We are big fans of this Chinese chain and on this occasion we came back here as I really love Chinese food with it's diversity.
Although being mid week, this place was busy with lots of big tables and more were coming. Food was diversified as ever and on this occasion I had more meats than before as I noticed their good steaks and lots of sea food I love.
The desert option is very diversified too although I am not keen on their fresh cream replacement they seem to put on all the cakes. Their creme caramel, creme brulee or lime icecream are simply great. Most surely we will come back.

We had a group of 40 so we had our own room. I would not expect much from a buffet place but the Mandarin is all about quality food, lots of variety and great service. I love seafood and they have probably shrimp ten different ways, multiple fish dishes and a sushi bar with many selections. Dessert is not my thing but they do make a nice Creme Brule and my wife says they make the best bread pudding.
A great meal at a fair price!

This is under my husbands name but .. this review is mine! Friends and I went to celebrate my Birthday ( we go to this Mandarin for a lot of occasions!) and had a great time - as usual!! Love the GREAT selection and quaility of food! We ate a lot and enjoyed our 4 hours there!! I have to mention we had GREAT service from Will , Harry & Kristina. Friendly and on top of everything we needed... Thanks to you ! and Thanks Will for my Birthday song & picture!! See you all soon ... one of our favorite places!! Dina

We keep returning to all Mandarin restaurants in this area as we like the variety: this leaves me always sick as I cannot eat but small portions.
Purely because of their great food I can only come once in a while: I really do not like being stuffed with food and is very difficult to say no when so many items are so delicious.
On this occasion I learned my lesson and had a smaller portion with lots of varieties I like while the big guys I was with kept coming and going with their big plates.
One thing I made space for was a selection of cakes and icecreams which were simply great.

My meal here was amazing! ,everything tasted splendid, and my tastebud were very happy and were dripping with the flavors of the saucy pizza. but the best of all, was the sushi! there was many to pick from and all had a unique look that attracted my hungry belly to it. the servers there was also very polite and complimented my top hat and suit. one of the names that I recall is Diana who helped me at the bar with my drink. She was very nice and helped me. The location of where i ate my delicious meal was Matheson Blvd in Mississauga. Thank you! :)

We used to visit the Mandarin Buffet quite often for Birthdays, family events and holidays. While the selection is large, much of the hot foods has a similar taste. Often food trays are dried out left sitting for too long. Where are the crab legs they used to regularly serve? You have to pay close to $50 per adult for a weekend dinner, with the tax and tip. Also, what's with the Big Deal for Chinese New Year. Dumplings and lemon tarts. So very special. Not.
You are much, much better off going to a quality local Chinese restaurant, order a variety of freshly made dishes, and pay a fraction of what Mandarin charges.

We had a reservation for lunch and were seated quickly. Our waiters Tony and Joanne made us feel very welcome and kept our water glasses filled up.. This Mandarin Restaurant is my favorite place to go to for yummy food. There are many options for me, a pescatarian and my DH, a meat eater. The dessert section is amazing with all it's choices.

On 25th December we had ordered food through Uber eats from Mandarin, on Matheson Dr. The food was good and was plenty between the two of us.
So this morning, 28th December we decided to have it for lunch. As I was towards the end of my meal I found a hard object in my mouth. Brought it out and it looked like glass or clear plastic.
Called the restaurant and the manager kept denying that could have happened in the kitchen. Tried to convince me that since it's after two days it could be the way I stored the food. Finally offered a free fried rice but has to picked up. When I declined he said on my next order I should call him and he will give one fried rice for free. Not sure if I'll order again

Awesome food and service. We had an awesome Christmas work party at Mandarin.The food was amazing and delicious.There was a wide range of food to choose from.The whole restaurant ambience was really cool.

We had a late lunch today at the Matheson location. Very welcoming upon arrival, no reservations reqd.
Covid precautions, sanitizing, hot towels and social distancing were all adhered to, and
made us feel completely safe.
Their new procedure on how to order was explained clearly, food was piping hot, service excellent and not rushed at all. It was fun to pick our selections from a disposible menu and the Mandarin also provides another
menu with pictures and names under of each dish. Prices range from $1.99 to $4.99..and dishes were very generous..we actually ordered too much, which was ok...you get containers for leftovers, to bring home.
For desert, try the banana split..
sooo good.
We will definitely return and urge former customers to support their former restaurant!!!! They need to see everyone back and are doing their best to make your meal a safe and enjoyable experience. Thank you.

Due to COVID-19, dine-in was not possible. Takeaway was satisfactory. We dropped in at the restaurant, ordered, then waited for 10mins inside our car. Food was delivered to us on time.
