2020 Advent Movie Calendar - 20
This one is a real subjective rating, and it more goes to the hectic and chaotic filmmaking that may very well be the defining point of a good Dogme-film, but it also made it harder to get emotionally involved in the presented story.
Cabin Fever shows a perfectly relatable situation, with a dysfunctional family that comes together for Christmas, where nothing actually goes well. The script (idk how much was improvised) feels so realistic, that it is easy to hear out some dialogues that will be familiar to anyone who has had a Christmas dinner with a larger family before.
