at the end of the film
That's as much as I can remember. Here's hoping someone recognises it.

From reading the IMDb synopsis and the external reviews, it's looking very likely that this is the movie I'm thinking of (I'd clearly forgotten the whole politican father part of the story).

I know jt was directed by a woman... but I hardly remember any information except vague plot info, so here goes:
it's an independent film set in America somewhere, and there's only really two characters. it begins with a woman driving in her pyjamas with alcohol bottles in the car. She's had a fight with her husband over another woman, we find out later.
She meets a young English boy (about 20 maybe) who's stuck in America with no ticket and no family.
They become sort-of-lovers, staying in an unused beach house (the weather is rainy though).
At one point, they go to a folk dancing class and the boy dresses up as a woman at some point.
At another point, when the dance studio is empty, the boy plays the piano and the woman dances on stage.
At another point the two go into a brewery and drink from the kegs, then lie there drunk.
Near the end, the two go to her house and her husband comes out into the yard. The English boy punches him in the face.
Then at the very end, the English boy leaves the woman a wrapped gift box on a bench, then walks off down the street.
In the credits, the piano song by the boy is played.
Sorry for how vague this is, I watched it about 3 years ago and it didn't seem like a very old film...

I also remember a scene in which four of them raid some house beating everyone in there, with Afro-American character beating a guy long after he's unconscious.

An Asian fantasy film, i barely remember it. Main character encounters a guy who can run incredibly fast, he wears feathers on his shoulders or something, i think he also has something to do with ravens. I also think that he is a messenger for some evil sorceress, he was born normal but he chose to serve her in exchange for immortality. I'm also not sure about this, but i think that protagonist becomes the new messenger at the end.

For some reason I'm certain that Steven Seagal acted in this one but i cant find it in his filmography so i guess I'm wrong. The main character goes to a town in Asia to help his daughter or some other little girl. There he fights guys who can take aspects of certain animals, one fought as a frog, sticking to the walls and things like that. I also think that it was filmed with some yellowish filter.

I'm looking for a movie that another user on here was looking for about a year ago, his description jogged my memory a little and I can remember a few more details –
Movie from the 80's (again maybe from the 70's). Might be Italian, almost sure its European. It's about a kidnapping (of olympic sportsmen?). It takes place in a modern building complex. To escape the police the kidnappers dress all the same with motorcycle helmets and everyone with a gun. The music is similar to that of the Italian westerns.
A few things that I could add to that would be that the kidnapper spills Corn Flakes, or some other brand of cereal outside the door to his room so he can hear anyone approaching. I think the main setting might be a hotel.
In regards to the escape plan previously mentioned, I think that somehow the police knew how that's how it would turn out or that it was their idea or something like that, (sorry, i'm a little hazy about the reasoning for the ending).
Anyway, the police were able to get one of their officers into the kidnappers room to act as a hostage but before that, they had walked him through the escape procedure which involved giving all the hostages empty guns and the kidnapper would be the only one with the loaded one.
The kidnapper and hostages would be walking across the roof of the building in single file, (while wearing the previously mentioned identical outfits and matching motorcycle helmets) when the group walked through a particular doorway the police officer would throw away his empty revolver and quickly grab an identical and loaded revolver that had been stashed on the other side of the door.
When the group arrive on the roof a helicopter is waiting for them, but before they can reach it the police officer/hostage tries to shoot the kidnapper with his now loaded revolver but finds that the first chamber is empty which gives the kidnapper time to turn around and shoot the cop, who in turn shoots the kidnapper, basically they both end up dead and it's revealed that the cop's superior officer set him up to be killed for some reason that i can't remember.
That's all I can remember for now, I hope that I explained all of that clearly, it's quite convoluted.
The only place that i've seen this movie was on SBS when they had the cult movie slot on Saturday night, this was in the mid nineties, so it's been awhile.

I´ve been trying to find this movie for years and all i remember about it is one scene and very vaguely so im sorry for the lack of details.
As i remember it, it felt like sort of a coming of age story, and the scene involves a little boy and a little girl trying to experiment with sex without knowing anything about it, the kids are standing and the boy ends up putting his thing in the girls bellybutton, they give up and scene ends.
For the record nothing is shown, just implied and its kind of a funny scene.

