Full job description

Responsibilities:
- Analyze construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges or opportunities
- Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and labor from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for clients
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable for the company
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide updates as needed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
