The place was a fat girl's paradise. All the cakes, pies and food you can think of. We had lunch which was really good and took a few goodies home with us. I just think that it's a little pricey, more expensive than I thought it would be.

Not much of a market. Plenty of small food places which looked spotlessly clean. Food looked tasty and plentiful but we only needed a cold drink and a sit down

It was near us and we did not realize it is more of a food court than a market (that is open once a week.) I didn't read the history but I imagine it was once a great market for fresh food. If you want something a little uicker or just want your meal to be a little cheaper and aren't in need of ambiance or service, this gives you lots otions. Easier to manage kids if you have them. If we had known exactkly what it was we likely would have eaten two or three times over our week long stay.

Good thing to do on a Wednesday morning! Always lots of stuff! Sometimes bargins, although often things that I really like go for too high a price.

Everyone who sells here grows or makes their product, so you can get accurate information from farm to table. There are lots of organic and pesticide free options (Waterpenny Farm is my favorite). The market runs year round and is an important community focus in town. Beautiful flowers, fruit, vegetables, bread, etc. etc. I think even a local whiskey distiller. Gorgeous to walk around and get something fresh for lunch or dinner.

There are about ten stalls. The seafood stall sells fish and prepares fresh meals. The local ice cream is high quality. There is outdoor seating.

Come to this every time we visit Baltimore, bout 2 times a year. Was disappointed in the selection of vendors this time. As a refurbishing person I always look at everything to redo, but honestly it was just shoes, more shoes, some more shoes, videos, old jewelry n kids stuff. Also had a couple of guys following me around pretty close for a bit till I stopped n stood still so they had to walk away (with a dirty look at my husband as he was in the aisle I stopped in) food vendors, produce stall. Vendors in side parking lot as well, guess cant afford to rent the empty table space inside... I would prefer all table space inside to be utilized instead being out in the sun looking at things on the ground. Hopfully it improves. .

As with most antique malls and indoor flea markets, they represent local arts, local collectibles and the surrounding communities.
From handed down family heirlooms to private collections being parted out, this outlet is typical of small town antique malls and consignment shops.
We first noticed the usual cast offs from the 80s and 90s that litter every flea market, then the farmhouse decor from local heirs and the clothing that many shoppers are seeking.
Second impression after poking around a bit was that the prices are very fair, compared to the antique malls.
My wife got a hand made rocking chair of hand-cut walnut from the 1930s and a beautiful hand-blown glass pitcher.
I got a bucketlist item, a 12" square flat bottom cast iron pan for $20.

We will be back, because you simply can't see everything in one visit to this sprawling collection of useful things and collectibles.

Just outside Finksburg in the community of Gamber, one finds Carolyn Orchards on the main road between Sykesville and Westminster. Seasonal peaches and apples are sold as well as other produce when available along with cider. There is a convenient parking lot and a picnic table.

Mixed selection of flea market items and antiques. Even though many booths were offering 50% discount, we could not find any bargains. Essentially, discounts usually brought final price to full retail value or even a little more. There are plenty of better places in the area to shop for antiques.
