MGM National Harbor garners appreciation for its spotless environment and contemporary rooms, though some guests have called out the limited views and noise levels. The hotel's atmosphere is dynamic and luxurious, yet light and noise have been points of contention. Service experiences are a mixed bag, with commendations for staff professionalism but grievances about hospitality and responsiveness. While the amenities are extensive, the value proposition is questioned due to high costs and unexpected fees. Its location, however, is consistently praised for convenience to local attractions.

We stopped here for one night only. We didn't stay at the property because the room rates for a Thursday night in the middle of a pandemic were over $300. The property is nice. They have plexiglass walls at the table separating the players and the dealers. It does make for a safer environment but they wouldn't let my wife and I sit together so we couldn't even talk to each other through the plexiglass with our masks on. Takes away from the environment. There were also vino $15 table and only a couple $25 tables on a Thursday afternoon. Much of the floor was $100 min bet and yet there is a separate high roller room. Even given the safety precautions the table itself was filthy and appeared as if it hadn't been vacuumed in forever. Very mixed feelings about this place.

This was SO easy to get to with AMPLE (covered) parking for even "self-park". Plenty to do in surrounding area when weather is nice. Unlike MGM Vegas though - with the outside water activities there's less to do when inside for a few days in winter here on the east coast.

I stayed on the 8th. And 2 days later they charge me $80.00 extras so I called them on the 14th to see what's happening and this lady said it was from the mini bar . Late that day she called back and said it's OK since I haven't touch anything from the mi fridge they will refund me $55.00 only because the $25.00 resort fee . But I said you charged me that on my room reservation and with no reason she hung up on me. I never thought this brand will allow something like that

This was my first time staying at this hotel & I was excited to stay there. Considering the room rate that I was charged I had high expectations. The guy that checked me in was not welcoming or overly friendly. Upon entering my room and checking it out, I was surprised to see that there was no soap or shower gel in the shower. There was only one small round bar soap on the vanity for washing hands. I informed the housekeeper that there was no soap in the shower, she replied "we do not provide soap in the shower" What? Really? If the Ritz Carlton provides shower soap (Beekman 1802) I might add, why doesn't MGM..absolutely ridiculous. If that wasn't enough, the light bulb was out in the water closet & no one came to replace it. The exterior light on the building at my room was flickering. But at night it was light a strobe light even with the room darkening drapes being closed. This place is not deserving of me spending my money!!

I have already described the problem twice. We ordered in-room breakfast on Sunday, 02/16/20. Our order arrived without two items that we paid for. We called room service and they promptly sent those items to us. However, when we got home we found out that MGM National Harbor charged us service fees twice, including charging us service fee for the bringing the missing breakfast items they forgot to bring the first time. This is disgraceful for an establishment! When we called the MGM National Harbor customer service to request removal of the unnecessary service fee, the automated message said we should call on business hours.

I recently stayed at MGM National Harbor this past Sunday and Monday night. This was my first time actually staying in the hotel and I was honestly very disappointed. I was placed in a room next to someone that had a dog. This dog barked both nights and all throughout the night. I was not able to sleep at all. Every time I would enter or leave my room the dog would bark uncontrollably. I called the front desk after the first night and was told that I could move rooms. I declined because I’m the one who’s inconvenienced. I would have to pack up my belongings along with my toiletries and snacks and that was a bit much considering it would have only been for one more night. The day of checkout I turned in my rooms cards and was asked how my stay was. I replayed the story to the lady that was assisting. She was very apologetic, she explained that your policy states service animals only. This dog was by no means a service dog. I encountered the dog owner and the dog once in the elevator. The dog was jumping up and down and barking the whole ride. The owner mentioned that “she’s friendly and I could pet her if I’d like”. Well, service dogs are identifiable and do not act unruly and you aren’t suppose to pet them. There really needs to be a better screening in place for your pet policy. I am a huge animal lover and own a handful myself. I do not blame the dog. She was just being a dog. The fault lies with the owner. If you have money to gamble, then you should be able to make sure your pets have proper arrangements made. It’s not fair to inconvenience others. Also, the hotel is partially to blame as well.

Visited Maryland and saw that there were 6 casinos in the state. This one was the furthest South, so we took a little drive to see this beautiful building. The parking garage was equipped with sensors, telling how many spots were available and approximately where they were located, pretty neat if working properly. Also, it reeked of urine! Upon entering the casino, it was big, expansive and crowded. You could never guess that it was a Monday at 4pm. Clear signs everywhere to direct you where you want to go. Couldn’t sit to play any table games because the minimums were $25!!! So many dealers just standing around with nothing to do at their $50 minimum tables. We were terribly disappointed and left after taking a lap around.

Great Staff and hospitality. Everyone was extremely helpful and conversational. Great group of personalities, never a dull moment.

When I say everyone, I mean everyone. Even the lady cleaning the rooms stopped cleaning and came out the room to kindly thank us for staying and welcomed us back.

Yes. The rooms have Keurigs and hair dryers. If you need more pods than the ones they have left in the room, they gladly bring you more or you can get them from the housekeeping staff while they are servicing rooms on your floor. Hope this helps.
