Bloodlands (John Milton Series Book 23) Kindle Edition

The cold of Siberia meets the chill of betrayal.

In a world where loyalty is fleeting and alliances are temporary, John Milton is on a mission that will bring him face-to-face with enemies old and new. When his friend, Alex Hicks, finds himself pursued by mysterious adversaries, the two men are thrust back into the web of international espionage.

Navigating a perilous path that stretches from the war-torn streets of Ukraine to the icy wastelands of Siberia, Milton will stop at nothing to protect his friends and expose a conspiracy that could topple governments and jeopardize global security. As Russian intelligence crumbles from within and a new, unpredictable threat arises, can Milton outwit his most formidable enemies yet?

From the clandestine corridors of French intelligence to the explosive frontlines of a covert war, Bloodlands will keep you on the edge of your seat, questioning where true loyalty lies. In a daring game of cat and mouse that sees Milton, Hicks, and an ensemble of unforgettable characters crossing paths and double-crossing enemies, the stakes have never been higher.

Don't miss this lightning-paced instalment in the John Milton series—a tale of betrayal, survival, and the relentless pursuit of justice.

Great series. Highly recommend. I wished the 24 book was already available. Well written. Fast pace. Lots of action. Love the character.

Mark Dawson is always goo. His John Milton character is one of the best relative to thrillers on the market today. The supporting cast is great, the plot, the changes, the action, all top notch. Don’t miss any of these!

and rescue Control. An ok story that kept me reading. This is typical of the types of situations Milton has previously gotten into. I liked the earlier chapters, but then struggled with the later ones. It seemed like the story became too illogical and made it difficult to stay engaged.

John Milton is on a mission to prove his innocence and rescue Control. Lilly Moon, the betrayer and traitor, is hoping that John Milton is killed and not captured. Mark Dawson, an amazing author, takes the reader on a journey from Ireland to Paris to Ukraine, and eventually to Russia. Ziggy and Hicks are helping John to find a Russian defector who might know where Otto Sommer might be holding Control. This book is definitely
Is unputdownable. I loved this book, and I think you will enjoy it. Happy reading! ☺️

This is one of the best Milton stories yet! You can read as a stand alone but it is better to read a book before this one to get the whole story. Everything will be explained in this book so not mandatory for a good read! I recommend the whole series to a reader!

Another great book in the John Milton series. The ending to Blood lands came to soon. I was hoping for at least one more chapter. I've pre-ordered book #24. Thank Mark for the great stories.

Pretty good read but not the usual Milton story. Too long to get through Ukraine and none of the usual assistance Milton usually offers for others. Also, despite his obvious stress only one mention of his substance abuse issues. Just a different take on Milton this time.

Dawson and his protagonist are at the top of their game in this gripping novel that is so very compelling that it is hard to put down. While the underlying story is a continuation from previous novels, it is very much a stand alone exciting story.
Milton in this book is largely free from the alcoholism that he wrestles with in previous books and he is laser focussed on rescuing his erstwhile boss who has been kidnapped and held in a remote siberian location. When Milton is on a mission, nothing seems able to stand in his way. His life has been devoted to his craft. Staring as a soldier and then as a government assassin(rising to be number 1 in Group 15), his skills are formidable and honed by years of application and training.
This is a wonderful story and when you finish it, get "The Cleaner" which I found as "edge of the seat" a story. Also well worth exploring are Dawson's other series in which characters from neighboring series often appear. It's a wonderful family of characters and stories.
Highly recommended

Another fantastic book by Mark Dawson! The story is amazing! You cannot put the book down, and when I is over, you want more of the story. There is a lot of action between the British and the Russians. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Just read this book in 2 days and could not put it down. A twist at the end but I did think something would happen. It is a pity Milton cannot settle down however then without him then there would be none of his great stories. Well done Mark Dawson. Look forward to the next book.

What a travesty!

Group 15 in the thrall of Russian intelligence? What consequences are in the works?

Lily Moon failed.

John Milton is off to another adventure when he tries to search for his missing airpods. So amusing.
