We are coming towards the end of our stay at Kalkan suites so thought I would write my review now instead of maybe doing it when I get home. The location is perfect p, very central to everything, good supermarkets, greengrocers and bakery within 5 minutes walk. I really wouldn't want to be any further up the hill after a some of the great meals we have had. Rooms are excellent. Really well equipped with free toiletries and cleaned to a brilliant standard every day. Fresh towels and frequent linen changes, and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Room 301 has a breathtaking view of the village and sea, perfect for a nightcap. I can't believe we struck it so lucky. Brilliant job by all the team.

I've never complained about a hotel this one took the biscuit. The always smiling Nazan (pretending to be your friend )was a liar about our room. She refused to move us.And beware they are not so smiling if you encounter a problem. The owners(Tekin& Banu) were never there . Kalkan is a lovey town but will never go back. The staff(Ergun I think the name) was disgraceful who is talking to your breasts! Ruined by Kalkan Suites.

We have stayed at this hotel 5 times now and we would not venture elsewhere. It has a perfect location for views, with good proximity to restaurants, bars and the town. The rooms are quite large, airy and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The staff are warm, friendly and obliging. The Manager, Nazan, works tirelessly to meet every need and her teatime cakes, BBQs, and celebration parties work well to set an enjoyable atmosphere. Samira Garden is excellent value for money and provides a wonderful base for a Kalkan holiday. The only problem is that it is so popular that most guests are returning guests and it is difficult to find availability.

We have visited this hotel as we have said before many times. We visited this year for the eighth time and how things have changed! We have always thought this hotel has developed over the years and had become a lovely small hotel with a great atmosphere. WEll over the winter it has moved on to a fantastic place to stay. Now its a complex of eight luxury suites and the standard of those suites is amazing. You still have Banu and Tekin on hand making you welcome and making sure everything is to your satisfaction, and Chef is there in case you dont want to cook at any time. But the suites are fitted out to a fantastic standard many have amazing views with up to three balconies. They are spacious and kept ultra clean each day with a daily change of towels and if your lucky the odd

We went in May and found the Hotel to be of a high quality. The service was second to none, the staff could not do enough for you. The food was as good as any of the restaurants in the town. As per the previous review there was a slight issue with the water temperature but it only required a deft touch to get the required temperature. I say patience is a virtue. Kalkan as an area is a delight It is a very hilly area situated around a small harbour. The hotel is perfectly situated to avoid nearly all the cardiac arrest inducing hills. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will use it again if i can get in. On a lighter note I never saw a single towel at 5am by the poolside. Marvellous. Oh and breakfast was good.

We stayed here in early September 2009 and found our room VERY small. The shower leaked and we had to use all the towels everyday to mop the flood, er floor. Only 1 light in the bathroom worked above the sink so you had to shower before it got dark. We talked to other guests who had panoramic views and jacuzzi baths. Nearly all the other rooms were bigger. The hotel was clean. We were on half board and the only people for the first week. The menu was very limited, lamb, chicken or salad. They wouldn't let us swap dinner for lunch even though it would have been cheaper for them to do so. The owners were often at the hotel and didn't speak or acknowledge us. The manager on the other hand was touchy feely and forever taking snaps of everyone. She made us feel uncomfortable. The

Small hotel (15 rooms) - TICK! spotlessly clean - TICK! Friendly, attentive staff - TICK! Good location, just minutes from the old town and harbour - TICK! Pool with sun-loungers and parasols - TICK! Bar - TICK! Value for money - TICK! The Samira Garden is my type of hotel and as far as I'm concerned everything I am looking for in a resort hotel of this type is to be found there. Being small in capacity the hotel is quiet and the pool area never crowded so there are always adequate sun-loungers and parasols. It also means that the staff soon get to know you and give you their best attention without being "pushy". The manageress, Naz, Ali, Hakkan, Kenny and the rest were absolutely superb at making their guests feel welcome without delivering the hard sell that one can find at

We stayed at the Samira Garden Hotel in September and what a real gem this hotel is! The hotel is spotless with the rooms cleaned every day as well as fresh towels everyday. The staff especially Nazan are very friendly and will do anything to make sure you have a pleasant stay, there's even homemade cake! Whilst staying at their sister hotel last year we came across this hotel which is smaller but much nicer, there's always spare sunloungers around the lovely pool area. The hotel is in the perfect posistion for all the fabulous restaurants bars and beach clubs of Kalkan. We were only home 3 days when we booked again for next year!!

We stayed at the Samira Garden for 2 weeks in August - we got a really cheap deal with Thomas Cook and having visited Kalkan before we knew the hotel was really well placed for town etc and in a lovely area. The rooms were cleaned every day and the roof terrace where you have breakfast had great views. The hotel is simple but has everything you need and has a lovely pool area and bar with a terrace looking into town. We were staying B&B as there are so many places to eat in town and the breakfast was fine. The staff were very friendly and generally the atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed - there were things like BBQ nights but you were free to join in or not - so no pressure. The only disapointment was that we only had a tiny balcony - no room for a chair even - but

Hi Lisa we booked through Olive Tree Travel who were fantastic you can see on their website whether or not the suite you want is available.. to be honest it was more expensive according to their price board to book directly with the hotel. They booked our private transfers which were £120.00 wud have been a lot more expensive with local taxi's im sure we dealt with Debbie at Olive Tree and she always e-mailed or called me back immediately. I noticed the previous answer said the bathroom is thru a bedroom i looked at all the suites and it depends which suite you go for whether or not that is the case! Be careful with a couple of the balconies tho you wud struggle with 4 people on the pool view ones im pretty sure it was suite 3 that I thought was by far the best for room and two great balconies Any more questions don't hesitate to ask you wud love it enjoy
