Monticello - Home of Thomas Jefferson
A historic 5,000-acre plantation, Monticello, the Home of Thomas Jefferson, is located near Waynesboro, in western Virginia. The third United States president resided in the historic home, the only one included on the United Nations' World Heritage list. The 11,000-square-foot home was constructed between 1769 and 1784 and remodeled between 1796 and 1809.
While at Monticello, partake in the House & Grounds Tour, a Behind-the-Scenes Tour, or a special Holiday Tour, to see the home that Jefferson built with its furnishings.
