- fredericb3014 contributionsA serendipitous stop when we were heading to Ontario airport. Stopped at this majestic Hindi Mandir and strolled the grounds and amazing carvings . It’s a must see for beauty, architecture, spiritual aura and great photo opportunities!Written February 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amy MFayetteville, NC113 contributionsI came here for the super blooms, admittingly that was somewhat underwhelming, but in comparison to wildflowers on East Coast. However, superblooms or not, the views were spectacular. I went on the Blane Trail (something like that) and every step, view was just amazing.
It took awhile to get in, but I felt as if it worth it. After being in LA area for a couple of weeks, it was nice to hear crickets and see grass and a random rabbit.
Definitely need to bring food, water, and a trash bag. Park entrance fee is $10. Alot of people parked outside first entrance and walked up, I personally wouldn't do that. It's uphill to main entrance and not a short walk. Then more walking until you get to a bench and at least a mile til you hit parking/seating for a trail. Once you park, most of the trails are hilly and I think I was on an easier one.
The flowers I saw were nice (orange poppies and mini hyacinths, I think). Based on pictures of the other reviews looks like people were walking through mustard plants that had bolted. When I walked through, they were still in prime rabbit food stage.Written February 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We knew nothing about this Temple and stumbled across it when we were out looking for wildflowers during California's "Super Bloom".Written May 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jemma DLondon, UK20 contributionsI've been to the more famous Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep in Thailand. It's not surprising that the Chino Hills one pales in comparison but it is nicely tucked away from any hustle and bustle despite being right next to the road. They also have a fantastic food market on the weekend with some of the most authentic Thai food that I've had stateside.Written July 24, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Serendipity533376 contributionsPretty park for wedding and special event pictures. Nice picnic areas, even sidewalks and lights. Lots of ducks and geese-pretty but the grass is messy from them.Written November 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
