Former student of MHS, and so very grateful for the experience to see when it was predominantly white school, now the demographics has change and it’s still a powerful presence for student achievement and faculty engagement! I love the school and its stride for excellence.
Miramar High School might have been the best 4 years of my life. I was a student in the IB program where i was able to gain college credits and learn so many ways to better my college experience. While at Miramar High School I joined the band and was a member for three years. My first year I played the clarinet and for my last two years I was a majorette (baton twirling). I will forever be thankful to the IB program and band because I was able to meet people who after three years of being out of high school I can still call a friend. I would have to say the worse part about being at Miramar is the seclusion I felt while being in the IB program. If not for band and other extracurricular activities I never would have had to the opportunity to interact with students and teachers who are not associated with the program. I hope in the future the school is able to recognize this and make it possible for IB students to interact with other students so that they can have a good experience.
Hello my name is Trinity sims I have been attending Miramar high school since my grade grade year I love the prep rallies we have it’s very fun and we can get involved with the school and our peers , I love the football games we can attend in Friday nights , I also love the involvement of the teachers and staff at the school , something I don’t like is the way the students act out and get into fights that’s the only bad thing about the school I will be a senior in August and I am a proud to be 4-year patriot .
