Oliver, a young film director, discovers on a porn Web site one night that the protagonist of one of the erotic videos is his younger half-sister Aurora. In the process of finding out what she was doing there, Oliver will become fascinated by his sister.

Oliver a filmmaker living in LA, one night while browsing porn he comes across a familiar face; his beautiful, younger half-sister, Aurora. As he arrives in Spain meeting with Aurora you soon expect a sight of disapproval and confrontation but instead Oliver decides to investigate Aurora and how she ended up on that site. I like to watch movies that push the boundaries, and this film definitely tackles some taboo subjects while making the viewer rather uncomfortable. I can't say that I enjoyed the movie overall, but it sure as hell wasn't afraid to be fucked up. Definitely a different type of fantasy world for the actress from Pan's Labyrinth.
Since the film deals with interesting taboo subjects such as incest, voyeurism, and obsession, I expected something bold, shocking, and thought-provoking. Instead, “Demonios tus ojos” is tame, boring, and forgettable, with characters, who act incomprehensibly. Ivana Baquero (Ofelia from “Pan´s Labyrinth”) is a talented cutie, so the one star is for her, but aside from her, there is nothing remarkable about this movie. A wasted chance, since the premise had potential.
Wait…he’s not…he isn’t trying to…what? Wait, what?! Oh nooooooooooooo. WTF are you doing, Oliver??! WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?!! POR QUE?!?! (Accurate portrayal of my reactions as the story progressed.)
Ok, so I legit went into this totally blind. Had no idea what this was about lol. The logline piqued my interest and so I wanted to check it out. And...let's just say that the story definitely wasn’t what I thought it would be. 😨😵
Aside from hyper-focusing on the tabooness of the taboos this movie explores, I think the movie itself is decent, though lacking in a few crucial areas/aspects, especially when it comes to the final confrontation between Oliver and Aurora - a major let down.

Tiene un mal prólogo y pierde toda la sangre una vez alcanza su clímax lógico - pun very much intended - pero durante el 60% del tiempo restante es uno de los pocos ejemplos de erotismo que entiende que el tabú y la transgresión han de prohibirse porque resultan irresistiblemente atractivos. Libidinosa y viciada de manera casual y sin subrayar, como un Brisseau a la vez autoconsciente de su vicio y sin necesidad de justificarlos en exceso. Casi molesta que no sea ligeramente mejor porque todo su tramo central aguanta con un pulso sostenido perfectamente equilibrado. Acertadísimo el casting de Baquero, pieza central de todo esto.

Watchable but forgettable.
"Sister of Mine" touches on a number of taboo subjects (incest, voyeurism, and more) in the sleepiest way since Dan Salitt's "The Unspeakable Act". The film looks very nice but never really goes anywhere. This is an "art film" without a point. Because of this, "Sister of Mine" feels more exploitative than the creators probably intended.
