Line of Duty star Martin Compston is set to lead a new psychological thriller series titled Fear.
The three-part series, based on Dirk Kurbjuweit's book of the same name, will see the actor take on the role of Martyn, who moves to Glasgow from London for a fresh start with his wife Rebecca (Vigil's Anjli Mohindra) and their two small children.
While the couple's new home initially seems idyllic, their neighbour Jan (Solly Mcleod) makes some unsettling comments that turn out to be "the start of something far more intimidating", according to the show's synopsis.

Martyn and Rebecca soon find themselves "facing accusations that are every parent's worst nightmare", with no-one to turn to for help when the authorities turn a blind eye to their plight.
Other cast members include James Cosmo (Game of Thrones), Maureen Beattie (Deadwater Fell), Daniel Portman (Black Mirror), Anneika Rose (Line of Duty) and Bhav Joshi (The Diplomat).
Fear, which is currently filming in Glasgow, is set to premiere on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland next year. Mick Ford has written the script and Justin Chadwick directs.
Compston is perhaps best known for his role as Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott in Line of Duty, which hasn't been recommissioned since its series six finale in 2022.
However, the actor did reveal last year that a seventh series is "definitely on the table" and confirmed that the cast has WhatsApp group chat with a very promising name.
"We have got a WhatsApp group that was 'Line of Duty 6' and a while ago [creator] Jed [Mercurio] changed the name of it to 'Line of Duty 7,'" Compston said on his podcast Restless Natives.
"We have had such a good run with it and a bit of you does go: 'Let's walk away on a high' but we all want to work together again because we are so close," he continued, adding: "We wouldn't do it just for the sake of it. It would have to add to the series, it would have to make the series better."
Fear will premiere on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland in 2025.
