LivingCoastThe Living Coast Discovery Center | Website

Greet a sea turtle as he swims up to say hello. Get eye-to-eye with a bald eagle. Touch a bat ray in an interactive touch pool. Visiting The Living Coast Discovery Center is a chance to experience Southern California's plants and animals on the 316-acre of the National Wildlife Refuge on San Diego Bay. Located on E Street and Bay Blvd. Open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

North Island Credit Union Amphitheater is an outdoor performing arts theater with reserved seating for 10,000 and additional seating for 10,000 on an attractively landscaped lawn. The venue is located just 17 minutes from downtown San Diego in Chula Vista, and is the area's first major concert facility designed specifically for music.

marinaChula Vista's scenic harbor offers spectacular views and easy access to southern San Diego Bay. The harbor includes two marinas, an RV park, and several restaurants. It is also home to Chula Vista Yacht Club and two waterfront parks. Various sport fishing, sight-seeing and whale-watching charters operate out of Chula Vista Harbor.

skateparkThis premier South Bay skate park is designed for both “street" and competitive skaters. Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training CenterWebsite 

CVEATCThe Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, located in the eastern part of the City, was built in 1995 and occupies 155 acres. Funding for the $65 million facility was raised by the San Diego National Sports Training Foundation and a land grant from Eastlake developers. Athletes in archery, beach volleyball, BMX, canoe/kayak, cycling, field hockey, rowing, rugby, soccer, tennis, track & field, triathlon, and cross-training abilities for various winter sports train at the Center.

OnStage Playhouse | Website

dramaDowntown Chula Vista's only live community theater with an up-close, intimate setting. OnStage is recognized as a significant cultural arts contributor to the community, and consistently impresses its audiences, critics, and judges with continuing high-quality productions. The theatre seats 60 playgoers, and produces six or more plays per year. If you're looking to pursue your acting career (or you want to have fun), you may even choose to audition!

Otay Valley Regional Park Website

HorsesThe Otay Valley Regional Park (OVRP) is a multi-jurisdictional park that runs through Chula Vista. The OVRP offers its visitors a relaxing sense of well being in a natural river valley. There are trails for hikers, bikers and equestrians. Those with a passion for angling will find peaceful fishing holes along the trails throughout the OVRP. Located within the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, this newly built center is the training home to some of America's top archers, but also offers beginner archery lessons, an archery league, tours, and training opportunities to the public.