I found this page after hours of searching the web for the name of a movie that has been bugging me for the last 5 years, at least!
I remember I watched this movie between 2001 and 2006, but I don't know how old it was when I rented it.
The movie is filmed in a first person kind of way, it mostly shows the hands of the character wearing latex gloves, and long sleeves tight with a watch. The character is kind of weird and crazy, and goes to the hospital frequently because it has some kind of skin disease. He looks like an unoffensive guy, until it shows up in the house of a girl he was stalking, and starts to "take care" of her, until he kills her. I remember scenes of him giving her a bath or force feeding her. The movie goes on with this killer going into his victims' houses and killing them in a weird caring way. The last one is his nurse, which he is kind of in love with. In the end, he kills the nurse and comes back to his house feeling regretful about this. The last scene of the movie shows the killer's shadow throughout the shower curtain, and the killers bony back; and this is when you notice that the killer is, in fact, a girl! I have a strange flashback of the movie's cover, which was blueish or grayish with a hand, but I'm not so sure about this.

The scene i can remember is that they move all of the office furniture outside into the school/campus/grounds onto the grass area.
The person whose office it is and another teacher are trying not to smile while the crowd of students are gatherd round looking at it.
They have replicated the office layout in every way, as the comment goes something like "even down to the waste paper basket" (or some other minor peice of detail.
Then ther conversation continues with a comment "i dont suppose it would send out the right message if I start working out here"
"no, it wouldn't" is the kind of reply.
Then the principal asks some students to help move every thing back.
An older sci-fi movie maybe 80-90 I only remember 1 scene from it tho.

If they're not underground, but rather drifting through space in a lifepod that was ejected from a failing spaceship, I think you're talking about Lifepod. There's a scene exactly like you're describing in that movie. The man with the mechanical arm was named Q-three.
The opening scene hears a gunshot echoing through the woods. Somebody fires in a remote house or hut. This scene is shown later in the ending part of the movie.

I saw a foreign black comedy one night on SBS and I'd love to get my hands on the DVD. However, I forgot the name of the film. I'll list what I remember in note form. If anyone can give me the title of this movie I'd be ever most grateful as I've been searching for it for over 10 years now. Some of the facts below could be completely wrong but this is how I remembered it.
- I saw it on SBS around 1999
- It was a film about a couple who appeared on a fictional reality game show
- The women of the couple hijacked the show and killed the TV host in the end then the audience clapped
- The game show was trying to test the strength of love of the couple
- the woman of the couple was named Barbara
- I remember is a scene where the couple are forced to dance with other people and the husband made his wife very jealous. After that the husband and female dancer went back stage. During this time the TV host talks to his wife while they watch her husband and dancer take a break back stage on a secret camera. The female dancer try's to make moves on him while his wife gets jealous and upset.
- The audience members each have a remote which they used regularly to make votes (about something I don't know) throughout the movie
That's about all I remember. It was a black comedy and I'm pretty sure it was German (or maybe Spain?). However, I've gone through many lists of German / Spanish movies from the late 80s up to the late 90s and haven't found it yet so now I'm beginning to doubt if it was from Germany. I'm 100% sure it wasn't in English or from Asia.

Saw it about 20 years ago. I think it was made in 60's or 70's and was very much in the style of Jason and The Argonauts and I think was based in Ancient Greece or Rome. One particular scene stands out and used to really scare me. It was when a group of men awoke a statue (I think it was either a horse or a knight) with a potion and the statue chased them and drowned some of the men with a pole off a boat. Any ideas??
Well then i have a movie that has for me been a real tough one to find.

What i can remember from the movie is that a researcher has gathered some people that help out in ESP research (telepathy) And invites them to join her in a haunted house to see if their powers will attract or awaken the ghosts said to be there. Things get out of hand as the Ghosts powers seem stronger than expected.
Now the researcher i think was a blonde middle age female. And she has a lot of technical equipment in the large living room which seem like a safe area during the movie.

Look up the guy that did the special effects in Jason and the Argonauts. He died recently, Ray Harryhausen . He did all the effects for those sort of films. The other one that is most famous is Clash of the Titans.

Hi, I am looking for two b-movie sci fi flicks.
The first one (and the more important for me to find) was situated on a big ship. The movie of course is set in the future. So the ship has tanker size but is more futuristic looking. I think it was shot exclusively in red filter.
Here comes the tricky part. I don't remember things like plot, characters, names etc. The only thing I am certain of is the following:
There was a cyborg cat-looking (I hope) woman that was killing the crew. The whole movie had that cheap "Alien" knock-of feel. But it was industrial looking, red, the woman was constantly stalking from the shadows and I think she killed the whole crew. I know the information is not enough but that is what I remember. And I think the protagonist was old.
In short: catwoman-looking thing, killing people in a ship and everything is in red.

