Michael R. Green

Michael R. Green Lansing Age 89, died March 12, 2016. Born January 6, 1927 in Edgehill, MO. Mr. Green retired from Oldsmobile after 33 years of service as an electrician and skilled trades supervisor. He also served in the U.S. Navy in both WW II and the Korean conflict. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was always involved in Boy Scouts and later in life enjoyed traveling in his Avion trailer. Surviving are his 3 sons, Michael (Karon) Green, Pat (Jan) Green, and Tim (Denise Bell) Green; 2 step-children, Kelly and Tom; 7 grandkids, Nathan, Anna, Aaron, Andrew, Kayla, Chelsea, and Charles and 2 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his 2 wives, Bethel, and Karen; 3 brothers, Bert, Bob, and Ted. Visitation is from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday with services 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, in the Tiffany funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor James E. Robinson officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with military honors by Morley Oates V.F.W. Post #701. In lieu of flower, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Michael Green.
