Marquette travels to Madison for Badger Invite May 3

DES MOINES, Iowa – Marquette University track and field competed at the Drake Relays on Friday and Saturday.

"Overall, a lot of really good results this weekend in Des Moines," said Bert Rogers. "We competed hard and gained great experience. We have a big couple weeks coming up and we are looking forward to moving onto Madison next weekend."

The Marquette sprint medley team of Daylee Braden, Norah O'Brien, Siana Brown-Carr and Addison Pischke finished 10th with a time of 4:02.32, the fifth-fastest time in program history.

Braden finished 10th in the 400m on at 55.39 seconds on Friday, 0.15 seconds off her PR. Zachariah Murray finished 15th in the same event at 48.44 seconds.

Marquette finished 13th in the 4x200 at 1:43.03 with a team of Daylee Braden, Makena Coltoff, Addison Pischke, and Siani Brown-Carr.

Annika Bynum finished sixth in the high jump at 1.63m.

Marquette finished 12th in the distance meley at 10:21.84 with a team of Dan Weizeorick, Braden Schreiber, Danny Olsen and David Zeller.
