Mark Gill

President & CEO

Mark is the former president of Warner Independent Pictures, Miramax & Millennium Films with a $2 billion track record on such films as Hitman’s Bodyguard, the Olympus Has Fallen series, Frida & March of the Penguins.

Lisa Ellzey

Head of Production

Lisa is the former President of EuropaCorp and was an EVP at Lionsgate and 20th Century Fox. Previously, she ran Ridley and Tony Scott's company, Scott Free, where she won an Emmy and a Golden Globe. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild of America.

Guy Botham

​Co-Head of Production

Guy is a leading movie visual effects entrepreneur with 15 years of experience who has worked on such hit movies as Wonder Woman, Avatar, The Social Network, Benjamin Button, Wolverine, The Avengers and The Revenant, most recently as founder and owner of Vitality VFX.

Vincent Bruzzese

Head of Strategy & Marketing

Bruzzese is a leading expert in Hollywood on production and marketing strategy (having worked on more than 1,500 films). A former professor of statistics and a senior executive of two top entertainment research firms, MarketCast and OTX, Vincent was most recently head of the strategy and analytics team for STX.

Head of Business Affairs

With 20 years of entertainment industry experience, Karen was most recently Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at Bold Films, responsible for all business affairs and legal matters, with an emphasis on negotiation and counsel for motion picture projects from development through production and release.

Crystal Bourbeau

Head of Acquisitions & International

Crystal was most recently EVP of International for Lionsgate. During her ten years there, she launched the $2-billion Hunger Games franchise, 14-time Oscar nominated La La Land, and the John Wick and Now You See Me franchises.

Dana Belcastro

Head of Physical Production

Dana Belcastro has worked in production for 35 years. She has worked on films ranging from $10M to $500M and been both a producer and a Feature Production Executive at New Line, Alcon and Twentieth Century Fox.

Shari Hardison

Head of U.S. Distribution

With over 20 years of entertainment distribution experience, Shari was most recently Assistant Head of Sales at STX Entertainment responsible for negotiating and securing domestic theatrical film bookings. Before that she was at multiple startups including Relativity Media, Overture Films and Focus Features.

Shaun Williams

Chief Financial Officer

Williams was previously at Studio 8, as CFO and was integral in creating the business plan used to successfully raise $250MM in equity capital and close a $500MM credit facility for a multi-year film slate, Prior to Studio 8, Williams was Senior VP of Finance, at GK Films/Film District as well as served in executive positions at BET Networks, Twentieth Century Fox and Sony Pictures

Edward Churchward

Chief Technology Officer

Ed has developed start-ups in the Film/TV/Commercial production including acting as COO for a bookmaking firm, Fitzdares, building the business to $150 million in 5 years. He conceived, designed and developed a cloud-based trading platform and app which revolutionized the business of this sector. Most recently, he joined Vitality VFX, where he worked on such movies as Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Beth Bruckner O’Brien

SVP, Production & Development

Beth previously worked at Millennium Films, A Bigger Boat, and GreeneStreet Films, developing over 35 films, notably the Olympus Has Fallen franchise, The Expendables franchise, Texas Chainsaw, and House at the End of the Street.

Selena Arizanovic

SVP, Music

Selena joins Solstice from Millennium Films, where she was music supervisor and head of music production on over 60 films and has overseen release of numerous soundtracks, including Rambo: Last Blood, Hellboy and The Hitman’s Bodyguard. Her credits also include The Expendables, Olympus Has Fallen and Mechanic franchises.

Sam Speiser

Vice President Production

Sam most recently worked as sole development executive under veteran studio head Rob Friedman, and previously under President of Production Lisa Ellzey at EuropaCorp. She started her career as a documentary and digital content editor. She later transitioned to production coordinating and line producing a multitude of music videos, shorts, and digital media.

Leah Bleich

Creative Executive

Leah began her career at CAA following work experience at Blumhouse, The Exchange, Mandalay Sports Media and MAS Production. She is an award-winning director and producer, and one day hopes to own a capybara.

Kristen Simmons

Kristen’s experience of analyzing moviegoer response to thousands of films and marketing campaigns helps bridge the gap between studios and attendees - identifying those most receptive to messaging and where to find them.

​Brian Dailey

EVP, Media & Digital

Brian has more than 20 years of entertainment media experience that spans platforms, formats and territories. He's worked on both the studio and agency side of the business, building award-winning campaigns for Sony, 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount Pictures, FX Networks, and Hulu. Recent successes include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse and Fate of the Furious.

David Singh

EVP, Creative Advertising

David has created award-winning theatrical marketing campaigns Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures, and 20th Century Fox, including 40 #1 opening weekend films, culminating in $10 Billion in worldwide box office.

Terry Curtin

EVP of Communications

Terry has held key marketing positions at Disney, DreamWorks Animation, Universal Pictures, STX Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Revolution Studios, Relativity Media and MGM/UA, and headed two creative advertising agencies and her own boutique consulting agency. She has contributed to many successful campaigns ranging from Unhinged, Bombshell, How to Train Your Dragon 3, and American Gangster, to A Beautiful Mind, Erin Brockovich, and Goldeneye.

JD Black

SVP, Digital Marketing & Media

JD has been a leader in the digital marketing and media space for over 20 years capitalizing on the ever-evolving digital landscape. He has worked on award winning campaigns for Sony Pictures and Amazon Studios. Notable campaigns include: The Big Sick, Manchester By The Sea, The Aeronauts, Troop Zero, The Report, The Social Network, as well as, the Spider-Man and Bond franchises.

