MONSTER HUNTER 2020: WHAT IS THE MONSTER HUNTER MOVIE ABOUT?

Set in a world of dangerous and powerful monsters, Monster Hunter follows Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, and Diego Boneta) as they are transported to a new world via a mysterious sandstorm. In order to survive in this treacherous new environment, Artemis and her team join forces with a Hunter (Tony Jaa), who teaches them how to slay the monsters hell-bent on destruction.

WHAT IS THE MONSTER HUNTER RELEASE DATE?

Monster Hunter debuts today, Friday, December 18.

The action film was originally slated to premiere on September 4, but the release was pushed until April 2021, and then shifted back to Christmas Day. A few weeks ago, Sony pushed the Monster Hunter release date up one week, to December 18, after the film’s release in China.

IS MONSTER HUNTER STREAMING?

This is where things get tricky. Monster Hunter is currently airing in select theaters across the country, but it is not yet streaming on demand. However, the film is available for pre-order on Amazon Prime Video and Vudu, which lists the movie’s release date as December 25.
