This property is designed for families with children under the age of 10. The pools are really for kids, with the splash pad and zero entry pool on one side, and the pirate ship slides on the other.
We stayed in summer 2020, so still in the midst of the pandemic leaving a handful of amenities were unavailable. The limited capacity made the pool capacity seem just right.
Thought the pirate ship would be a little much for our 2.5 year old, but I was wrong! He loved it.
2-bedroom villa was spacious and clean. Lots of towels provided with no daily room service happening right now. Washer/Dryer in the room was handy to dry wet suits and pool towels to get them ready for next trip down to the pools.
Lunch on site was really good.
Publix grocery store is just 8 minutes away, so we stopped on our way in.

This is not the newest resort but it is well kept and has very guest/family friendly accommodations and staff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa that must have been about 1700 square feet. The second bedroom, with 2 queen beds was as big as the master suite. Kitchen was very well equipped, large fridge, 36 inch range, wide microwave oven, dishwasher and in sink garburator.
There are is a good selection of cookware and utensils as and place setting for 8, and a dining area that could accommodate 8 for eating. Balcony in the unit we rented had a view of the lake, and was very private.
Great spot for kids, huge kid oriented pool and a second one for adults.
A very casual restaurant beside the pool, but not the place for fine dining. There are a number of excellent restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes of the location. The location is quite near the major theme parks and just over 10 minutes from the airport. We paid just over $230 a night for 5 nights and thought this was very reasonable for what we enjoyed.

We stayed in Marriotts harbour lake vacation club 2 bedroom apartment for one week during February 2022.
The apartment was a refurbished apartment in building 12. The apartment was incredibly well equipped with cooking utensils and everything you needed to cook at home. They had a kettle ( stove top ) which us English love. One bedroom with two queens and a bathroom, another king bedroom with en suite and a sofa bed in the lounge if needed. Breakfast bar plus large seating booth and table.
The apartments due to covid are not cleaned during your stay but you can arrange towel changes etc (albeit you have a washer dryer so very easy to launder yourself)
This property has two pools which both are very much children themed. Other family amenities such as mini golf ($6 per person per round) family games and organised activities from the hotel team.
We were not traveling with children but this resort is definitely perfect for families.
The gym is well equipped but sometimes the A/C was set too high. After a few times asking it remained at 68.
The resort has gas bbq grills which were cleaned thoroughly by staff each day. The bbqs were a great asset but a little slow/low heat.
Free parking at the resort and just outside the property was the lynx number 8 bus and the green trolley bus.
Publix was a one hour walk away and Vineland premium outlets was a 65 minute walk. Ubers to the outlets run ar around $10-12

We booked this resort 4 weeks ago, secretly hoping the Marriott grande Vista would open up boy I am glad that it did not!! This resort is beautiful !! We even tried to stay another night we enjoyed it so much. The rooms are beautifully updated and very spacious!! Washer and dryer were amazing to have. Housekeeping has you text them if you need anything literally in seconds you have a response and within minutes someone is at your door !! Very clean all staff had masks and required guests to wear them when not at the pool. This is very much a kid friendly resort , my kids loved the pools and the adults did too. The entertainment staff was great and kept kids busy with fun contests and activities. We stayed mainly at the wateslide pool, it was less crowded but the pirate ship pool was a big hit with the kids. Mini golf on site, and food and drinks not expensive at all ! I would stay here again in a heartbeat our new favorite in Orlando. We are definitely sad to be leaving but can't wait til our next stay!

