Danny Leigh Financial Times Teetering on the brink of parody, then diving right in, this meat-headed action thriller asks how many terrible lines of dialogue can be squeezed into eight short minutes. Apr 10, 2020 Full Review Melanie McFarland Salon.com Classic "it gets better"-itis at work, and guess what? Even though the Quibi format makes every bite shorter, three Quibis still feels like an awfully long time to revving your engine in park. Apr 8, 2020 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times A dystopian, Detroit-set "Twilight Zone"-type thriller with an urban twist on "The Hunger Games." Rated: 3.5/4 Apr 6, 2020 Full Review M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut Most Dangerous Game is a standard, by the numbers feature (it is really a film) that is heightened by its new format. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 28, 2022 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM A solid chase thriller that has enough tense moments to make you commit to the next micro episode. Rated: 3/5 Mar 3, 2022 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix Most Dangerous Game clearly wants people to be wowed by the action and ignore all the problems in the screenplay ... Some of the dialogue is so bad that it's laughable. Apr 19, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Paul M Thankfully, I didn't watch this on Quibi. I was able to watch it as one continuous film on Amazon and it was entertaining from beginning to end. All movie long Liam Hemsworth does a phenomenal job of keeping his audience invested and I loved routing for him. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/18/23 Full Review slyc3 somewhat fun but the small episodes annoyed a bit. writing also wasn't that great and overall just generic Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/31/22 Full Review Audience Member I'm not sure why this is being described as a series. I saw it as one continuous film, and it was the regular run time of a feature-length movie. It was fairly entertaining. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review corkball I didn't realize this had started out as a series. I couldn't even tell this had been stitched together, although the every hour on the hour set up is reminiscent of '24'. This is an ok film. It has a pretty good cast, most notably Waltz is a great maestro asshole. The set up is pretty standard fare for action-thrillers these days - a man needs money so agrees to be hunted, and the whole thing goes off about like you would expect. Where this show fails is in the writing. There is nothing new here to really hook us - he doesn't have a 'special set of skills' or doesn't particularly do anything clever to survive. Additionally, there are little moments that just fall flat - why does the protagonist almost never take stuff off his defeated adversaries like weapons, money, ID or tools? Or how are the adversaries always hours ahead of him, already in costume? Just dumb. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Watched the Prime full-length movie edit. In my opinion, Most Dangerous Game is much better as a full-length movie instead of short-format episodes. The production value looks great, but some of the special effects are low budget. The action is good most of the time, but there were a few moments where I thought, "Really? You expect me to believe that?" Some of the dialogue is cringey and cheesy, but that's mostly the writing's fault. The story goes a little off the rails in the last act, injecting unneeded background lore and a twist. Overall it's a decent action B movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Levi J I watched it as a movie. I had no idea it was a series until it was finished. It was well paced, though there were a few comical contrivances. Overall one of the best Movies I've seen in a long time. If you enjoyed the 2007 film The Condemned you'll Enjoy this for sure.