There is band of evil doers that are both bandits and something like sheriffs. Our hero first is on their site but we know that is a set-up.
The most memorable thing from the movie was the initiation to join the band. They have to brand their skin on the forearm with hot iron. And the symbol was something like a smile. Later the hero mocked that showing his lady friend (while they are in bed) that he is not one of the bandits by burning his skin with his cigar. He made two dots with it over the smile and looked like he has smiley face on his arm.
I too am looking for a movie that I believe I saw parts of in the late seventies or early eighties. It had a doctor or a scientist that developed a medicine or potion that caused living things to grow and age at a rapid pace. There were doberman puppies that reached maturity within a few days...then he aquires an infant that grows over several months into a woman which he then falls in love with and watches her age and die. Sorry I don't have anymore details but this was some time ago.

Hello, I've been looking for this movie and I can't find it on Google or IMDB. This might be kinda hard because the movie isn't out yet for all I know and it should be soon. I'll tell you what I remember from the trailer and where its set. So basically the movie is set in modern time and it's a Latino neighborhood where this girl whose around 17- 20 and raps for a hobby. She finds out that her mother or sister is in jail for drugs and has bail. So this is where the girl decides to use her rapping skills to make up the money to pay the bail, but on the way through clubs and all that she gets into trouble and mixing with some bad people and pushes her family away the more she gets famous. Around the end of the trailer she walks into a radio station where her friend is talking with the djs and she basically raps on the air. The last thing I remember is her starting to say her name on the air and I believe it was like, "Roxie Brown.... keeping it real for the hood." I'm sorry that I can only give you this much and from a trailer no less, but it would be greatly appreciated if you can find the name. Oh! The other thing is is that I'm positive the the title is her name but I don't know for sure if I got the name right. Thank you very much for reading this : )!

This is a very weird movie. For a ehile I thought I imagined it, because evrytime I speak about it trying to come across someone who might know it, they only say "weird".
It's a story about two sisters (they were little, the older one must have been 14 or something, both blonde). For reasons I don't remember, they start wandering away from home. The movie is focused a little more on the older sister, whose attitude is a little "slutty" (sorry, don't know how else to describe it).
I remember few parts like:
They find some kind of "fallen angel" near the end of the movie. It's a guy bleeding, but seems to be an angel. The older sister touches him.
They find a horse along the way and ride it for a while.
They pass some kind of fair, and the older sister dresses up like more womanly and puts on make up and starts flirting with some guys
There's this part where the older sister teaches the younger one how to kiss.
At the end of the movie both sisters are swimming or something in a river or lake (sorry, it's blurry) and the older one drowns, and the younger "goes to heaven" or something like that. It's a very weird scene because the older sister doesn't fight it much, she just walks deeper into the water and drowns.
There wasn't much dialogue that I can remember; seemed like an indie movie.
As for the date the film was released, it couldn't be after 2000. Probably between 90 and 98.

That scene sounds very familiar. I think I may have seen the same film at the drive in when I was very young. Could possibly be Sinbad And The Eye Of The Tiger.
I saw this film on SBS some time ago. Can't remember which country it was from but it was a European film. Ive got a feeling it could have been Italian but I could be wrong. Probably a 1980s film but could well be early 90s.
In the film, a woman develops a relationship with a man who I believe has committed a crime. The woman lives with a young boy who I think is her (much) younger brother but I'm not 100% positive about their relationship. It looks like the boy must have alerted the authorities about this man because he is taken away near the end of the film. The woman is really upset with the boy for doing this. At the end of the film, the woman is on her knees shaking the boy and screaming. The more and more she shakes, the more and more the top of her dress slips down until the inevitable happens. She then hugs the boy, totally oblivious of her 'wardrobe malfunction.'

The movie I cannot seem to find any trace of goes something like this: It's about two brothers that end up in an orphanage, for some reason, where the younger one gets adopted out to some nice semi-rich people. Then the older brother kidnaps the younger one, and they try to make their way home to Omaha, I think. Mostly what I remember from this movie is that it was set way back in the day, like the boys wore those soft hats with the stiff half moon brim in the front (the kind that older men wear golfing these days, lol, I don't know what they are called). There is also a train, I'm pretty sure, in there at some point, and I want to say that they end up finding their way home, or to some family or something. I watched this movie in the mid 1990's, and I'm not sure if it was a 1980's, or 1990's film; I do know that it was from one of those decades because of the colors and they way the film looked while watching it, haha.

