Brian Coyle

Corfeyhone, Ballyhaise, Cavan, H12 P7F8

Brian Coyle, Corfeyhone, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan. Monday, April 15th 2024, unexpectedly. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Majella and his devoted adoring children Eleanor and Eimear, Liam and James. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sisters Mary C (Peter Reilly), Bridie McBreen, brothers Paddy, Seamus and Sean, nieces, nephews, colleagues, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence tomorrow, Thursday, from 2pm until removal on Friday, to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 12noon, burial afterwards in Drung Cemetery. A bus will run from the carpark of Castletara Community Centre to the house.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Ballyjamesduff Cancer Society, in care of PJ Brady, Funeral Director or donation box at Church door.

Ultan Flynn

Copponagh, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Ultan Flynn, Copponagh, Virginia, Co Cavan. Ultan passed away peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret and brother in law Pat. Beloved brother of Mary, Colette and Gerard. Deeply regretted by his brother in law Denis, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives and friends.

Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Lurgan on Thursday, 18th April at 7pm. Funeral mass at 11am on Friday, 19th April, followed by burial in Virginia Old Cemetery.

Geraldine Callan

(née Rooney)

The death has occurred of Geraldine Callan (née Rooney) Tuesday, April 16th , in Louth County Hospital, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness borne with great dignity and strength. Predeceased by her husband Joe, infant son Shane, parents Larry and May. Geraldine will be sadly missed by her loving children, Colin (Sharon), Niall (Bernie), Nadine (Liam Hayes) Australia, Clodagh (Brian McCabe), Kevin (Lianne) and Stephen (Amy), grandchildren Ryan, Callum, Sophie, Carla, Jack, Rebecca, Joseph, Chloe, Amy, Penny, Pearl, Pablo, Kyle, Lucy, Luke, Darcy and Ruby, brothers and sisters Thomas, Noel, Anthony, Pat, Rose McMullen and Carmel, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at her home A81 AX79 Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th, removal on Friday morning the 19th at 10:15am,

Geraldine's funeral cortege will leave Carricklane turning right at Oghill Cross & travelling through Kiltybegs lane continuing to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy Inniskeen, arriving for 11am funeral Mass. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan, everyone welcome.

The death has occurred of John Leonard, Annagoes, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan (H18 DP80). John passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home, Tuesday, 16th April 2024. Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine (Quigley), his parents Teresa and John Leonard, nephew Mark and his sister-in-law Doreen. Cherished and much loved father of John and Katie. John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his son, daughter, sisters and brothers, James, Ann, Tommy, Tony, Mickey, Mary, Andy, Frank, Teresa and Stephen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, his many friends and by all who knew and loved John.

Monaghan (H18 DP80), Thursday, 18th, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th, from 4pm to 9pm with removal on Sunday afternoon 21st at 12.45pm to arrive at St Mary's Chapel, Aghabog, for 1.30pm Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time on Sunday, please.

The death has occurred of Michael Marron. Trostan, Dundalk Road, Carrickmacross. 16th April 2024. Unexpectedly, at his home.

Predeceased by his parents Peter & Chris, his sister Kay and recently by his brother Frank (31st March 2024).

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his wife Elmar, his sons David & Stephen (Mairead) and his daughter Rachel (Jonathon), his much-loved grandchildren Chloe & Rowan, his brothers PJ (Stacey) & Paul (Linda), his aunt Ann, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Michael will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 18th April, from 4pm until 8pm.

Michael's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Friday, 19th April, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Brendan McKenna, Coolcolid House, Glaslough, Co Monaghan, H18 EC58 and The Pillar House, Glaslough, suddenly on Tuesday 16th April. Pre-deceased by his father Peter, mother Sadie, brothers Laurence & John and daughter Carol Ann. Unexpectedly in Cavan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband Mack and brother Frank. Loving mother to Aine (Trevor), Frank (Bernie) and Elaine (Damien), grandmother to Amy, Jimmy, Lily and Emily, sister to Dympna (Twin Sister), Sadie, Evelyn, Patsy, Seamus, Sean and Eugene.

Reposing at her home today (Wednesday) from 7.00pm until 10.00pm and again tomorrow (Thursday) from 12 noon until 10.00pm. House private at all other times please. Removal on Friday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Knockatallon for funeral Mass at 11.00 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Urbleshanny, Scotstown.

There will be a shuttle bus service available from 7.00pm to 10.00pm this evening (Wednesday) and again tomorrow from 4.00p.m. to 10.00pm from the Sliabh Beagh Hotel to the McKenna family home for all those wishing to attend the wake. A one way system will be in place, entrance via Knockatallon and exiting via Killcarnan.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters, son, their partners, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, sister-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and entire family circle.

The death has occurred of Niall McQuaid, Augherakelton, Scotstown, Co.Monaghan, H18 DW71. Tuesday 16th April, peacefully at The Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Pre-deceased by his son Baby Liam and parents Frank & Roseanna.

Niall will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ursula, children Aoibhéann, Róisín & Finn, Niall’s brothers Aidan (Monica), Declan (Bronwen), Marcus, Jonathan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Prunty (nee Masterson) Martha, died peacefully at Home surrounded by her loving family 17th April 2024. Beloved wife of the late Eugene, loving mother to Eugene and Elaine, a much loved mother-in-law to Julieann, grandmother to Amy and Eugene, much loved aunt to all her nephews and nieces. R.I.P. Martha’s remains will leave her late home 5 Ladybrook Parade on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 12.00 Noon for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St Michaels Church followed by burial in City Cemetery. St Pio Pray for her. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle.
