Hercules and Goliath posters!

Spanning the years 1932 - 1970 "Mighty Movies" is a visual treat for movie lovers like myself. Packed from cover to cover with around 200 vintage posters of Biblical epics, swashbucklers and sword and sandal spectacles like HERCULES UNCHAINED and GOLIATH AND THE DRAGON. I couldn't help but dream about how wonderful it must have been to watch all these movies in the theater.

In addition to all the great posters Bassoff has added lots of information about the movies themselves. One interesting fact I learned was in 1912 the Astor Theatre in Manhattan raised it's ticket price from 15 cents to $1.50 for Guazzoni's now lost QUO VADIS!

if you like movie posters then buy this book, there some great posters like Quo Vadis,Northwest Passage.Ivanhoe, Scaramouche,and many more there's about 22 posters size 11"+8",and about 78 posters size 6"+4" some smaller ones a few lobby cards some big some small .there's some writing about the films history , most of the posters are English about 10 italian posters.152 pagers about 104 pictures great book