I saw the last part of this movie on tv in the late 90s and it seems like it would have been released around that time. I just remember a couple of key scenes:
1. Teenage boy and girl running through a jungle island(?) at night, running from somebody? A shotgun is involved? Drinking? A make-out session. Lots of 'psychedelic' camera work going on...
2. Later, at a fancy hotel, bright daytime. Wearing bathrobes? There's a car race going on outside, which makes me think maybe the Monaco GP?
Hi and I'm looking for a thriller/crime/drama between I would say 1985 – 1995.:) Hollywood movie.
Blurry plot I can remember now is within probably the previous half of the movie, and it's about a woman was missing, probably been kidnapped, years later a cop or private detective chasing the case and evidence shown that the missing woman was last seen in a scene like woods or deep in the forest. Not 100% sure if the plot I remember is being very accurate.:(
However there's this only scene in the previous half of the movie I remember very clearly; a little girl, less than 10-year-old, who is playing a big doll house alone in the living room of a house, color tone of this scene is grey-ish, almost dark, and suddenly one of her parents (or relatives) walks in the living room and takes her away, probably moving to a far place. This little girl has a sad face through the whole scene, even when she is playing the doll house, she doesn't seem happy.
EDIT: I remember the theme music of this movie, it's piano melody with no singing.

I've been looking for this movie for ages now and I hope you could help me out. I've seen it between five and ten years ago, and I'm thinking it's from the 90's/somewhere early 2000. I used to think the lead was played by Keanu Reeves but i didn't find anything in his filmografy so that was wrong.
It's about a lawyer or councillor of some sorts who's fiancé (dark haired) is from a wealthy family. Her father has got a company in the same business the guy is in, he is rather boring, average and career-minded.
She is more of a wild child but he doesn't really know, she contains herself very well untill they go out to a restaurant and he crashes the car against a tree on the way home. The thrill and the adrenaline gets her excited, they're alone on the road and they do it on the hood right after the car crashed.
This event triggers something in her and something happens with her, I don't know what exactely (i'm thinking suicide) but she dies or disappears and he starts digging in her past.
He finds out that years ago she was hanging out with a bunch of thrill-seekers. They climbed mountains, did base-jumping etc and I believe she was the leader or at least had a major part in the group, but then she went back home. I believe the new alfa is her ex-bf.
He finds them, wants to hang out with them to understand her better. He needs to prove himself and together they do all kinds of crazy stuff. F.e. one time they go laying on the train-tracks, there's a train coming and they have to stay down as long as possible. In the end they all jump up right on time, but one guy stays down, starts laughing and he turns himself so he is in between the tracks and the train runs over him without hitting him.
He gets involved in the group and learns they have a secret. It's something involving drugs they stole or found and they are hidden somewhere only they could get using their sky-diving or climbing skills.
I don't remember what happens in the end but it was something involving a gang and it had something to do with the drugs. There was a fight, some guy dies and in the end he chooses their life-style and throws away his career.
I remember the last scene: they went karting and he led the group with the karts out of the building and onto the main road, he's the new alfa and they all have a lot of fun.
It's not Cutaway or Point Break.

Needing some help to work out what this movie is, it's been annoying me and my brother for years!
From the mid 80's early 90's. I can't remember a lot but i think it's about a group of teenagers who are traveling initially on a bus to a town and stay in a motel, then they end up in a forest type area and there's a table full of fruit and the main guy takes a bite out of a melon and is so excited to see all of this delicious fruit that they've never seen before. And its the beginning of them being trained up as Ninja's to fight a woman with a blue bladed katana (Samurai sword).

