Very sad. My personal coworkers at my job were amazing and hard working. The only department I saw that took pride in their job.

Great people, great flexibility.
Sales Staff (Current Employee) - Crystal Lake, IL - January 2, 2023
I'd like to see a larger paycheck every 2 weeks, but that's kinda just a me problem, I guess. The people are by far the best part of the job, I've made some good friends here and wouldn't trade it for the world. I don't see myself staying here for a career, but it's a nice high school/college job.
Pros
Great people, very flexible scheduling.
Cons
Not so great pay, 10 cent raises every 3 months.

Returns Processor and cashier (Current Employee) - Alexandria, MN - November 16, 2022
The pay is good if you are full time or a manager. For me the work is boring, without purpose and could be done by a robot. Why there are no self checkouts is beyond me. They watch every step you make on camera it’s creepy. I haven’t done anything wrong I just get creeped out that they watch closely everything.
Pros
Pay
Cons
BORING no purpose

Poor management
Sales Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Warsaw, IN - September 1, 2022
Some departments are managed so poorly. You can only do so much without their support. Don't bother asking for help, if you do then you're causing problems.

Not a bad place
Retail Management (Current Employee) - Coon Rapids, MN - August 23, 2022
People are great to work with. Management has tended to be the only issues ever encountered; lots of inconsistency in style, where it flips from being praise and direction to derision and chastisement.

Decent place to work.
Cashier and Customer Service (Former Employee) - Rochester, MN - July 31, 2022
I was able to choose my hours as quite a permanent schedule because I was n.y part time, no benefits. I also worked some off shifts if they needed help. Give a little get a little! I worked quite well with all management, and most people. I always enjoyed my customers, and got to know a lot of regulars! To me, it was a fun job.
Pros
I believe management does try their best to accommodate most people and their schedules.
Cons
I believe their “points system” needs some gray area for people who are seldom delinquent, and follow the rules! I could go into long stories of people who deserve it, and those that don’t, but I was told “rules are rules”!

Easy going attitude generally.
Stocker (Former Employee) - Fishers, IN - July 21, 2022
Corporate structure does not allow managers to make decisions regarding employees. Very rigid and unable to make compromises. Very good place to work unless there is any misunderstanding.
Pros
Casual attitude and friendly coworkers
Cons
Corporate structure rigid like many large companies

You are expendable.
Sales Coordinator (Former Employee) - Independence, MO - June 28, 2022
It is with deep regret I must say this is the absolute worst company I have ever worked for. The Management has extensive training about product, finance, and display set up. No corporate focus is given to leadership, staff development and effective training. I overheard my manager say we had a 96% turnover rate and he didn't appear concerned. While I don't know if this is true, the treatment of staff is pitiful at best.
Pros
you do get a weekly paycheck
Cons
read the review. Too much to cover here
