My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Conservatory at Crown several years ago and loved it as a venue. The outlook over the river and the quality of the buffet was always amazing. We hadn't been back for several years and I recently took my wife for her birthday.
The decor has been updated significantly since we were last here and it is an amazing space again. The open kitchen adds to the atmosphere and the range on offer was very good. The seafood was fantastic as always with a great selection of prawns, oysters, mussels, clams, plus sushi, Asian salads, cheeses and cold cuts. The selection of Asian dishes was okay, but only had a single curry, a single stir-fry type dish, plus roasted pork belly and duck and some dumplings. There was also some noodles and rice/vege dishes, but not quite the selection we were hoping for. The western dishes were also good, but again, a little limited for choices.
The dessert bar was also excellent, and the bubbles went down a treat.

Service was fantastic and good value for money.

Loved the sitting atmosphere but the food is too bland. Everything felt like its made in the same sauce as it tasted the same. They also need to increase what is offered on the buffet The desserts are yummy. They also have a list of halal desserts. (or desserts without gelatine) . Over all an average experience. I really hope they improve as its a great place to sit n eat.

We booked for the earlier seating at dinner (6.00pm) Every single staff member was excellent, attentive, courteous and helpful. The food is so beautifully displayed and the quality is next level. The choice is amazing and if you like fresh seafood, it is definetly a must. The dessert section was amazing, lots of little cakes, ice-cream, chocolate fountain (which was so delicious). The price is a tad expensive but worth the spend. Will return very soon.

The restaurant is quite luxurious with a ornate feel overlooking the Yarra which was beautiful at night with flames shooting up every hour. The staff were warm and professional and the food was just quality throughout --the crab, dumplings, vegetables desserts: everything presented and cooked to perfection. A lot of thought has gone into this: our cocktail was beautifully crafted, little bowl of blueberries were a standard above what could buy. Great for a special night.

fantastic lunch at conservatory on Saturday. Unlimited Chandon @15 bucks a head. We cleaned them out. Lunch 85 but worth it so. MuCh food and all amazing. Lots of seafood, main dishes, salads, and amazing desserts my favourite the chocolate fountain and Peking duck. Staff very accomodating and we had a great table at the window overlooking the Yarra we were the last to laave at 230 when they were setting up for afternoon tea.