I could remember only very few things
1.There were many soldiers probably a military base during a war time
2.There was a young lady (probably some lost lonely maid in her twenties) usually tending to a (brown)horse (can't remember who owned the horse)
3.The lady and a particular soldier had chemistry with each other and started secretly sleeping with each other
4. I think (Im not sure) the soldier had to leave the girl.
5. If it might help: the picture in my head says the lady usually put on white/cream coloured calf-length gown

The guy is a bit of a loner but hes really smart he knows more than the boss who is an ass. The guy wears a long coat. Its a post nuclear war story on a submarine and they surface in a city, i think its san francisco but just cause I remember a massive bridge. could be new york. THe submarine surfaces and the water is all green and a black guy in the sub decides to take a fishing boat and go fishing in the bay, though I don't think theres any fish alive.
They go onto the land, I don't think anyone else is alive, they only sirvived cause they were underwater. A member of the team, I think he's the son of the captain or second in charge; he's young and brave. He gets a cut in his suit, it cuts into his skin/ he gets really sick. I imagine from radiation sickness. umm I saw it when i was really little so probably released in the 90's?

I am trying to find a movie from about 1995 to 2003 where the main actress was Ashley Judd (i could be wrong). In all the movie there was a policeman that fell in love with her however the movie makes the viewer believe that he is a bad man and at the end he was good and saves her from another man. another mystery of my time, this one is with Melanie Griffith: must be from the early 70s. At the beginning there is a love scene in the kitchen and the woman gets wet and her circuites burn out in the process! Turns out it is an android for private use! I'm not sure this is what you are after but there are some elements that match — Clint Eastwood starred in the The Beguiled (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066819/ ) in 1971. This was set during the Civil War. If this isn't it, could you give more details on the military base or the war (20th century? earlier?).

Oh gosh, my memory of this film is very sketchy. I saw it on TV a long time ago. It's probably 1970s or 1980s era. I recall that a group of people take a trip in some kind of caravan or campervan etc. They come across some kind of cult to do with witchery or Satanism or something like that. There's a sequence later in the film where they're driving along in their caravan / campervan type vehicle and members of the cult are pursuing them. The cult members make various attempts at stopping or climbing on to the moving vehicle but end up getting injured / knocked over etc / maybe even killed.
I only remember a few things about this particular movie, and I have been searching it for a few years now.

I always thought that it was a movie that Michael Madsen starred in, but I do not seem to have any luck tracing that route.
All I remember is that this guy that kind of resembles Michael Madsen is always dressed in a white suit(as far as I can remember). The scene is extremely violent, which I will not describe, but I will just give that the Michael Madsen-like character wraps his suit in plastic to keep his white suit clean. This scene is also inside of a place that seems like a boat shack or a tool shed of some sort.
I hope I did not break any rules, and I hope you are able to help me out. I just watched reservoir dogs and this movie popped back in my head and now it has been driving me crazy.

Hi. I'm looking for the name of a movie I saw as a kid. It would've been from the 80's and I believe it was on during Halloween time – it might have been a made for TV movie.
What I remember is a girl who gets late night visits from a dark mysterious guy who is a vampire. She falls for him and he gives her a snake ring that matches his, I think? Anyway she can't get away from him even though he is bad for her. At the end she cuts connection with him, or something like that, by destroying the snake ring. I think she flushes it down the toilet? Also, the ring may or may not have glowed somehow. Maybe the snake eyes glowed?? The snake ring was a major part of the movie.

Two young kids walking down a dirt road see a old house in the woods on a hill. It belonged to 2 or 3 witches . They put the kids in a big sack hanging from the ceiling. They leave to get a bat. They kids escape and put the witches dog in the sack and hide. The witch beat the dog without knowing.

It's about a prostitute in New York City who suspects her client is an assassin when she discovers a rifle in his bags. Her suspicions are confirmed when she's watching TV the next morning and sees an important dignitary being assassinated. She then flees to the west coast of the US with her friend. Things are calm though she is plagued with nightmares. She then learns that the assassin has followed her to the west coast and that a new dignitary will be visiting the city she lives in. She now faces the dilemna of revealing her past to her husband as well as her location to the assassin to save the dignitary's life.
I'm trying to find a film, perhaps released during 1980-2000, from what i can remember, it's about a teenage girl who's sick of her (rich?) mother and sneaked out in the middle of the night to find her never-met father(dad and mom maybe divorced long time ago).
think it involves a bit of crime, some bad guys were chasing after them, there's a car chasing scene where the girl uses a mirror to flash the bad guys to get rid of them...

I watched the movie in the mid to late 90's
in one of the final (i believe) scenes a wheelchair bound man is pushed onto a hot air balloon by a blond woman. there is some sort of storm happening. the man is the bad guy if I remember correctly.
The main characters are twins(or just siblings I was very young at the time) one good one bad, bad one is with the old man in the wheelchair.

