Good place to buy inexpensive goods.
Meat and junk food are worth the trip.
These are 2 items which are quite expensive in Switzerland.
Stock up for parties!
Don't let the Swiss fool you, more Swiss residents here than expats.
I also buy some stuff here because of recycling. Many packaged goods in Switzerland are not recyclable (plastic milk cartons, plastic yogurt containers, etc.) However, in Germany those same items are available in glass containers. You just have to seek them out.

During the week, a cheap buffet is offered. more quantity than quality. Would not recommend this place, not even for a fast lunch.
Much better Chinese restaurant in center of Weil.

A descent place near the Basel ( Swiss-German border) . A shoppers paradise and the prices are really good . At times if luck supports you can get good bargains /offers. You will find more Swiss than German here as it costs less here than the Switzerland . Also if you have resident permit you can get additional (10-15% avg.) VAT refund .
So on the whole good place .

Takes about 10-12 mins by tram from Basel. H&M, New Yorker and a few other shops with decent range. There is a large pet store in the First floor with amazing collection of accessories and pets. Must visit when your are in Basel. Price wise cheaper than Basel.
