The bus ticket office at Malaga Airport sells tickets for long-distance buses only, operated by the Alsa and Avanza bus companies. The Alsa and Avanza ticketing staff are usually there during limited morning and afternoon/evening hours, often shutting down during the Spanish lunchtime/siesta. The “A” Express bus takes you from Malaga Airport to Malaga City. The bus runs between 7am and midnight. There are buses approximately every 25-45 minutes, depending on the time of day.