My mother rented this movie around Aug. 2009 to April. 2010 in her last days before passing. She wanted me to see it but I can not remember the name of the movie. I don't have alot to work with either. Here is what I got:
– It's about a woman thats terimally ill, dying.
– the plot is all about how she feels and tries to live her last days.
– how she felt like a burden on her loved ones but yet still felt alone too.

Trying to remember the name of a movie I first saw in 1980 (ish) though it might have been released a while before this. A brother and sister have been in some asylum for murdering their parents and drawing flowers on a mirror with their blood. They are released into the care of an older sister. They have a room they can go into if things get a bit stressed. turns out the murderer was actually the older sister & we find this out when she kills someone else and draws flowers on mirror with her blood.

Lots of time getting ready for him. lover arrives & it turns out it is the husband himself. they play some sort of spider game with their hands. From what you describe this almost sounds like Legend. Tom cruise dives into a lake to retrieve a ring that the girl he loves tossed in there and some goblins break a unicorns horn at the same time turning the land to winter freezing the lake. tim curry is the devil in the movie

hi, need help trying to remember a film set on a housing estate where a scene shows a man with an animal who explains to a group he has a plan then in a following scene he is in a kitchen which is covered in blood and the animal has gone with the implication he's cut it up.
Ok this is a massive long shot as i have little information lol. But here goes.....
The film that im trying to remember is i think set somewhere in America during the 1930-1950's about a young girl who only has her father as family and a dog for company. But her dad is sent away to blow up mountains to make new roads/towns/villages. The girl on the other hand is forced by the father to stay in an orphanage type place until his return which is unknown for sure. The girl fed up with waiting runs away to find her father with her dog in tow for company.
The girl meets many people who direct her to where the men are working.
The last scene that i can remember clearly is the girl and dog standing on a rubble path way cut through the trees by the men working up in the mountains. She is in danger as this area is about to be blown up. The father is sitting in the back of the truck which is heading back down the mountain when someone mentions seeing a girl and dog going up the mountain path. The father realises to his horror that it is his daughter and races back to save her where they run into each others arms to be reunited at long last!!
I saw the film in the 80's so could of been released at any time, but i will say it was in colour but still a very old looking film.

The female lead was in a chamber about to steal some jewels from a chest when she becomes distracted by a dancing shadow. She is lured towards it and dances with this "shadow", after a while of dancing she "morphs" with the shadow and is seen to be wearing what the shadow is wearing (a grand dark dress).
Next scene I remember, is shortly after the scene just described:
She and the devil/demon are at a banquet hall by themselves. He asks her to take a seat. She slowly lowers herself down to the seat and the devil gradually smiles. However, at the last minute she stops and gets back up before she sits on the chair, which had slime oozing down the back of the chair. The devil becomes enraged and the female asks something along the lines of: are you angry at me because I refuse to sit?

Hi, I need help identifying a movie set in an Australian country town but the only scene I remember is a blonde girl and a young boy sitting on a couch, then she puts her hand on his leg. Next minute they're in a shed doing their business and the boy's mum walks in and catches them in the act, she yells and walks out and the boy is in shock.

Some black goo escapes the room behind the door and apparently drowns everyone in the room

It's amazing how many times LEGEND and LABYRINTH keep popping up here, and it's not like they're even obscure movies!

I can't remember the name either but I do remember some more details. The movie involves shifting between parallel dimensions. Little things trigger the shift. In the example above, he walked between the split trunk of a tree, the result is that when he opens an apartment door, it opened into a warehouse with the particular person they were looking for. If you didn't walk between the split trunk it would be just a plain apartment.
The main guy was a normal person but gets stuck in a war between a princess with her rebels and some evil faction (who quasi-kidnap him at one point). The rebels live in the in-between space of the multiple dimensions/reality, which is reminiscent of Mars with a very red tint to everything and no vegetation. I believe it was made in the 80's and I think it was named somehow after the in-between space; something like Outworld though that's not it.

The end I felt at that time was a superb twist ending, with the man left with an empty suitcase? or a suitcase full of cash as he stands alone in the middle of a huge room? There is a woman involved here. She has either conned him, or perhaps she was the one standing cheated. Gosh, I can't remember more. I've tried to look for this movie for months, and have ruled out movies like House of Games, Grifters, etc.

