Ivy on the building, beautiful
Sep 2014 • Couples
We went to a theatre production and had a wonderful time. If you can't do that, please stop on the grounds the land around it and the building itself is beautiful.

My forever home
May 2015
I attended Aquinas from 2011-2015 and worked many jobs on campus. This place is a hidden gem. Campus is gorgeous in every season (particularly the fall), and you'll find many photographers here for weddings, senior pictures and family photos. A focal point of campus is Holmdene manor, the estate with a large lawn in front of it. If you plan on visiting, feel free to walk in and tell the front desk receptionist that you're just looking around. President Theodore Roosevelt stayed in this home in February 1912, so you can say you have walked in the footsteps of Presidents! If you choose to go upstairs, look at the pictures of the home. However there are offices up there where people regularly work, so try to be respectful.

Feel free to pop in to the Cook Carriage House and get a warm or cold drink from The Moose, the campus café. It won't be open in the summer months for obvious reasons.

If you're thinking of attending here as a student, I highly recommend it. You will find many loving, beautiful friendships here. Like any college experience, you'll get out of it what you put into it. If you have any questions, I'd love to answer them so feel free to message me.

Aquinas is a fantastic place for students and non-students alike. It's worth a drive-through if you're in the area, and a walk if you want to kill some time. I miss this place very much, and I have a feeling it will leave a lasting impression on you as well.

Beautiful Campus
Mar 2015 • Family
This small Catholic college is nestled on the grounds of a former estate in southeast Grand Rapids, MI. The school has been well endowed by a wealthy local businessman for decades. It has a dedicated, caring staff, beautiful facilities, and its small size makes campus life easy, unstressful, and laid back.

A Spiritually Nourishing Visit
Feb 2015 • Friends
Today's quick tour of the campus on a snowy day felt like a walk through an enchanted land. Graceful old buildings, beautiful wooded walks. This campus is a must see for tourists. This meshed with my idea of what a fine spiritually-based liberal arts college looks like. Sipped hot cocoa in the Cook Carriage House, viewed student photo art in the Theater Arts Annex and enjoyed the silence and art in the Grace Hauenstein Library. The library houses some exceptional art, including "The Quality of Mercy" and an astonishing wall-sized 2H-pencil art of cavalry officers. This campus is a reassuring mix of old and new. Do visit.

Poor Administration
Dec 2014 • Business
I have honestly never dealt with an institution with poor record keeping, not to mention various times of attempting to get a hold of their departments. Always claiming that they are either out of the office of on a family leave for 2 1/2 years ? seriously, does it take that long to do a graduation audit? They are heartless individuals not willing to help when help is needed.

I would NEVER recommend even my worst enemy to attend Aquinas.

Circle Theatre is not to be missed!
Sep 2014 • Friends
I have attended many plays, and musical events, over the years at Circle. Each performance was top notch. Based on experience, I know Circle selects only talented actors or musicians, so I always look forward to the evening's event. The setting is intimate, the seats in a semi-circle, with the "stage" at the bottom of the room, so that everyone in attendance has a perfect vantage point. I have had great fun at Circle, and you will, too.

Beautiful Campus/Circle Theater
Sep 2014 • Friends
We went to see a play at the Circle Theater and got there early and walked around campus. Very beautiful old buildings with great walking paths and scenic landscaping. The theater is very modern and new and a great place to see plays.

Saw Jesus Christ Superstar. It was wonderful. No bad seats in the theater. In a beautiful setting. The actors are talented, go see a production if you have time.

Excellent education
Dec 2013 • Family
Aquinas is a small college that is dedicated to excellence in both education and optimizing the student experience. Every step of the way the Aquinas staff works with students to be sure they get the most out of their college experience. Small classes often taught by professionals in their field add much to the experience. I have three daughters who attended Aquinas College and all are doing very well. I highly recommend Aquinas College.