We have now gone here six times in the last few years and it still is all of our favorite place to go on vacation. I have a nine and 10 year old but we also had kids from 5=17 in our group.
The number one reason is the amount of fun activities to participate in that there are for kids and adults alike. There is basketball, shuffleboard, pool, ping pong, miniature golf (additional price but well worth it), 9 square, sand volleyball, soccer, bags, ring toss, football, Frisbee golf a gaga pit, and all of the equipment is provided from the activities center. Their staff does an amazing job running organized activities throughout the day and I believe it is a key to be involved in them. Josh, Colby, Alex, Michelle, Heroce, Riley (sure I missed a few) go out of their way to make sure you are having fun in scheduled activities that include: bingo, family trivia, slide races, family sports (soccer/9 square/kickball), family feud, water balloon toss, yoga, water aerobics, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts and live music and entertainment. One story
From this trip is my youngest son missed the tie dye activity and Josh took the time to conduct it one on one with my son. This made my son extremely happy and showed how much they care and put the customers need as the top priority.
While there is a lot to do this is also a great place to relax. The two pools and three hot tubs are great places to sit back and relax. It is important to get up early and get to the pool and reserve (have to be present) a chair because they are limited due to COVID. The food and bar on site our perfect for a quick meal and Spencer and Michael keep the drinks flowing. If you do not want to buy food there are gas grills located around the property and utensils are provided at the front desk.
While we don't spend a ton of time in the rooms they are well furnished and we have stayed in the studio, one and two bedroom units and they are all great! The grounds are well cared for and no room is far from anything.
To our family this is the "most magical place on earth" and I give everything about the resort 5 stars!

This is a perfect spot for families, especially with small children. We traveled to Orlando to mainly go to Universal Theme Park, but enjoyed the hot tub and bar by the pool several nights. The room could have been a bit cleaner, but I'm not super picky about that. I just noticed that the floor in the bathroom was not mopped before we got there b/c there were a few sticky spots around on the tile. Also, when we got there the 2nd bathroom had no shower curtain, but with a quick text to the number they gave us, we had a new shower curtain installed quickly. Also, the hair dryer stopped working one night and they came as soon as I texted with a new one. The 2 bedroom unit overlooked the lake and I enjoyed the screened porch each morning. Our condo was very quiet. We were on the top floor. We had plenty of dishes and utensils and pots and pans for cooking in most nights and breakfasts in the mornings. Overall a wonderful week!!

This resort is incredible. Every time you come thru the gate your greeted with “welcome home” 😊. Labor Day weekend and it’s not crowded . Marriott is definitely following guidelines. Maintenance is spraying everything down, staff is constantly cleaning, wiping down hand rails etc. Rooms are beautiful and clean!!! Resort is quiet at nice. Very family oriented. Would recommend this resort to anyone traveling with family . So much for kids to do.

Poor communication. Discontinued resort activity and guest services without notice. Cites Covid as its excuse to provide less and charge the same. While the world is cleaning more, their answer is to deny room cleaning services and not provide cleaning supplies to allow guests to clean their own rooms. Disingenuous.

We had a great experience staying at Marriott Harbour Lake during spring break. We're a family of 5 so we got a 2 bedroom condo which was very comfortable and nicely updated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils we needed and more. They provided a pack n play and a highchair which were both in the room already when we arrived. The pools were so much fun for our kids ages 18 months, 10 and 12. They all enjoyed playing on the pirate ship and the older boys really enjoyed the water slide. There are lots of daily activities that we didn't really get the chance to take advantage of since we were at the theme parks, but finally on our last day were able to enjoy the ice cream sundaes that are served daily from 3-3:45. I read reviews prior to booking that it's impossible to find chairs at the pool, but that wasn't the case. The pool with the water slide does have less seating and those chairs fill up fast, however we never had trouble finding a spot at the pools. This resort is located in the Sea World area, but the drive to Disney was very quick, just hop on I-4 one block over and follow the signs to your Disney destination 15-20 minutes tops. I would highly recommend this resort to families traveling with kids, but if you're looking for a peaceful place to lounge by the pool without kids this resort is probably not for you.

I should preface this review by saying that I booked the wrong Marriott resort. That said, I expect each one to reach the Marriott standard and this one fell a little short. Staff were great. Ambience created by staff was great but the place in general felt tired. Our room 2950 had a persistent sewage odor from the bathroom. A plunger neatly hidden in the corner told us this wasn’t new or unusual so we didn’t go through the ordeal of registering a complaint.
The patio bar is a food hatch which serves drinks. Nice staff but little atmosphere. Some investment would go a long way to make this a much better resort. Unfortunately this is a timeshare property that holds most of its guests hostage with maintenance fees. OK but not memorable. We’ll not be back.
