Morgan Stevens (1951–2022), “Fame,” “Melrose Place” actor

Morgan Stevens was an actor known for TV roles including drama teacher David Reardon on “Fame.”

Acting career

Stevens had early TV roles on “The Mod Squad,” “One Day at a Time,” and “Quincy M.E.” before landing a role on “The Waltons” as Paul Northridge. He appeared in just one episode of “The Waltons,” but he returned for three of the series’ TV movies, including marrying Erin Walton in “A Wedding on Walton’s Mountain.” His role on “Fame” began with the show’s second season and continued for three seasons. Stevens went on to star in the miniseries “A Year in the Life,” as well as the series that followed it,” and he had a recurring role on “Melrose Place” as attorney Nick Diamond. He had a minor recurring role on “Murder One” and made his final TV appearance on an episode of “Walker, Texas Ranger.”