Aaron Hoffman

EVP, Statistics & Analytics

Aaron comes from Frank N. Magid Associates, a research and consulting firm where he worked with a diverse client base including media, digital technologies, ISPs, and consumer products. He specializes in developing research methodologies and advanced Analytics.

Miriam Brin

SVP, Strategy

Miriam has worked on hundreds of films in the pre-production and marketing phases. She spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive database of genre archetypes, allowing for more thorough analysis of a film’s playability and marketability potential.

Jennifer Fradlin

VP, Business & Legal Affairs

Jennifer joins Solstice from Open Road Films (Global Road Entertainment) where she served as VP of Business & Legal Affairs. Prior to that role she was the VP of Business & Legal Affairs at FilmNation Entertainment.

​Rebecca Rheiner

Director of Business & Legal Affairs

Rebecca joined Solstice from Bold Films where she served as Director of Contracts, Business Affairs, responsible for drafting motion picture agreements and tracking contractual obligations across all facets of development and production.

Mark W. McCoy

Head of Post Production

Mark is a former SVP Feature Post Production at Lionsgate, where he spent 15 years. Mark has supervised post production on more than 75 feature films including the Academy Award winner La La Land, cult favorite Warrior and the Hunger Games, John Wick and Now You See Me franchises. His career started as a producer at SyFy for the short film platform series Exposure.

James Portolese

VP, Physical Production

James has been producing films for over 20 years with more than 40 producer credits to his name. He produced such films as Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, Beast of Burden, Flypaper, as well as All-Stars. Portolese also produced the seminal indie film Boxes.

Tish Johnson

VP of Production Finance

Tish has 30 years experience in Production Accounting working for Columbia Pictures, Mandalay Entertainment, Warner Brothers, New Regency Productions & Netflix. Bitten by the travel bug at a young age, her career continued to rack up frequent flyer miles taking her to China, Germany, Hungary, The UK, The Netherlands, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Argentina, Costa Rica & Mexico on budgets ranging from $10M to $200M.

​Audrey Tommassini

Production Executive

Audrey joined Solstice after producing her first feature film, Summer Night. Audrey studied painting and fine art before entering the film industry in 2016.

Lisa Perkins

EVP, International Marketing & Publicity

Lisa has overseen international marketing efforts for The Hunger Games franchise, John Wick, Rush, Sicario and launched foreign pre-sales for Oscar winner La La Land. Lisa is formerly of Lionsgate and Warner Bros.

Chris Tortolani

Manager, Acquisitions & International

Chris, a Berkeley alum, turned his passion for movies and story into a career in independent film. His background includes experience in development, acquisitions, distribution, & finance at Lionsgate and McG’s Wonderland.

Tom Sweetser

VP, Operations

Tom joins Solstice with 12+ years in Feature Film Distribution and Exhibition, most recently serving at Comscore movies group leading the global roadmap and day-to-day operations for SWIFT, the automated collection of reconciled box office admissions data.

Jeff Longo

SVP of Sales

Jeff joins Solstice from Sony Pictures, where he spent the last eight years. He was previously at Summit Entertainment. Jeff holds a BA from Rutgers University and an MBA from Fordham University.

Victoria Blake

SVP of Sales

Victoria has an extensive background working with specialty films and wide releases, and brings a wide range of experience in theatrical distribution sales and operations. Prior to joining Solstice Studios, Victoria has worked at Focus Features, CBS Films, Broad Green Pictures, and Global Road Entertainment.

Andy Strulson

Director of Theatrical Distribution

Andy joins Solstice after spending the majority of his domestic distribution career at Warner Bros. His path has taken him to multiple markets and has distributed notable films such as the Harry Potter series, The Matrix Trilogy and DC Universe. Prior to Warner Bros. Andy worked at Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures, and brings over 40 years of experience with him.

Adam Beranek

Manager, Accounting

Adam used to count numbers for Kreate Events and Eleventh Hour Entertainment. He has also published a few graphic novels, namely Dracula Vs King Arthur. He loves film, TV, tabletop gaming, his GF and his dog, Fozzy.

Rebecca Black

Manager, Marketing Finance & Research

Rebecca is an award-winning theatre and film producer. She recently produced the show Famous and also co-produced the Obie Award-winning The Woodsman Off-Broadway. Prior to Solstice, she was a Financial Analyst with Screen Engine/ASI. Rebecca graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and is a proud Tar Heel.

Taylor Trick

I.T. Manager

Taylor comes to Solstice after assisting multiple start-ups through rapid growth phases. This includes several IPOs and acquisitions.

Sergio Alcantara

Head of Software Engineering

Sergio has worked as a software architect and has led software engineering teams at multiple technology companies. Prior to joining Solstice Studios, he co-founded and was CTO of a legal tech company that specializes in big data analysis.

Bela Levin

Production Assistant

Bela is originally from Brazil and she began her career in one of the biggest production companies in Rio de Janeiro, where she worked as a Project Manager developing and producing corporate films. Prior to joining Solstice, she worked at an independent film distributor for three years. Outside of work she is currently pursuing her Doctor’s degree in Business Administration.

Rita Chang

Finance Associate

Rita started producing film at Georgetown University, where she studied Political Science and Film. She started her career at Boies Schiller Flexner working on a variety of entertainment litigation cases. Before joining Solstice, she worked in Finance and Packaging at WME.
