Black dog turns completely white in 2.5 years, viral photos show his colour transformation

Oklahoma: A black dog has turned completely white due to a rare condition over a period of two years. Photos showing his colour-changing transformation has left everyone shocked.

Buster, a four-year-old puppy from Oklahoma, saw his fur colour change from black to white because of vitiligo.

It appears that vitiligo in animals is painless.

His owner Matt Smith posted photos of Butler on Reddit to share his shocking colour transformation. One pic shows Buster with spiky black fur, while the other shows him completely white.

Patches started showing up across Buster’s body in the space of two-and-a-half-years. Matt first noticed white patches near the doggo’s mouth and chin. They soon started to spread over his face and body.

Buster started losing his black fur and grew white fur. “There was a point in time where he was balding in areas until his fresh fluffy white fur grew in,” Matt said.

‘He’s still handsome’

Netizens showered love for Buster in the comments section.
