Who is Micah Projects?
Micah Projects is a not-for-profit organisation in Brisbane dedicated to creating justice and responding to injustice in our community.
We believe that every child and adult has the right to a home, healthcare, education, income, safety, dignity, and meaningful connection.
Together with our community and government partners, we provide a range of integrated support and advocacy services tailored to each person's unique needs and capacity.
Through our work, we hope to create a safe, equitable and inclusive community.
The five years of Micah contact was a massive support. You just can’t do it by yourself. There were lots of stepping stones and they were there to listen to me and help me on the journey.
How you can help
No one should experience homelessness, violence, discrimination, isolation or have their foundational human needs unmet. And yet, every day, we support Brisbane community members through such adversity. But we cannot do this work alone.
We are so grateful for the generous and unwavering support we receive from our partners, supporters, and the local community. People just like you.

The Micah people were like these amazing good Samaritans. It was such a relief for me to know the kids and I had somewhere to stay. Helping us find a place to stay was great, but what they did was so much more. They helped us buy food when we didn’t have food. They helped us pay rent when there wasn’t enough money. They always visited us to check the kids and I were okay...

Katie McGuire 'Touching Paint' Art Exhibition Event
Touching Paint' is an exhibition of recent art works by local artist, Katie McGuire, presented by Micah Projects and the United Artists Project. Official opening event on Thursday 11 April, 5-7pm at Hope Street Cafe at Shop1/15 Hope Street South Brisbane. The exhibition runs from 4 to 26 April 2024 and is free to all.

Spread the warmth Event
This Mother’s Day, you can support a mother who’s fled domestic violence and is living in crisis accommodation. Micah Projects - Brisbane Domestic Violence Service are seeking the donations of brand new, unwrapped robes to help isolated mothers. Can you help? Donations can be dropped off at one of our dedicated drop off points across Brisbane up until Friday 03 May 2024.