I am trying to recall the name of a movie I saw way back in the 1990s. All I can remember was that it had a very interesting plot that involved a few con artists and their games.
If I am not wrong, there are two men (probably brothers) and a lady. Their games also involved gambling and casinos, but I am not 100% certain of this.

Thanks ZeroFlight. I did look up DRScoundrels, but the ending of this movie is not the same that I remember – a man left with a box of cash or fake cash or empty box – or some such. I will watch DRS and ascertain just the same. Meanwhile, if any other names come to mind, do post.
Turns out it is an android for private use! The guy tries to get the body to upload the memories of the old one and refuses to accept that the model is out of date. He takes the software to find the spareparts from some android graveyard that is really dangerous to reach.

I recall that a group of people take a trip in some kind of caravan or campervan etc. They come across some kind of cult to do with witchery or Satanism or something like that. There's a sequence later in the film where they're driving along in their caravan / campervan type vehicle and members of the cult are pursuing them.

I'm looking for an older movie, something I remember watching back in the 60's or 70's. Possibly black and white, been too long to remember. The main part I remember is the main character lost his memory due to his car crashing into a tree that had fallen across a road on a dark and stormy night. Sometime later in the film, he begins to regain his memory and finds the tree he hit and discovers that the tree is controlled by a lever in the doorway of a house across the street. (I think I got all that right!)

The movie I am thinking about is about a male trying to solve certain kidnapping/murder cases. I believe he moves with a woman and her daughter in the community – there's a romantic relationship between them, and a conflict involving her accusing him of using her daughter as bait.
There are certain clues as to how the children are being kidnapped – they start talking about imaginary friends and having "snakes for supper." This is because the kidnapper builds up a relationship by playing with them, and he talks through a puppet(might have been a monkey, but I could be wrong) so they remember it and not him. The snakes are the red liquorice ropes. One of the last victims had drawn a picture at school showing the snakes and a castle, this castle is on the license plate of the kidnapper's car. There's also a scene where he's sitting and talking to a bunch of dolls, and the dolls are dressed in the children's clothes, and another where the school teacher asks if the girls had been "interfered with" (her words) and the dude says no.
In the end the bad guy is caught, the daughter is safe, and the couple is together, I think.
I'm sorry I have no idea what the fellow's actual interest in this case is. I saw this on television pre-2006, I believe.

Alright I'm having the hardest time remembering the name of an animated film. I remember it being that kind of 3d animation that still seems cartoon at the same time so I also guess early 2000's. The movie was set in future Washington (that's where the whitehouse is right? Sorry I'm Canadian) it started off with this one kid who was abused an an absolute genius and he created an artifical intelligence and then developed a game to identify kids who needed help like he did. Then there is a gameshow and something bad happens to these kids and they get evil and try to take over the whitehouse. Its been so long I honestly dont remember too much. I hope someone can help :)

Hi! I have a lost movie or tv show, can't remember which.
I can only remember one scene of the movie or tv show I'm thinking of. It was towards the end of it, and I'm fairly sure it was some kind of a detective show. It shows a young woman, dressed in white, up in a tower, I think it's light house. she is tied to a chair, and she is about to be strangled with a belt or rope by a man standing behind her. I seem to remember that the reason he's strangling her has something to do with a legend about strangling virgins at midnight every so many years. people are racing up the spiral staircase to save her, which they do. I want to say it was set in some older time, like the 20's or 40's, and I think it may have been in England. if anyone knows what tv show or movie this is, please reply! thanks
It sounds like "Night of the Hunter", with Robert Mitchum, an American flick from the 50s, based on the great book by Davis Grubb. The murderer has tattoos on the knuckles of both hands, not his wrist. The children are a boy and his sister. Try this – if nothing else its a great flick and a world class book.

