I just had the best experience at the butcher counter of Stater Brothers in Simi Valley because of one of their butchers, Dylan. I make a special regional dish from northern Minnesota and I need a fileted pork butt. Dylan was a master! Less than 5 minutes he had not only had the cuts exactly how I needed them but also gave me great suggestions. Dylan knew the regional dish I was making and what it entailed. He has so much experience in the food industry and from growing up working with his dad in the family meat business. Thank you Dylan for showing me how it's done and making my life so much easier if I ever go in and you're not there. I will always go to Stater Brothers when I specialty meats. Dylan is an excellent employee and takes
customer service seriously!

The meat department at this store is always the BEST. They will cut and season any cut of meat however you like. They don't charge for cutting the meat and they are always very happy and knowledgeable. We come from camarillo just to get the meat. You MUST GO SEE IT, it's the best.

This is one of my favorite stores to shop at. Since we live in the great crater that is the San Fernando Valley it's not alway convenient to shop here. We try and hit it up while passing through on our way home from many Ventura County trips.

Why do I like it?

They have very good produce.
The isles are wide for getting around.
Everything is well stocked.
The folks that work here are super friendly and not in a fake way.

The meat department is awesome. They put great cuts of meat on sale all the time. Things I have bought here you can't find anywhere else-

2" Thick cut 24 oz Porterhouse Steaks for $5.99 a pound
Brisket Point cut for slow BBQ
Bone in Chicken Breast and Thighs for 0.99 a pound
Giant 7 lbs. Roaster Chicken for $1.05 a pound
Corned Beef for $1.99 a pound. That's dinner tonight!

They have real butchers here. I had them cut me a 10 lb, rib roast for Christmas last year. Really, they are the best!

Love this Stater Bros location but I travel from Ventura to shop here. Vons seem to have a lock on western Ventura county. Would love to see a Stater's location out here.

I can't say enough good things about Rebecca from the bakery department, she literally goes above and beyond for the customers. She responds even on her days off... if you don't call that great customer service then idk what is! She is so accommodating and makes life easier esp during events since the last thing we need is to have a challenging time dealing with the cake! You are awesome Rebecca! Keep shining!

Management here is amazing cashiers are super respectful and friendly they always ask you how you're day was and or if you needed help finding something I'll always come here for the things I need

They no longer have two week's of specials on Wednesdays. This was apparently a temporary promotion. They now have 7 day sales running from Wednesdays through the following Tuesdays.

Been living in so cal for 30+ years watching stater Bros commercials on TV but never lived in vicinity. This is a terrific market in the west end of Simi Valley. It is full service deli, hot food, seafood, and fully stocked shelves . They carry items/ brands I've had problems finding at Vons or Ralphs in Simi. The check out clerks are super nice will help you with your bags . With the drive to the other side of town , which means like 4 minute drive in simi . My new market!

Great butcher counter with friendly and helpful staff. Their produce section is pretty good as well. Comparable to Sprouts in my opinion
