This book style is very direct and to the point. This book is about teaching the magician how to direct their will for desired change. There is no prolonged discussion of "ethics". I don't think it's necessary to say the lords prayer backwards in order to initiate yourself into the craft. I don't think manipulative love magic is mentally, emotionally, or spiritually healthy. Aside from these issues, the information on consecration and use of magical tools, and the herbal info is on target.
