My husband and I dined at The Prime Rib for our 29th wedding anniversary last night. We have dined here many times but last night was made truly special. The service we received from Michael was amazing. The food was spectacular! I had the Seared Scallops with Brussels Sprouts over a celery root purée (it was an appetizer special) and my husband had the Salmon. Both were excellent. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail and the Chesapeake oysters, both delicious! Kim, the manager came to our table to make sure everything was good and to wish us a Happy Anniversary which was a nice touch! Our server, Michael even brought us a complimentary red velvet cheesecake with a candle in it to celebrate. The evening was perfect and I am so glad we chose The Prime Rib to celebrate! The only thing I would ask is that Seared Scallops are put back on the main menu. I can not eat pork or beef due to medical reasons so having a seafood option would be helpful for myself as well as others that may be in the same boat. Thank you again for an amazing meal!

The food was undercooked and not very good at all very disappointing as I had great excitement waiting to eat here to only be totally disappointed. The steaks were not cooked as I ordered didn’t have much of a taste sides were just as bad. Be prepared to pay $14.00 for a baked potato or fries 😮 any side is 14.00 so if you are reading this review maybe this will save you $400.00 that was our total without the tip for 4 people. I would mind spending the money if it was actually good so it’s not about the cost!

Wow, this was a surprising one. It’s been years, but we’ve enjoyed the locations in DC and Baltimore so much over the years and has high expectations. Sadly, the level of service was so poor that enjoying our evening was challenged greatly. The server rarely made an appearance. We brought it to his attention a few times and nothing improved. Glasses were empty; we wanted to order more; couldn’t get our dinner order in and had to physically go find him. We asked for the manager and while sympathetic and showed empathy, little changed, sadly. It was the first time in my life that I left zero gratuity and it still didn’t make the situation right.
