I think it's a rolling cage. You can see what looks to be a bound prisoner in it in the trailer.

Wonder if it's the Thunderdome.
Set photos and trailer scenes show it's like being used to trap and transport prisoners and used like cages.
They are likely used by Cassandra's goon squad. I guess those mounted vehicles could probably have a way to call or repel Alioth which has been growing in power.
It could be a way how the BattleWorld is formed from all ruins from tears in reality, time and space which Alioth feasts upon.

Wolverine's suit looks EXACTLY in the same style as the many MCU Captain America suits.
Right, I didn't say every mcu suit. There are some I like and many I think are overly complex. These suits have complexity; they're not just a shirt and pants, but compare to these:

Also, no big movie studio is going to make a costume with real knives built in. That's a liability nightmare.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some jokes about that, Deadpool taking every opportunity he can to step up onto something to make himself look taller. They don't even have to have him acknowledge it either, just show it in a full wideshot.

I'm absolutely going to see this in the theater. The last movie I saw in a theater was 'Evil Dead Rise'. Before that... it was 'Avengers: Endgame'.
I admit I'm not any sort of connoisseur of cinema, I still get excited about big studio cash-grabbing sequels. I absolutely know these movies just make the rich even richer and that all this fluff media is just a distraction, to keep us from noticing while the rich steal more from us...
Whatever, the point. I at least find some joy in sincere and earnest fan service. It's ironic that Deadpool is in on the joke. Given where and how the character started and where it is now, this is inevitable that the audience is happy to be in on the joke too.

i think the really messed up by removing the shoulder pads on the sleeveless version of the suit. makes him look really weird.

i disagree. everyone has been begging for a comic accurate suit and it’s finally close. every comic suit has sleeveless with shoulder pads. there’s nothing cartoony about it. would look better with the shoulder pads imo.
Putting aside the fact that the movie is not even out yet so you have no idea what costume is used and for how long, try and remember that Jackman himself requested the sleeves because of his skin cancer.

And you’re positive this doesn’t show up in the movie at all? The entire 2 hour and however many minute movie. You know that he won’t ever have shoulder pads while he’s sleeveless? We haven’t seen the cowl either but you only know that’s coming from leaks so you aren’t upset about that one. Watch the movie. I know the cowl is on some movie merch, but all the official pics and videos show Hugh with his hair styled. Why would they style his hair if they were just going to CGI the cowl over it?
I have a feeling the cowl will only be used in a few big scenes for whatever in-universe reason.
Maybe Logan refuses to wear it because it’s too “silly,” but Wade convinces him to wear it in the final battle or something.
I can imagine that. Or maybe Logan doesn't wear it because of the guilt he carries for failing his world/team, until he finally accepts what it means to be a hero again in the 3rd act.