Late 80's early 90's I think. This T.V. Special was announced as the last time it will ever air. The title slips my mind but I believe it had the word demon in it, staring Mel Gibson (Comedy/horror) Here are some of the events that I can remember.
the movie starts on a late evening, Mel is strolling along down the side walk and suddenly sees a woman on her door step. He immediately fall in love and tries to sweet talk her for a date, eventually he gets a date and she goes into her apartment frustrated yet happy with a smile. Mel is pleased as he does a little dance and gets bit by a small demon (puppet) from behind a fenced-in shrub beside her stairs. Thinking it's just a small animal that caused it and still high on his luck, he makes it home and at midnight he turns into a red demon with small horns (very funny stuff) and by the morning he reverts back to a human "It must of been a dream".
As the movie progresses He discovers he only turns into a demon at precisely 12 midnight and finds a fortune teller or psychic that tells him its a curse, then for a few days he struggles with how to handle the curse and his upcoming date. The following weekend he goes on his date and at the end she invites him in for a drink all the while, minutes to midnight, and trying to keep the date from going horribly bad he attempts to hide it (insert comedy routine).
At the end of the movie he's almost a full demon fighting the demon master on-top of a building and the woman is smack dab in the middle of it. He has to defeat the demon master to break the curse. She's hanging from the ledge and falls, Mel sprouts wings and saves her, now a full blown demon he defeats the demon master. the curse is broke and that's the end.
Please, someone must know this movie.
Absolutely, it was the second time I saw it. The fist time I caught the end of it and noticed him but wasn't sure, the second time was by pure luck. I watched the full show and sure enough I saw his name in the credits...just wish I had a VHS tape to recode it at the time. I kinda did but was to late as it had already started.
You know how those VCR's and tapes are. I fumbled with the tape, got it in the VCR hmm won't recode, tabs missing..find another, getting frustrated. Place the tape in and press record. Oh no! is it on channel three or is it 4? stop rewind record. hmm is the cable going through the t.v. or the VCR. I give up, who wants to watch two thirds of a movie.
My wife and I bonded over the fact that we remembered seeing this movie as children in school. I have spent several fruitless hours searching – here goes.
The film must have been made in the 50s or 60s, because we saw it in India in the 70s. The only scene that we can remember features two boys in shorts wandering around. For some of the time, with a lion. And in the one scene that we both remember, they stop on a city street and one boy climbs on the other or on the lion and draws a bright yellow sun in the sky. As we saw it in school, the film would have to be in English.

A second film is in French – saw part on a channel in the mid 90s. Seemed rather light comedy – very well made. A man meets a prostitute on a train and would like to avail of her services, so they get off and hunt for a place. Only all the hotels they come across are full up. In another scene, he seduces his ex-wife and sleeps with her (no torrid sex scenes) and is later reprimanded by the ex-wife’s new boyfriend. All very civilized. Very French. And both the ladies (the professional and the ex-wife) were played by very lovely actresses.

hello everyone, I watched a movie once that I can't remember its name. I think it was made between the early 90's and the late 2000's. it took place in the usa, a man was travelling with a woman on horses or carage, this woman was to be his brother's wife, it was a kind of arranged marriage and it seemed like she never saw her husband before. the brother and the wife were travelling somewhere to the west, from what I can remember they seemed pioneers or cowboys and it was a long time ago like 18th or 19th century. They were very poor and had a couple of neighboors, they were very secluded and maybe near a lake. The two brothers and the wife lived in a tent, the two brothers lived alone for a while and then they decided that one of them should marry to have someone cook for them and make a family.
The married brother was abusive and he was forcing his wife to have anal sex and I remember a scene where the other brother who was the nice one staying at night outside the tent listening to her screaming and I think the other one bragged about it afterwards. And then the nice one slept with his brother's wife, I think they were in love.

I cannot remember much, but what I do remember it took place in a desert town. These boys found a hole in the ground, and when they put items in the hole, it would give them gifts like gold. I think it turned pretty grotesque at some point (like human sacrifice for even more gifts). I think the dad was a drunk, or abusive and he was put in the hole??

I distinctly remember one of the clues was a bottle of wine which the childless couple had given to the parents of the children. The parents used the location of the vineyard on the bottle to help locate their children.

Ok, so I've tired to Google search this movie and can't find anything on it. I only saw a brief clip but now can't even remember where I saw that. I cant remember much but it based in the future on presumably an alien planet/spacestation or possibly an alien friendly earth.
There are the human looking characters and a variety of aliens and the premise of the film is that there is a fight competition but in order make it fair between the different types of aliens/species a computer applies a handicap to the fighters.

Hello! I watched this movie in early 90s. There were a few parts. I remember a few scenes here and there.
scene 1 – this young lady saves a soldier and both of them fall in love. They were about to get married but he dies in war. He was a pilot i think. She then discovers that she is pregnant.
scene 2 – She is heavily pregnant wanders along the desert(not sure). There was this couple who will rescue her. they don't speak english. She delivers a baby boy. The couple will be killed by a group of horsemen i think. The young lady wanders again with her baby.
