Audience Member Not very good or believable or funny . Acting wasn’t terrible but the script kinda was 2.1 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/29/21 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst films I have ever seen. Terrible dialogue, annoy characters, and thin plot make it almost unwatchable. Having a straight character turn the lesbian straight was so offensive and mind boggling. I don't know how this was even green lit to be made. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This is not a film that is carefully curated in any way and taking note of that is key to enjoying this film. The characters are sloppy and wild, which to me is an attempt to subvert your run-of-the-mill heterosexual romantic comedies by throwing the age-old sentimental style out the window. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I actually really liked it. It was visually interesting and told a surprisingly compelling story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This film may be insane and may not work for some people. This is the type of film where you have to either hate it or love it. It doesn't work on many levels but the movie fully acknowledges it's crazier ideas. At times the performance by Emily Meade is laughable but is quickly followed by the altogether charming performance by Dustin Milligan, as well as a somewhat touching performance by Luke Bracey. This film may have too much sarcasm for some and may have ideas or camera work that may put some off. But it was a movie that means something that behind its insanity could actually help someone who was going through situations similar too the characters presented. Landis fully embraces the quirkier sides of Los Angelos and most likely wrote this based on many feeling he himself had while he lived in LA. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my fav GLBT movies so far, sweet, funny, beautiful, dramatic, cartoonish; I kiinda sillyfully enjoyed it! Peter Debruge Variety What Max Landis' sexual orientation-bending directorial debut lacks in style, it makes up for in self-absorption. Mar 12, 2016 Full Review Mike Hale New York Times Mr. Landis's sensibility, which combines sitcom jokiness with mumblecore sentimentality, tends to be more grating than amusing in "Me Him Her," though scattered moments will make you laugh. Mar 10, 2016 Full Review Ignatiy Vishnevetsky AV Club As scraggly and eager as a teenage cover band fumbling through its first set. Rated: C- Mar 10, 2016 Full Review Morgan Rojas Cinemacy ... a madcap joyride of a comedy that makes for a solid directorial debut and should stand as another achievement in Landis' already colorful career. Aug 6, 2018 Full Review Armond White Out Magazine Landis avoids the heterosexism of Hollywood rom-coms... Easing past sexual confusion, Me Him Her embraces all sexual identities. Mar 3, 2017 Full Review Maysa Hattab PopMatters The film's essential good nature and abundant charm may be best demonstrated by its pretty backwash of '80s-influenced electro-pop on the soundtrack and gently mocking cameos by Geena Davis and Scott Bakula.
