I love my neighborhood. The area is very quiet and family friendly. I like the fact that after a long busy day at work, I can come home and unwind without hearing loud music or cars and motor bikes revving down the block. I would like to see the county of Mount Vernon do a better job in repairing and maintaining the roads.
I am a current resent resident of Mt. Vernon, and it is a huge change from the city life. I really like and appreciate the space and quite it provides. I think what I would change the living conditions around. Provide better shelter options for the homeless as well as fix the roads and side streets.
I’ve lived in Mount vernon all my life. i work and go to school here. It’s a pretty safe environment for the most part but other parts not so much.
