Dr. Michael T. Green, age 81, of Schaumburg, died November 17, 2021 surrounded by family. Beloved father of Michael Joseph (Stacey Westbrook) and Shawna Kathleen. Proud grandfather of Morrison McCloud, Morgan Tippet, and Michael Tippet. Dear brother of Dr. Packey (Tyke) Green and Eileen (Mike) O’Leary and his nieces and nephews: Michael Green, Margaret Cambria, Eileen Scheffler, Erin (Jonah) Ellen, Pat (Rene) Green, Katie Green, Mary O'Leary, Molly Green, Katie Pasko, Al "Raymond" Pasko, Eileen Scheffler, Jack, Mary Kate, Anthony and Connor Cambria, Lizzie and Seamus Green, Maura, Laird, and Brennan Scheffler, Kerri Ellen, Mary, Sean P. O'Leary, and Liam, and Seamus Reilly, Claire, and Michael Pasko. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mary Ellen (nee O’Brien) Green; his niece, Annie Green and his nephew, Matt Scheffler. Dr. Michael T. Green was an Irish Christian Brother from 1962-1964. He was also a Lieutenant with the United States Navy from 1966-1972. He had his own dental practice from 1978-2019. He was known for his chair side banter and endless files of personalized articles for you to read at any given moment, regardless of subject matter.  He always had something for you to read whether you wanted it or not.  The treasure chest, the fishing stories, The Chicago Sting, The Chicago Fire, avid soccer fan, collector of artwork and Tiffany lamps are all things he enjoyed.  He was also known for keeping cards and artwork from family and patients.  Little did we know at the time he was creating his legacy and collecting items to mail to his family members later in life when they were all forgotten about.  His constant and creative way of making you feel loved was both endearing and comical.   A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23rd. from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Bucaro Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 485 West Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale, Illinois 60108. Funeral Services are on Wednesday, November 24th. at 10:00 AM at Bucaro Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
