Mercer Island School District continues to thrive and maintain a high standard for student achievement in and out of the classroom. In the 2022-23 school year, we emphasized three core tenets: amplify our message and promise of a dynamic education, elevate our system and practices to deliver an even better school experience, and develop a school district to thrive. We strive to not only be recognized as the top school district in the state of Washington but also to be a point of pride for our community, staff, and students.

The community approved the 2022 the Enrichment and Capital-Technology levies with the highest approval margins in the state, communicating the value Islanders place on education. We are grateful for the community endorsement and pledge to elevate the school district-today, tomorrow, together.
