Q:
Do they take reservations?
A:
No. You have to go in and check in at the front table and they will put your name on the waitlist and text you when the table is ready. There are shops nearby so we went shopping until they messaged us.

Great food and service but it is always very busy with wait times as long as 2.5 hours sometimes. Recommend going early on a weekday if you don't want to wait an eternity to get a seat

I really loved how this spot offers a variety of foods from healthy quinoa bowls to comfort food chicken and waffles! With their vast menu, there's at least one item for each person in our group (14 people). You know it's good because this place is PACKED. We ended up having to wait an hour for a table, which was fine because we just arrived in town so we strolled around the area.
Our waitress was super attentive and helpful giving recommendations on her favorites.
Ben's Bread Spread ($13): we got 2 for the table and tbh I was pretty stuffed from this alone. There were 2 types of bread, a croissant, and a cinnamon bun (all v delicious and fresh) and different spread options.
Shakshuka ($14): I usually opt for eggs benny when I get brunch, but this was def a good decision. The eggs were perfectly runny and I especially loved the hot pepper jam.
Bee's Knees ($11): recommended by the waitress. def my fave drink here in Nashville bc it's not too sweet
Citrus Sangria ($7): you can never go wrong with white wine sangria
TL;DR GO TO MILK & HONEY DEF WORTH 1HOUR WAITHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Tracy J.Cocoa Beach, FL9371Sep 21, 2022
Food and service were great. I recommend the chicken and waffles. My daughter had a massive bacon, egg , and cheese biscuit that we also recommend.

WE LOVE TOMMY!!! Came to Milk & Honey and had the most wonderful experience with the group. The drinks were good, the food was delicious, and our waiter Tommy was so awesome. He made us feel like friends & had the best recommendations.

TLDR - Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful
This place had everything you'd want from a breakfast/brunch restaurant. Pastries, croissants, biscuits, eggs, potatoes, great coffee, boozy drinks, platters big and small.
I got the milk and honey latte to start and that has to be the best coffee drink I've ever had in my life. I think the honey was infused in the boiling milk or something, but it was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, while still having the full flavor of coffee.
Then my gf and I shared the pulled pork biscuit and the breakfast hash. Both absolutely phenomenal. The biscuit specifically was one of the best, and it was unexpectedly big. Like giant burger buns pretty much. The hash was a mix of potatoes, sausage, feta cheese, onions and peppers, some other stuff, and an egg to top off the whole skillet of gustatory fireworks.
Milk and honey will go down as one of my favorite breakfast restaurants ever.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Theresa S.Round Rock, TX67169Apr 17, 2022
Milk and Honey was unfortunately pretty disappointing. We waited over an hour for our table, which wasn't terrible but after we were sat it took another 10-15 minutes for our server to come around. When we finally ordered it took another 40-45 minutes to receive our food. Only one out of our party of six had gotten a hot meal. The rest of ours was served cold. My partner and I had both gotten lattes and our friends had gotten the mimosas and sangria. All of the drinks were very good, though!

Milk and Honey is one of the newer (opened in 2017) trendy additions to the Gulch brunch scene. They have a register with a to-go option for coffee and tea drinks and sweets like pastries, macarons and gelato. Milk and Honey also offers a sit-down restaurant side of the establishment if you plan to stay a while.
Pros:
-Very aesthetically pleasing environment. The ambiance is the best thing about this place as it is very well-done.
-Service. When we arrived it was early and we were seated right away. Our server did a good job taking care of us.
-Breakfast and lunch is served all day--I appreciate places that offer you more options!
Cons:
-We found the food to be mediocre. I ordered the avocado toast and a side of fruit. The avocado toast was under-seasoned, had an oddly strong vinegar-like taste and I don't think it had the caramelized onions on it at all (or if it did I didn't taste it). It had a sundried tomato spread on it which would have been a nice touch except that I really couldn't get the flavors from this either. The toast was okay but just didn't really meet my expectations given that all of those flavors should have really popped out and elevated the dish. My mom got the farmhouse biscuit because the server raved about the biscuits. She said the biscuit really wasn't anything special and felt really so-so about her dish as well. She left about half of her meal on her plate and didn't finish it.
Overall, we really wanted to like Milk and Honey more than we did since the food was just lackluster. If I did come back it would be perhaps just for a coffee and a pastry to try my luck with these. From their pretty display at the register, I think these look enticing!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 15, 2020
Stopped in without doing much research or reading the reviews for a bite to eat before a show. The atmosphere is very trendy and what you would expect in the gulch. The menu is very limited for dinner so don't expect to much and just make a choice it's to late to leave.
Well I guess I'll try the melrose pizza, my son the Bolognese, daughter a chicken salad and wife spicy pizza .
The pizza is definitely an acquired taste. My wife loved the sour dough crust. Me on the other hand didn't care for it. It was soft and doughy, like it wasn't cooked. The flavor wasn't bad, but just not my thing when I think of pizza.
The Bolognese mmm the noodles were good but the red sauce is very tomatoey and I could make a better flavor at home.
Overall it's not a good choice for dinner. I would of thought at $107 for a family of four we would have had decedent food. I was pretty disappointed. But that's on me for not reading the reviews. If you read the reviews it seems like this maybe a good spot for breakfast and brunch but not dinner.
The server was sort of slow however the food came fast.
Maybe one day we will try breakfast or lunch, but it's not likely based on the first experienceHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
